I'm truly sorry to have to write this review. The office staff is kind, and Dr. Wong herself is friendly and caring on a personal level. Unfortunately, my experience with her as a surgeon was devastating. My journey started in December 2024. What should have been a straightforward bunion correction turned into a nightmare. She performed two botched surgeries that left my foot far worse than where I started. After the second failed surgery, I sought out three other surgeons for opinions. All three confirmed that the lapiplasty procedure was not warranted in my case--it is not a new procedure (as I thought) and none of the three surgeons perform the procedure. And worse, it's the most painful bunion surgery with the longest recovery time. That crucial information was never explained to me beforehand. Because of her surgical mistakes, I endured two additional surgeries to fuse the toe, reconstruct my arch, and cut three metatarsal bones to correct my gait. In total: two years, four surgeries, three plates, and twenty screws. During this time, I spent the majority of two years in a boot. My back, hips, and knees all suffered from the constant imbalance. The lapiplasty plates were very painful on the surface. During the 4th surgery, the surgeon removed the hardware, one screw had protruded so much it was poking through my skin. Several others were stripped and loose. This entire experience has been painful--physically, emotionally, and financially. For these reasons, I cannot in good conscience recommend Dr. Wong for surgical procedures. Dr. Han was present for both of my surgeries with her, so I also cannot recommend him. read more

Clean office. Front desk was a bit different from other offices. A few helpful young men, and a lady who seemed confused. I was checked in quickly and called back at my appointment time. Dr Han was very nice, and explained things very well. Check out was confusing but I got out with some stuff for my toenails. I didn't buy the orthotics. He clearly explained treatment options and what I could expect during recovery as well as the ultimate quality of life benefits. I sincerely appreciated the pleasant, accessible manner in which he presented very detailed information. The key question about a patient's experience with a surgeon: "Would you go back to this Doctor?" Not only would I...but I did...for surgery on my other foot. As a retired Marine whose occupational specialty demanded extensive mobility by foot, I am now experiencing the after effect of subjecting my feet to years and miles of pounding the ground. About six months ago, I notice a bunion forming on my right foot. It has now grown in size to the point where I am having difficulty running or walking for exercise. I then decided to seek the assistance of a podiatrist. I met with Dr. Han on 3 November 2023. During our interview, I asked a lot of questions that pertained to my aching foot. He provided me with very thorough explanations for all of my concerns. He did so in a lay language that I could understand. He provided me with valuable information and options to consider in fixing my immediate medical condition. I was impressed with the manner in which he would explain the various options available to me without feeling that he was steering me in any direction. He was very polite, good natured, friendly and had a very professional appearance. The office looked very impressive, organized and clean. The medical assistant was very friendly and helpful in preparing my meeting with Dr. Han. The X-Ray technician was also very friendly and courteous. He ensured that I was comfortable and relaxed while performing his X-rays. I was very pleased that I had selected Dr. Han to help me solve my medical problem. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking assistance of a real professional. read more

I had an apt with Tri City Podiatry a couple weeks ago and I was very impressed with Dr. Amy Wong. She took the time to listen to what I was dealing with regarding my feet pain. She asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood what and where my pain was. She gave me a lot of helpful information, including a list of shoes that would help with my pain, a referral to a physical therapist, and exercises to do to help with my pain. Dr. Wong was professional, and also personable. I'll for sure return to the office because of her. The only thing that I would say that the office could really improve on is updating the actual office. It is definitely older and looks/smells like it. If they were able to renovate the office (new flooring, paint, cabinets, etc) then the building would match the service received. read more

If I could give this podiatrist less than one star I certainly would. My aunt went in today for a second visit for a fractured toe with gout that set in to the toe. This has been a very painful situation. So went back today and had X-rays done to see where we were. Dr Hans suggested she get a cortisone shot. She said that she had had them before in her knee and it was painful and that she didn't think she could stand it in this toe that is still very painful. He said that he would be doing a novocaine shot so she wouldn't feel it. She was still not convinced but he pushed and pushed so she finally consented. He put in the novocaine which was fine. He then went in with a giant needle. He couldn't get it in the crevice a the bend of the tow and was pulling the tow up and he kept twisting it and she was screaming please stop. This is terrible. PLEASE STOP PLEASE STOP. He refused to stop. She actually cried. My aunt gets dental work done without novocaine so this was truly bad. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR REFUSES TO LISTEN TO THE PATIENT???? What gives him the right to violate her wishes??? This place is a dump. They have no working bathroom the doctor is unprofessional and I would warn everyone DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE. EVER!!!!! Next stop....reporting this to the board who can do something about this violation! read more

When I met Dr. Han at first I thought he would be someone I liked to work with. However, that quickly faded when I began to realize he either lacked confidence, or was incompetent. I never went to a podiatrist in my life and never had any foot pain ever. I explained the onset of the pain and that it has been disrupting my sleep - and over the course of a few days I was exhausted, stressed and concerned since i had never experienced this before. I was hoping Dr Han would perform a treatment the day of the appointment since it was obvious that i was in severe pain, acute onset, never before experienced. I left the appointment without a single recommendation to relieve the pain. I asked about lidocaine spray to use on my foot in the middle of the. night, I asked about other bacteria or viral infections that may be an issue, etc. I was very clear that the pain was sudden and never happened before. No other changes in my health within months prior to this happening. I left and was in such pain that I called Scripps and had an appt down the road the next morning. Thank god i went to Scripps - they actually tried to figure out what was going on. The Dr gave me a nerve block and by the evening I was in relief and was able to sleep through the night for a few days. Dr Han did write a Script for an MRI that i drove over to IHS and dropped off the hour after my initial appt, then called IHS to provide my insurance. I called them a week later and they said they were waiting on paperwork from Dr Han's office. I called my insurance and they said they had tried to contact Dr Han's office for two weeks without reply because they needed the appt information to decide if they would authorize the MRI. Tricity had 2 - 3 weeks to reply to my insurance company before leaving on their two week holiday break. Meanwhile, I was desperately waiting, hoping to get within a month as this pain was new, acute, and very painful without any explanation of how to manage the pain. I returned to Dr Han who again refused to perform a nerve block yet charged me for a regular office visit that I got absolutely nothing out of. He also charged me for an office visit when I went to pick up a CD of my xrays, and after waiting for 30 min he told me he did not have the CD burned. What was I billed for? It's very strange to be very clear in communication with a medical professional, and after multiple appointments the provider does absolutely nothing. He talks and spends time but there is no actual care provided. It's the most lazy, unprofessional office I have ever been to. He seems easy going but provides zero competence as a podiatrist. read more

Dr Han operated on my foot to correct a bunion 5 days ago. I had my follow-up today and all indications are that the surgery went perfectly. I am not in any pain and if my foot continues to heal the way it's supposed to I should be running and bike riding in about 6 weeks. And I'll be able to wear nice shoes again Dr. Han is very pleasant. He explains things very well and answers all questions without leaving me feeling rushed. His assistant and the office staff are also very pleasant and efficient. read more

I went in initially for what was suspected as plantar fasciitis. One month later, not doing much better and after two xrays, I ended up getting MRI. I decided to seek second opinion to try to get back to being able to work, and made an appt( paid $45) to go in and fill out medical transfer record request. I was told they could fax( free)or I could pay $10 to get my own records. . I wanted to make sure records were sent that day , as I had appt the following day with new doctor. I emphasized the importance and was assured " no problem. Now, at new DR and of course, no records sent and their office is closed for holidays. So now, I am spending money again to have MORE XRAYS. If 0 stars was an option then that's what I would give this place. My husband made an appointment a month ago. Took the day off of work. And he got there and realized he accidentally left his insurance card at home. The witch who is in the front just stared at him. He tried asking if he could have me take a picture or email it or come get the card and go back for the appointment. She kept saying nope nope nope. So I call trying to plead with her to please see him. And she wouldn't even let me talk she just kept screaming "ma'am" louder and louder . They never called or emailed or texted to remind him of the appointment and maybe toss in there "remember to bring your insurance card". Especially if it's so damn important to them. It's a shame. Horrible horrible customer service. No compassion. No flexibility. No nothing except copious amounts of witchy sass. read more

Dr. Han is wonderful. Actually takes time with you, looks you in the eye when talking to you and explains everything very thoroughly. Laid out all of my options before moving forward, did not pressure me into any of them. We went with Surgery and the day of the surgery I was feeling a little discomfort at home and he took the time to not only call me, but when he got my voicemail he took the time to give me suggestions to relieve my discomfort Instead of just telling me that he was sorry to have missed me. All in all, I love his bedside manner which to me as the patient is very very important. I will be recommending him to many. read more

Office people seemed OK but they would not/could not handle my insurance billing. Repeated calls to their insurance billing people resulted in NO ACTION. I believe insurance was never even filed, as there has been no EOB at all. Insurance lady from the billing office named Marie or Maria keeps promising I will get a check. just got my bill from taking my daughter here and it reminded me of how bad of an experience we had. First of all the office is so outdated and there's carpet all throughout?? There was stains on the ceiling and carpet and on the chairs which was disgusting! We got there earlier but we still waited almost half an hour just to go back and the staff were just rude and clueless! They definitely overbook their patients and don't care about their time. On top of all this, Dr. Han was a creep and kept making inappropirate comments towards my daughter and myself!! I got Larry Nassar vibes from him which is why I'm making sure I tell all my friends about what a terrible experience we had..I already left a complaint to my insurance company about him. Made a last minute appointment with Dr. Han and the receptionist squeezed me in. It was my first time and I was dreading the visit and what kind of dry doctor I would meet. I was pleasantly surprised by the young Dr. Han who really made the most of my visit. He educated me on my issue, gave me treatment options, prevention tips, and even natural things I could try. I absolutely loved my visit and Dr. Han! Most podiatrists are old and corporate-like, don't spend the time to get to know their clients and are just plain lacking social skills. Dr. Han is funny, kind, smart, and up-to-date with his practice. The staff is great as well, offering warm smiles and good vibes. Would highly recommend. read more

I'm sorry another person didn't feel he was well served as I've been going to this group for almost 10 years. As I've learned to know Dr. Han I've observed that he has been exceptionally well trained and did his residency at, among other places, Tri-City Hospital. It is my understanding that he did a general surgery residence beside specializing in Podiatry. I've discussed both podiatric as well as general medicine with him and find him very well versed. He's also very polite and I find his office staff both competent, friendly and well organized. That's my $.02 and I'm sticking to it. :) read more

This was the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been to. Clerical staff were disorganized, rude, and incompetent. The medical aids/techs hardly seemed trained as they fit me in an ill fitting boot which was never properly rectified. My cast moldings (completed by an aid on her first day!) had to be re-done and were only made for my hind foot, not even where my injury was. Dr. Han used the cheapest orthotic company avaliable. Dr. Han and his office staff do not provide quality care. My experience at another podiatrist office has been a total 360, illuminating the amazing potential of services available out there.
