The report I received largely consisted of observations that were already visible to anyone walking through the building and failed to identify or even warn about a major issue that led to a massive financial loss. For a $2,000 inspection, I expected far more than a surface-level report with no real value. Even more concerning is the complete lack of professionalism in their follow-up. After I spoke directly with the owner, he told me he would investigate and call me back. That never happened. I waited a week, sent a follow-up text, and still received no response. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes can happen--but ignoring a client after such a serious issue is unacceptable.
