Buying a home is stressful, but working with Gate City Home Inspections is anything but. We did an initial home inspection and Brian was friendly and thorough. My husband and I are first time home buyers so we didn't know what to expect - Brian answered any questions we had, put in the time to explain what he was doing, the things that seemed off, and how to fix them. About a week after the inspection we found out that a particular test was required by our lenders to get our loan approved. Brian was quick to respond to our last minute request and made time in his schedule to get us next day results. He is as professional as they come - we would highly recommend him. read more

Our realtor recommended Brian from Gate City Home Inspections. First and foremost I was impressed with Gate City Home Inspections availability. Brian was right on top of it prior to our inspection he set up a Radon test. I met with Brian yesterday he is both professional and very thorough. I didn't want to bother him as he was doing the inspection, but he included me he showed me everything that was wrong with the home and told me he would make recommendations in a detailed report. Later that evening he had a full detailed report of both the Radon test and the home inspection. Both reports were precise and easy to read. I'm very pleased that we went with the recommendations from our realtor. Gate City Home Inspections Company is top-notch for home inspections. read more

As a first time home buyer, Brian was a tremendous help throughout the home inspection process. He was flexible with time, kind to our persistent questions, and thorough in the inspection. I had spent the week dreading and fearing the inspection and within 5 minutes, was able to relax and actually enjoy the project. His recommendations and insight were all right on. In addition, Gate City set up a "Home Binder" online portal for us, where our appliance information, maintenance services, and preferred contacts are kept. My first "maintenance" notification is to change my smoke alarm batteries on April 28th, 2018. I feel safer and more secure as a home owner because of this tool and knowing that my home needs will be notified to me throughout the year with a smart and seamless system. By far and large, and I highly recommend Brian and Gate City Home Inspections to anyone in the process. read more

Absolutely recommend Brian. He was prompt, thorough, professional and affordable. He went through the entire house, inside and out, explaining all the components, from how they operate to how to maintain and when to expect to possibly replace. I've worked with other inspectors and Brian outshines them all. I am totally confident in what I am purchasing, thanks to his thorough report. read more

We hired Brian for our home inspection in Nashua (June 2, 2015). He was very responsive while scheduling the inspection and arrived early the day of the inspection. Brian took his time pointing things out and repeating things so I could take proper notes. He was open to me asking questions as he went about his business. I think he also went above and beyond when I would ask for his advice on fixing/updating things; especially in the attic. Brian took extra time in the attic pointing out areas of interest for current and future considerations/improvements. It was very much appreciated as a first time home buyer. His report arrived the evening of the inspection day and was thorough, including pictures and notes. I would happily recommend Brian for a home inspection. read more

Best experience. I started to trying to connect with Brian via phone and had some difficulties. However, once I switched to email, getting connected became much easier. Brian deploys some modern technology, e.g. online schedule system, a drone to look over roof, and report generator app. All these made his service outstanding, efficient and affordable. Brian arrived early on the day if inspection and did a thorough work. He is super easy to talk to. After the purchase, I came up with questions and reached out to Brian by email, and still get prompt response with helpful information. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. read more

Brian came recommended from a friend who recently had a home inspection done and I am so grateful for that recommendation. We are in the process of buying our first home and the process has been extremely stressful, yet nothing about working with Brian was stressful. We were able to schedule our appointment online and he showed up 15 minutes early. He took the time to complete a thorough home inspection and provided us with information regarding every area of concern we had. We knew that a previous buyer was concerned with a particular area of the house and chose to back out because of it. Upon telling Brian about this, he spent nearly two hours inspecting this one area of the house to ensure that he didn't miss anything. Brian delivered his report - detailed, thorough and complete with pictures - within five hours of completing the inspection. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone who is buying a home. He was especially helpful to us as first-time buyers, taking the time to educate us and answer every question that was thrown his way. You can tell Brian is knowledgeable and passionate about home inspection. If you're in need of an inspector, this is the guy you want to call! read more

I had Brian do my home inspection for a recent home purchase. He provided a thorough, in depth report highlighting several items that needed repair. I was able to use what he found in his finding to negotiate a new roof and some electrical work that needed attention. All while being on time, professional and at a very reasonable price! I would not hesitate to use Brian again for another home inspection. read more

Brian was a pleasure to work with. He came recommended by my realtor and he did a very thorough job. He showed up early for the appointment and got right to work. He took the time to explain different aspects of the house to me as a first time home buyer, pointed out any type of issue he discovered, and gave suggestions on how he would fix it. I never felt rushed, and felt I could ask any questions of Brian that I had. He supplied a detail report that very evening with pictures and descriptions of any findings as well as detailed information about the house. The quick turn was helpful. I had one concern after the inspection that I brought up to Brian, which he was very responsive to. He cares about his clients and their happiness before and after the inspection. read more

I couldn't have asked for a better inspector! Brian is everything you could hope for and more. Not only does he know his stuff but he also has a great personality and the patience of a school teacher. He was very thorough in his inspection and educated me along the way. There was a winter storm on the day of our inspection but Brian still arrived early. We finished up around 5pm (on the Friday night of Christmas weekend) and he still had the entire 32 page report done that night! He uncovered a plumbing back up that could have easily gone undetected if he hadn't been running all the plumbing as he did. It took almost 2 hours before the back up occurred. I thank him for his diligence in finding this costly repair need. His pricing was better than the competition and so were his ratings. I can see why he has 5 stars and am glad to add another 5 start rating to his profile. Thanks Brian! read more

Brian did our inspection very throughly and explained everything in a way that was easy for us to understand. He took his time and was patient with us even though we had our 11 month old. He is very reasonably priced and they even have a military discount! If I had to do another home inspection, there's no doubt I would call him again. He sent the report the same day and that was great. I will definitely recommend to friends! read more
