My husband and I are used to meat markets nearby and we immediately noticed that this place smells so much better. They have a wide range of meats. They have a little grocery section with various sodas and desserts which are incredible. Try this place out. You will not be disappointed!

I got loads of ground beef, ground pork, and steaks because I do so much meal prepping. We got it all frozen, probably spent well over $300. Everything in our entire order was rancid. Brown and smells absolutely god awful. I've waited many months to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if any of it was good. It was not. I even went to Stewart's meats out in Roy (where we normally buy big meat packages from) and did a test trial. Let them defrost in the fridge for a day or so. Northwest meats was brown and had a foul odor, Stewart's meats was juicy with blood and no odor at all. Conclusion made. They sold us rotten meat. Not cool for the food industry. Have some standards. That could have made someone really sick had they not known and eaten any of it.

Problem is, after 1000 reviews, it's not also easy to recall an experience, but this is what I recall about this place. The service wasn't friendly. Although I wouldn't go as far to call it rude, but the guy did act like our business was interrupting him. They had a homemade salsa that was better than anything you would buy in a retail store. They also sold something I can recall the name of, but it was chicken fat and my dog loved it I put it in a pot with water and simmered it into a broth and she was in doggy heaven. I also bought a pack of hot links that were probably closer to a spicy chorizo than traditional hot link. Since the business appeared to my Mexican/Latino, that just makes sense. Ive been back to Olympia and honestly regretted forgetting about this place, because my dog really loved the chicken fat and I haven't seen anyone local to me that sells it. Pricing here was also fair. Nothing was cheap, but nothing was overprice either. Short of the sour attitude, it would have been a win, 4 star for sure.

Immediately. As one does with fresh clams. I pulled out probably 10 or 15 that we're open And then when I cook them per protocol like I have in the past I got a strong metallic discussing taste when I ate it the first two It would be nice to get a refund for this. I might call tomorrow because that's bullshit like you don't sell somebody expired food just because you need to get it off the shelf and make a penny off of it and I was considering buying my food from here cause by local right it's the Washington Way but Stuart's meats is where I will stay because they haven't tried to kill me yet Let me all remind you that if you eat expired or bad clams, you can get pseudomonas which is a deadly bacteria or salmonella.
