Never showed up for the first appointment, so I messaged him to see what happened. He rescheduled to the following week with an excuse. Following week came and again he never showed up. Again, I had to be the one to reach out to him for an update, and again it was some excuse. Due to the above we went with someone else.

He showed me how it was working, walked me through the installation so I was informed about all the wire locations and the method he used, and even added some tweaks to accommodate a microwave I was planning to use there. He was quick and efficient and even offered to clean up and repair the drywall. Also a nice guy with great stories about his work in the area. Will definitely be calling him back.

Buyer Beware: Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Unreliable…read more We had a very troubling experience with John Kulk of Kulk's Plumbing and his employees. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had "conferred" with John Kulk and repeated the same question, "perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??" During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can't find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk's employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. We also faced major reliability issues; snow removal was promised but denied immediately when the first snow storm arrived. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We do not feel comfortable having John Kulk's Plumbing in our home again. We cannot recommend this business. All statements above are true, verifiable, and protected under the Consumer Review Fairness Act. Areas of improvement- Their virtual assistant that picks up when you call is atrocious. Took the appointment but they dispatched the wrong guys for the job I needed done. I also was trying to get someone at twebber and dealing with the AI assistant to call back the person who called me is impossible. The plumbing manager Matthew is a moron. 1/10 do not recommend. Don't bother dealing with him. The pricing is absolutely insane. They charged me 5700 for a job that took less than two hours and maybe 100 worth of materials. Legitimately- it should've been half of that. My sewer line detached from the clean out line. Twebber will come immediately. So my recommendation is call a few other companies in an emergency first. If they can get to you quickly you will save a ton of money. If none of them can come quickly, Twebber will but you're gonna get RAKED.
