Finally, an electrician that doesn't play games. One person operation with full accountability and…read morea 'let's get it done' attitude. Good communication either through email, text or phone. I had a bucket list of items that I needed help with. I got ridiculous quotes from other electricians, $2200, $2600, $2500. Marty came by, looked at the job and had decided the best course of action what to just do Time and Materials at his hourly rate. It saved him from underestimating/overestimating and I could manage the costs fairly. Items completed: 1. Deck Post light caps: Caseta switch installation. Also diagnosing some incorrect connections (I had made incorrect connections previously). Wiring an incomplete LV wiring run to complete a 'missing' section of lights. 2. Under deck puck lights: 15 Amp box and 2nd Caseta switch installation powering puck lights 3. Troubleshooting Magnitude MLV Transformer (found bad caseta switch and worked with Lutron support to diagnose and get replacement) 4. Installed heat tape on troublesome (ice/snow) roof section I got everything done for roughly $600.00. (I bought all the materials in advance ~$100 worth and did some "brain dead" stuff myself (like running 14/2 UF wire through existing conduit). In any event, I was thrilled with T&M as was he. I believed I saved roughly $1500 by spending an hour or two myself and having Marty come in for the rest. I think I found my new 'go to' electrician in my area. Fair, honest and hard working.

We were tight on cash and he took the time to set up the quote/ project in phases. I loved the long term plan* with EVERYTHING priced down to the penny, NO SURPRISES! Now how refreshing is that? It's been about a year since he finished "phase one" and we've gone all out ADHD on our home improvement projects, but when we finally make it back to finishing our smaller electrical projects, Marty's our man! *disclaimer: OBVIOUSLY prices will change as time passes! I will fully expect Marty to re-calculate the bottom line as we move through our future projects. THE POINT IS, you'll know upfront!

We were in the market for a standby generator installation and contacted a small handful of…read morecompanies that serviced Southern NH. Generator Pro (Nashua) and NH Generator Installers (Concord) were the two companies that had the generator installation process down to a science as well as good reviews on other sites. We brought both companies out to give us quotes and the work came out to about the same price in both cases. We ended up choosing Generator Pro because (a) we didn't have to chase them down for the estimate after the visit, (b) the owner personally did the site visit for the estimate and seemed like a really good guy and (c) their communication skills were noticeably better than their competitor. Generator Pro ended up being great every step of the way to the finish line. The installation process is coordinated by Michelle, who is incredible at her job. When you undertake a complex job such as a generator installation, the person coordinating the work is just as important as the people actually performing the work. There are numerous steps along the way--choosing the right generator, getting it delivered and "set", gas hookup, electrical hookup, inspection, etc--and most of it has to happen in a certain order around the buyer's schedule. Some of the work needed to be outsourced to 3rd parties, such as gas work and electrical work. Generator Pro chose very friendly and competent workers for these tasks that we were happy to welcome into our home. When the generator process was complete, the owner (Doug) drove over to give us a personalized tutorial on usage. When you spend this amount of money on a purchase, you want to feel great about it every step of the way. Generator Pro gave us a level of service that never had us second guessing ourselves when we were writing large checks. We look forward to working with them going forward!

I would strongly recommend Generator Pro for general maintenance or electrical issues on your home generator.

Since this is the only Ryobi repair place within an hour that we could locate, we gave them a shot. When we dropped it off, we were told not to call them because they were too busy and they'd call us. A couple weeks later, we found out they'd put in a new motor, charging us $439. This was a $500 mower brand new and we told him multiple times it wasn't under warranty. To add insult to injury, when I got it home, it still behaved the exact same way. I brought it back to him again, they "fixed" it a second time (for no additional cost) and it STILL was no better than before. They said they'd used it to mow their lawn to make sure it was working, so my guess is that whatever the actual issue was was never actually found/addressed and the new motor may have been unnecessary. When I asked for my money back and explained that we were unhappy for being charged almost the cost of a new mower for a repair in the first place and that I didn't want to bring it to him a third time, he eventually hung up on me. Stay away from this company if you value your money and time.

Told him that you could buy new ones for $25 so why would anyone pay him to sharpen????!!!! He claimed they were back ordered and not available. This guy is so unethical and should not be allowed to be a certified warranty repair shop, for anything!!
