I could see where some folks might not know how to take him, or may consider him a little off-putting, but my 150lb monster dog's kinda a quieter personality too... and he loves the doc... so all's good. I really like that they're locally founded and still locally owned (and I believe the docs son is now participating as a vet in the practice) As long as they stay locally, family owned... they'll get my business. read more

They are always great to do with and take care when it comes to getting your pets in and out, especially when you have a big dog that might be uncomfortable in the lobby with other dogs. Will no longer go here for pet care! My canine was diagnosed with bladder cancer by another vet. After many medications later there was nothing to be done other than help her comfort as she passed. The day before she passed we contacted this vet to help her passing. This was a Friday, after the vet had left for the day. According to the staff, which had no concern for the dog, said the vet was gone for the day and that he would be back on Monday. As if my wife and I could choose when the dog was gonna pass. This vet office does not care about your family member! Go to another vet! read more

Terrible service. Vet walks in and tells my girlfriend (who drove an hour as a new client) that he wouldn't treat her 17 yr old dog. No introduction, no ask for an explanation. They just wanted $300 bucks right when she walked through door. read more

This vet told my 17 year old daughter for over three months that her cat was constipated. Over 500 dollars spent on x-rays. They said give miralax and give her time she would get better. Fast forward a few days later and a phone call back to the vet(when they advised again continue treatment)the cat was lethargic and barely breathing . Took her to an emergency vet, who right away recommended bloodwork ( previous vet never offered,recommended,or even suggested bloodwork) she was diagnosed with a terminal illness and had to be euthanized. Our family has spent thousands of dollars at this vet. So i asked them to refund the last visit as they clearly misdiagnosed her pet and waisted money on irrelevant treatments. Of course they blame us for not requesting bloodwork like we're supposed to know. We have always done everything the vet recommended as it is there job and they should know whats best for your pet.now they are refusing to give me full medical records and billing invoices for any of my animals. Would not trust them again with any of our animals. I would leave 0 stars but its not an option. read more

Has done incredible operations and given me great information to keep my little buddies healthy & happy. i was just scheduling yearly shots for my yorkie and wondered why my vet didn't have 5 stars on yelp.... I don't know what Nichole B. is talking about. Sounds like she got her vets mixed up because Tri-County does EVERYTHING in front of you unless it's a surgery and that's a controlled, sterile environment. They cut my pup's nails all the time & NEVER a problem...??? I don't know anything about Bordetella vaccine but based on her other comments, she MUST have vets mixed up. Duck B. - They don't lie about services. If this person told Doc about their dogs daily habits and he suggested a Parvo, then the dog needed a Parvo. If Doc needed a fecal test to figure out something going on and you don't agree to the test then they can't help you so an appointment is pointless. I'd go to the mat for this vet. They've saved my pets lives on a few occasions and I trust them. read more

This is the 3rd vet I've tried for my dog and I'm so thankful it was suggested to me! I'd spent A LOT of money trying to find out what was going on with her. In just one exam the Dr found things the other two places hadn't even bothered checking for. He also let me know the expensive "allergy" shots she'd been getting weren't even covering what she was actually reacting too. After a much more wallet friendly alternative she is now happier and healthier than she's been in a long time! Very happy to have found such a great place to take my fur baby! read more

They lied about services I had to have and refused to take "no" for an answer...When I said no to a fecal test (which my dog doesn't need) AND an unneeded Parvo shot that she doesn't need they then refused to let me come in for an appt! This is outrageous. We have more choices over our own healthcare and child care than we do about our pets! This place bullies you and when they figure out you will not put up wIth it then they say NO APPOINTMENT. We are the only advocates for our dogs and these unneeded vaccines like parvo every year and fecal tests are BOGUS and even harmful to our pets! Studies have shown that dogs/cats do NOT need all that year after year! Also, why would I get a fecal test just to come in to get my yearly rabies and kennel cough? We do not need to get fecal tests! I don't recommend bringing any of your animals to this vet. I brought my cat to have surgery, removing two stones from her bladder. I had been letting them know she wasn't eating hadn't used the bathroom besides peeing on herself. They just told me to keep rubbing ointment in her ear to try and make her eat meanwhile she died 4 days later and they have no eplanation as to why it happen, didn't even say that they were sorry. Not to mention the $1,200.00 I just spent. Really upset with the lady Lisa for not relaying information to the doctor. Horrible experience !!! Took our pup in for routine visit/ shots. They do nothing in front of you. They take your animal to a back room and do everything behind closed doors. When our pup was brought back to us he was screaming uncontrollably. We were told it was due to the Bordetella vaccine because it burns.( we have multiple animals and have never had a dog act this way after shots ) They clipped our pups nails and cut multiple too short , causing them to bleed. Didn't even have the decency to acknowledge the mistake. Vet came in briefly after everything was done and said very little. Will not be back and highly recommend you stay clear . read more
