If you know you're hosting a golf tournament. It's not hard to put up signs days before indicating you're gonna be close to the public.

Shady management, beware!!! Fair warning for anyone who wants to play here this time of year: everybody in my group got the summer rate golf package for $53, the person working the front desk didn't mention the package to me, and charged me $61. While ringing me up he said the computer was having "issues" and running slow, and never gave me the receipt (shady?). After the round, I mentioned the discrepancy to the front desk people, and the person who charged me in the morning said it takes too long to ring up the discount on the computer, that's why I didn't get offered it, and the three of them working behind the desk (2 ladies, one gentleman) said they could not credit back and charge me the correct amount with the summer card (shady 2?). I will not be coming back, despite my group planning another trip back using the discount card they all bought, lol. The course was in okay condition, greens are decent, but no water stations anywhere on the course. Ask for the discount, or the front desk will pocket the difference!! read more

This place is a great place to come golfing. They take good care of the course here. The people in the clubhouse work really hard and provide excellent customer service. The rates are pretty decent too. The greens are always in good shape too. Take it from me!! I have been golfing here since 1995 and the course has gotten better and better each year. On hole 15 tee box you have a view of all 3 mountains. Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Baker and Mt. Hood. Hence, that's why they call it Tri- Mountain. If you play here you will not be disappointed. read more

While inside paying for my round some nice person was outside stealing my golf clubs. After getting the key to my cart, I went outside to get my clubs and they were gone. Been golfing for 70 years and never ever thought this would happen. Filed a police report. BEWARE! read more

Great course. My favorite in the area. Pretty challenging with fairly wide fairways, few trees. Good greens. Bunkers could be better. Pretty wet in the winter, but really nice when things dry out. Good putting and chipping practice areas. Full shots you hit off mats into a lake which is not to my liking. Great pro shop service, especially Jamie who always remembers my name and has a pleasant word or two. Reasonable green fees. Good cafe. Can't be beat. Check it out. read more

One of the worst golf experiences I've ever had. Course management and pace management was abysmal. There is no Marshall managing the pace of place. Not only did we tee off 30 minutes late, but it took almost 3 hours to make it through the front 9 as we waited at each tee for a minimum of 10 minutes to let groups ahead of us move forward. Very disappointed as Tri-Mountain is marketed as one of the higher quality courses in the area. read more

This is a great golf course. Not far from pdx, just north in Ridgefield. The people running the course were great, practicing good safety during COVID virus. The rough areas are really tough. Stay out of the rough and on the fairway, you can shoot a decent game. I had several balls lose their way. Now buried for eternity. Go up there and have some fun. read more

I've played Tri Mountain for years....know the course very well. My review is based on the situation that occurred yesterday, 6/16/18. We made a later than normal tee time for 10a on a Saturday. The weather is good and everyone should expect the course to be packed. However, how can your tee times be 35 minutes late at only 10a?? What followed our (now) 10:35a start was 5 1/2 hours of waiting on every single shot. Take one guess how many marshalls we saw on the course during this time. If you said zero, you are correct. So, a full course and nobody out there ensuring pace is being kept? Come on, Billy Casper Golf, you need to do better than this. I'm pretty sure the Men's club (which we were playing behind) has run amok with the course....at least on Saturdays. I think they're the course bullies and nobody is keeping them in check. They need some adults out there to move things along. I'm not saying I won't play Tri Mountain again, but never on a weekend. At least until I see evidence that changes have been implemented to speed up the pace of play. read more

A nice course, with a few challenging holes and lots of water. Played from the tips and didn't have to much trouble shooting par. Large greens and open fairways, other the then water hazards. The range here is the highlight though. You fire balls into a pond! I can't really explain how cool it is to hit balls into the water ON PURPOSE! The course is fairly good. Very nice greens, still pretty good grass in the fairways BUT the pace of play is terribly slow.. 5 1/4 hours. I informed the clubhouse about the issue, no marshals so nothing was done. When the group in front of us teed off at 16 the group in front of them were approaching the 18th green. They should do better on a Saturday. read more

Let me start by saying there are some really great people that work at Tri-Mountain. I have golfed here often over the years, but the course needs to be managed better. Why do they still refuse to have a Marshal or a starter. A marshal can keep the pace of play so everyone can enjoy a round, not just those players that are 3 holes behind the group in front of them. And instead of a starter everyone just mills about at the first tee trying to figure out who plays next. It is also hard to tell what your tee time will cost. The website says $40 midweek but booking on their online system says $43 and the fine print says if you book in person it is even more. How about simple clarity in pricing. I say it may be time for Clark County (They actually own the course), to start shopping around for a new management company. By the way it is managed by Indigo who used to be Billy Casper Golf and is now fully owned by Troon. I also don't think they read these reviews as all the responses I've seen on Yelp are canned replies. If they read all the poor reviews, the changes they need to make would pretty evident. read more

First off I am not a golfer but I have considered taking up the game as it looks like good way to burn off some calories to me and from the reports I have received from avid golfers friends of mine great exercise ? I and two friends decided one day to just drop in to their small café which turned out to be simply a snack bar but they did have a Breakfast of sorts! It was as what it was? A omelette w/Hash Brown potatoes on paper plates? I've really no complaints to speak of except I was expecting a regular cafe ? Great course but desperately need some Marshall's out on the course. Our 3:04pm tee time didn't tee off until 3:20. We just finished the 10th hole and it's 6:32pm. Also they didn't have any range balls available when I arrived at 2:30pm on a Saturday. Possibly the slowest play I've ever experienced at a golf course. The hot dog was fantastic though, probably the best part of the experience. read more

This place advertises an "early bird" rate of $35.00 Mon.- Thurs. but online they are always taken and it won't let you book more than a week in advance. So I called them and was told,"Well we only have one early bird time at 7:30 a.m. and the same groups always reserve that weeks in advance." So there's no way for the public to secure an early bird time at Tri-Mountain despite their website saying they have it. A few select groups rotate on that 7:30 time....no opportunity for anyone else....false advertising. read more

My husband and I decided to make the 45 minute drive to golf here yesterday. We played 18 holes with a cart. At first glance I thought....oh, it is flat and seemed easy but as we played we found it pretty challenging course I some respects. The only real downside to this course is it was very wet. I know that it rained a lot the day before but it seemed to have some drainage issues. Definitely a course that can be played in adverse weather. We had a great time and everyone was very friendly. Tri-Mountain is a nice undulating course with plenty of water hazards. Not too many trees to shoot around, but the greens are large and spacious. It's basically a links style course. Wasn't too crowded whenever we went also. Of course what stands out here is their driving range. You actually fire your balls into a pond that has flags anchored so you can figure out your distances. Pretty cool if you ask me although it's from mats. It's located right off I-5, but you'll probably have to backtrack a bit on a side road if you're coming from Portland. read more

This is a fun course to play. It's well groomed, I love the fact that there are no trees!!! Yay! The wind can get pretty crazy, so between that and the water hazards it can make it a little tough. Service can be "hit or miss" but for the price its worth it. This course is pretty compact, so it's a good course to walk. I'm a fan. read more

Great Course. Had a lot of fun with me and my 3 buddies. Food there is why I gave it 4 stars. The register guy was super weird to us, made me feel awkward. Hmmm, thought I had previously reviewed this. Course, but it doesn't show up. It is probably a good thing that it doesn't, because it was quite negative, especially regarding the pro shop (the person acted as though he didn't care if we played or not) to the course marshal (none! We suffered through a 5 hour round). But this time everything was different, except for the marshal still no one. So let me begin fresh. Pro shop attendant was polite, courteous and extremely helpful. Our foursome was there early and he got us out early - we always appreciate that kind of service. Since we are in the great Northwest, we play a lot of really sloppy course this time of year (so much that we have moved up to the forward tees to make up for the lack of roll) - thus teeing it up at TriMountain was a real pleasure. True, the course had some wet areas, but overall it was in excellent condition and the greens were superb (even though my putting was not!). Followed a foursome who played right along and we finished in just under four hours making for a splendid day. There are a couple of downsides - the putting green is not really conducive to practice, unless you want to practice fast breaking putts and the chipping green is far removed from the pro shop area. They do have a driving range, though I have never used it, at which you hit floating golf balls onto a small lake. Can't quite figure out how it can reflect an accurate practice session. And finally, they are a bit pricey for this time of year. Overall I have rated it five stars, so the positives (the playability of the course being number 1), far out weigh anyone the negatives. read more

What a poorly manged pro shop. The parking lot is 1/2 full. The not-so bright gal couldn't fit a single on for an hour. I saw twosomes going off the back and yet she couldn't even check that for me. Great course and staff. No Marshall so the 4 in front of us, who were 15 minutes late for their tee time, greatly slowed things down. Felt like modern day traffic jams on MT. Everest. This foursome seemed to be oblivious to their lateness and slow play as well as their complete unawareness of moving the game. Wiping off clubs and seemed to be thinking there was nobody behind them. I finally had to cart up to them and ask if their ancesters came over on the JulyFlower. 3 of them didn't get it and the fourth laughed and sped their players up. I guess they might have thought I was a unmarked Marshall. Other than having to bypass a few balls in the rough to keep the masses moving, it was a great course . All was good , even the slow folks. read more

-pro shop staff was welcoming and helpful. -range is hitting into a pond with floaty balls so it's not a solid feeling of warming up. -early season the course is not soaked at all, fairways were okay and greens were surprisingly fast. -nice wide open fairways, 5 tees to choose from, large greens, short par 3's..all made the course an enjoyable play. I'd say that this course is great for a mid to high handicapper to while offering some challenge for a low single digit guy. Worthwhile to play overall read more

Update on my previous review. My review was a knee-jerk reaction to technical problems that were outside of the courses control. Without contacting them, the GM - Mike - sent out a note to my home that acknowledged the problems they had and welcomed refunds in case I was charged in error. Which I was twice. I called them and Mike was more than friendly and addressed the situation ASAP. I actually want to apologize to Mike and team for the unfair rating and have nothing but rave reviews for how they handled the situation. Kudos to TriMountain! read more

This is a large course. I don't golf, so it's hard to review the course. They have a restaurant, pro shop, and meeting room in the basement. They have a large parking lot. It's close to the freeway. read more

Great track for the money. Groomed very nice for a muni. Grounds crew does an awesome job in keeping the greens in very nice shape. Not as easy as you would think or as windy as everyone says. Staff always helpful. Men's club is pretty strong and has a lot of tournaments and weekday games. Try it out you won't be disappointed. read more

We held a private party on the deck and it was a perfect location with such a beautiful view overlooking the pristine course! Tabitha was so easy to work with and we had great communication from the beginning and throughout the whole process, and Christina was so helpful in providing outstanding service to our party during the event, along with her crew who stayed late in order to help clean up. Pretty interesting layout. It's a wide open track so the wind can be a significant factor. I enjoyed hitting floating golf balls into the driving range pond. The office staff is always helpful. read more
