Problem is, after 1000 reviews, it's not also easy to recall an experience, but this is what I recall about this place. The service wasn't friendly. Although I wouldn't go as far to call it rude, but the guy did act like our business was interrupting him. They had a homemade salsa that was better than anything you would buy in a retail store. They also sold something I can recall the name of, but it was chicken fat and my dog loved it I put it in a pot with water and simmered it into a broth and she was in doggy heaven. I also bought a pack of hot links that were probably closer to a spicy chorizo than traditional hot link. Since the business appeared to my Mexican/Latino, that just makes sense. Ive been back to Olympia and honestly regretted forgetting about this place, because my dog really loved the chicken fat and I haven't seen anyone local to me that sells it. Pricing here was also fair. Nothing was cheap, but nothing was overprice either. Short of the sour attitude, it would have been a win, 4 star for sure.

Spend 7 months in the pouring down rain/cold and in the heat to produce great beef for our customers. In 2025 Home Meats stole 100s of pounds of meat from us and our customers. Sure they had botched paperwork, but if you see the packages you'd know there is no way the meat we were given was from our 1000+ lb 2 year old cow.
