They don't take phone calls but they will take your money online. The only time you get a phone call is when you are waiting outside and 1/2 an hour before your departure time then they inform you that they are overbooked. They don't check online reservations and when they tell you that they are overbooked, what it really means is that they dont have enough customers to make it worth their while and leave you standing out in the heat or cold. Not wanting to miss my flight I had to hitchhike and a sympathetic motorist took me all the way to McCarran airport and once there I had to run like hell. These incompetent imbeciles need to be sanctioned and lose their business license. A third world operation at it's worst. It doesn't pay to be black!!! read more

Please, be careful using this service, we flew to laughing via Las Vegas airport and on our way back they were supposed to pick us up at 6:30 in the morning and never showed up, left us stranded myself, my friend and her service dog, they never apologized for a major screw up on their part. When we finally got a hold of them they turned around on us, that they had called us to cancel-lies!! My husband & I were returning from a trip, however our plane was delayed an 1 1/2, I called and left a message at 10:30a.m. and asked for a return call. Never received one, then approximately an hour later an extra 1/2 hour was tacked onto our plane delay. I called but this time the owner answered. He told us he would to try and find another driver, but it would cost us $155 more, on top of the $240 we all ready gave him. We thought that that was rather harsh. He refused to refund our return money of $120. So we were left stranded. We should have seen the "red light" when I booked it with a credit card, but was told to give the driver cash. What a fantastic service we would recommend to travelers. The shuttle was on time both on our arrival and departure and, Shannon, who drove us both ways is wonderful and knowledgeable about the area from Las Vegas to Laughlin, Nevada. She is such a caring person and an excellent driver. Tim, who we spoke to on the telephone was courteous and very helpful and organized as we had to change our date of our return trip due to a personal matter at home. We find the on line form very easy to fill out and explanations and directions are easy to follow. Kudos to Tim and Shannon for offering such an excellent service. Avoid, please. Hitch-Hike, Walk. Find someone on the "Exchange" that is going to Vegas, and pay them (as I did), but DO NOT USE THESE RUDE PEOPLE.! I went on-line and ordered a ticket (late-night). The Website is not quite 'user-friendly', as there is no confirmation of transaction. How is it a RESERVATION must include a payment? So, if one cannot rely on a confirmation for 24+ hours, and not know (at least) that the payment information was (at least received, not processed), how can you know that ANY information was received? In the process, one DOES NOT get an e-mail reply...... nothing!! Even though it is a "reservation", there is NOTHING one can rely upon, unless they call. I sent an e-mail, indicating my dissatisfaction with the process. I received this rude and insulting reply from Mr. Maller, via e-mail: "It's because you can not read, why do you think this is on the website what do you think it means ... ... ... ... ... ... WARNING! Don't get stranded like I did. I'm a 69 year old woman who was left standing outside at the pickup spot at the Las Vegas airport waiting for the shuttle that never showed up. I called Tri-State in January and booked their regularly scheduled Sunday, 4:30 run from the airport to Laughlin and paid extra to be dropped at my home. I specifically asked Tim what I should do if there was a problem. He told me to call the office and use his extension 101 and it would connect with his personal cell phone and he would answer. I called 9 times and left 4 messages. He never picked up. After an hour of waiting in the cold, I found another shuttle that was going to Lake Havasu. I begged the driver to take me too and stop in Laughlin. Of course, I paid for this shuttle too. On Monday, no one had returned my call so I went to the address in Bull head City. The building was empty. I went to a neighboring business and asked about Tri State Shuttle. I was told the building had been empty for over a year maybe two. On Tuesday, I called again and left another message. That afternoon I received a call back. Tim told me that there must have been a glitch and my name was left of the roster. I told him I had seen that excuse on another Yelp complaint And told him I wanted to be reimbursed for what I paid the 2nd shuttle company. I also told him I was very upset about being stranded and When I couldn't find anyone at the business address I filed a complaint at the Better Business Bureau. He got very angry and started yelling that he wouldn't give me any money back. I said goodbye and hung up. Gambling casinos might be fun, but gambling on a shuttle showing up isn't. Don't take a chance on being stranded, waiting for a shuttle that may never come, or calling phone numbers that no one answers. read more

I used the shuttle from Bullhead to Las Vegas. Driver Tim, while using his cell phone drove up over a curb on Casino Drive in Laughlin. Later on the freeway near McCarran airport he came within 3 feet of rear ending cars who had slowed ahead. For those reasons and about 6 additional hazardous moves he made, I called and canceled my return for safety reasons. He has not returned my fare for the return trip and when I called to cancel, he became defensive and told me in no uncertain terms he didn't ever want to do business with me again. If you value your life, I would recommend avoiding Tri State Shuttle. read more

I used their shuttle service for round trip from Vegas to Laughlin. Pretty pricey $171 for two round trip. We were picked up by the owners each time. We were picked up in their personal truck not a shuttle. That was kind of nice lots of room. They were on time picking us up and friendly. On the way back they were 30 min late but were there and on a truck I don't think they actually use a shuttle bus. I was disappointed that for the price we were not even offered a water on a hit day. On the return trip we asked to stop to pick up cigarettes the driver accommodated. Than left to use the bathroom and came back with his food. He never said we had time for that or offered to let us take the time to grab a bite to go so we rushed thinking he was in a hurry. I do believe they would not leave anyone behind and they were somewhat accommodating but the owner is a bit rough in personality. read more

Great! I recently used TriState shuttle service recently from Las Vegas to Bullhead City,Az.. I was planning on spending two days in las vegas and two 1/2 days in bullhead city,az. Since the airport in laughlin/Bullhead is not a mass functioning one, and renting a car is expensive, I opted to take a shuttle. I stumbled across TriState online and found that they picked up at the Las Vegas airport and could also help me immensely with my trip. I emailed them and explained that while I did not have a flight at the airport but would be in las vegas, would it still be possible to use their service. They responded that day with a detailed email and assured me that I could still use the service. It was a task convincing my taxi driver from my hotel that I need to simply be taken to the baggage claim area, where the majority of the shuttles meet. (To avoid this, I should have probably just been dropped off at any airline and found my way to the baggage claim area but owell.) My reservation was for 11:30am and I met a nice older gentlemen who was waiting for the same shuttle. They shuttle did show up about 20minutes BUT that is to be expected with any shuttle that has multiple stop so be prepared to be at your designated stop at LEAST 20 minutes early just to be safe. Once we were finally on the road, it was smooth sailing to Bullhead city. I got to enjoy the scenery and chat with those in van. The driver was very friendly and informative. I got to Bullhead City safely and just under 90minutes (which is very good timing). I was scheduled to take the shuttle back to Las Vegas on Friday morning at 9:45am (NEVADA TIME) and it was by chance that I arrived at my stop 15 minutes early. Just as I got there, the shuttle pulled up! Good thing I didn't stop for breakfast! The trip back was just as great, only a bit more crowded with more passengers. I made a reservation the day before I needed a ride and secured a spot on the 10AM shuttle from McCarren to Searchlight. When I arrived on time at the pickup location the following day, I found that the shuttle had left without me. When I have used this service in the past, if someone was not accounted for, the driver attempted to contact them via cell, which did not happen in this case. I called the office and spoke with the agent who made my reservation. He recalled processing me and said that while the credit card went through, there was a computer glitch and I was not on the manifest. The next shuttle was not until 4pm but he offered to get me on a special ride that was happening in 4 hours at 2pm. I asked if I was going to be refunded my money. He said "we don't do that". I asked if he could compensate me for my time and if I could invoice him. He said "no". This shuttle ride was a convenience for me as opposed to my only option to get to my destination, so I did not need to wait around 4 hours for a ride because they made a mistake. I understand if I were late or did not arrive not getting a refund, but the error was on their end. I even said that he "needed to find a way to make this right" giving him the option to suggest future gift certificates or some other form of a conciliatory gesture but I just hit a brick wall. So I am sitting in the airport waiting for my backup ride and calling my credit card company to dispute the charges and I am NEVER using this service again; not because they made a mistake, but because they refused to even seem interested in making it right. I understand mistakes happen, but an equitable solution is not making me wait an additional 4 hours in an airport with no other offer of contrition. I should have gotten a full refund or some other offer. I will not support a business that has a "like it or lump it" attitude. Come to think of it, at no point did he even apologize for the error. He just kinda giggled his way through the conversation. The sad thing is they are probably the only game in town for some folks (hence their absolutely no refunds policy), so if you MUST use this service, jump up their ass to make sure they are doing their jobs correctly because they seem to not care to do that on their own. read more

Yelp forces you to give at least one star to continue. I give Tri-State 0 stars. In October of 2016 we had a contract for them to pick me up at McCarron at 4:30 and take me to Laughlin. I was waiting at the designated spot shortly after 4:00 and by 5:00 I was worried sick. I am a 73 year-old man and was left stranded. Yes, there were extenuating circumstances, and I could not be contacted -- but I feel Tim Maller had options to not leave me in the lurch. Luckily I was able to hitch a ride to Laughlin for $50. While I felt he should have refunded this sum of money, I offered to split the difference with him. He refused, referring me to clauses in the contract that allow him to renege at his convenience. No self-respecting, honest businessman would jeopardize his integrity and reputation for this paltry, fair settlement. In my experience Tim Maller is a chiseler and a cheat who cannot be trusted. If possible find an alternative shuttle. read more

The owners of Tristate Super Shuttle left me stranded in Las Vegas: I had a reservation, but they didn't show nor did they call. Finally, I got through on a phone line: They told me they had a breakdown. I investigated. They always have breakdowns when there is only one person--my case--to be picked up for the one hundred mile shuttle from Las Vegas to Laughlin. Breakdowns are the business plan since the contract states that a customer has no recourse if they have a "breakdown". I investigated further. In addition, they do no have a business license. I investigated further, they do no have a DOT license to transport people from state to state (TRISTATE-NV, AZ, CA). The license is required, yet they operate a business without these licenses. Makes one wonder if they have vehicle insurance. They are sloppy and dangerous. read more

TERRIBLE! Dishonest, greedy, and unreliable! They encourage the use of the online reservation. It is NOT USER-FRIENDLY. Even when you do finally figure out how to reserve online, the drivers are not given accurate information, or even your reservation, for that matter. This happened to me, and I had no other means of getting home, so I trusted the service, and ended up being charged a random amount of $70 CASH extra on top of $89 for my reservation from Vegas to Kingman. The driver didn't have me on his list, so he "called the office" for that $70 amount. Nothing makes sense as he then encouraged me to call for a refund of that amount since I had made a reservation(which I had in hand and showed the driver), and the problem was on THEIR end, not mine. When I explained the situation to them, they acknowledged there was an issue but apparently think I would make up this crazy story for a refund??? It is appalling that they do business this way!!!! I was asked to provide proof of the $70 cash in a receipt form that the "driver should have given me". Well, unfortunately, I didn't get any receipt, so I guess honesty doesn't work for them. I needed to get from Las Vegas airport to Bullhead City, so I booked with the Tristate shuttle a few weeks ahead of time. I wish I'd had a working cell phone as the shuttle could have left the airport at 3:30pm instead of 4:30pm but oh well, my bad. The service however was great and super friendly, and the truck was comfortable. There was an extra leg on the journey due to the other passenger's drop-off point, but the kind driver/owner took me closer to my destination than I had registered for to compensate, which was very nice. The driver also let me use her phone to alert my parents that I was delayed. I would happily use this shuttle company again. read more
