But I sent them I picture showing the stamped 10 yard on it! I was closing on my house the next day. After several calls back and forth, I was told they didn't have any 15yard dumpsters available! Almost 3 weeks later, I was billed an additional $119.00 for the 10 yard being overweight! If I had the 15 yard which is what I ordered, it would not have been overweight! The first woman told me that the dumpster would be delivered between 8-10 AM on Friday morning. That didn't happen. When I called at 10:10 AM, another woman told me that it was not written up that way. She told me that they will drop off the dumpster in 45 min, but it was more like 1 1/2 hours. So I took the day off work, woke up ready to go and begin filling the dumpster, but had to wait until after 11 AM to get started. Lost a lot of time. The guy who brought the dumpster out was nice and he picked it up on time. Perhaps he should be the one taking phone calls.

The company knows that it is supposed to come pick up this dumpster, but for whatever reason they haven't done it. It is stinky, unsightly, and taking up precious parking spaces. I called the company to figure out what's going on and they said they haven't been able to pick up the dumpster because there's not enough empty space around it to retrieve it. Seriously? If you managed to park it here, then you should be able to pick it up. This is the city, where people park on the street. If you cannot pick up a dumpster that's parked in the middle of a block then don't park a dumpster in the middle of a block. Or better yet, stick to jobs in the suburbs. Hopefully the City doesn't continue to use this company for street cleaning jobs.

Junk King charges by the truck load. 1 truck load is well over $500. A 30# dumpster costs about the same minus the labor to fill it. I hired the South Suburbs Junk King to remove items left behind from previous tenants not realizing exactly how much it was. I figured it was a truck load, but there were other items around the property I didn't see including a refrigerator; which I always put out at the curb for salvage guys to take for free. I had used Junk King on numerous occasions so I did not request an estimate when they arrived at the property. This was a painful mistake / omission on my part. I received a bill for nearly $1,700 for 3 plus truckloads. I got no phone call or advanced warning from the franchisee to let me know what the cost was going to be for the removal of these items. Had I had that information in advance, I would have definitely chosen a dumpster and labor as it would have been a third of the price. All the franchisee said was: "Sorry. Now we know for next time." Definitely NOT going to be a next time. Buyer beware when you hire this junk King franchisee for the South suburbs. Shady.
