For this animal lover, I really enjoyed the ranch located here in Fort Wilderness campgrounds. It's a bit of a trek from parking since we took the "orange" bus route but loved every bit of it. Our 15 month old daughter, who also loves animals, got to see beautiful and majestic Clydesdales that are even larger than life in person. We came just in time to see three of the horses being given their baths. I had to resist the urge to pet them since all horses are just for looks and not to be pet. They even have on display some of the riding gear and a carriage along with ability to walk around some of the stable areas to see them. I wish our daughter was old enough to experience the pony rides but that we be a trip next time when she is older. Loved it here and wish I could be one of the caretakers.

    Trail riding today!

I came here just to pet some horses. You can't pet any of them unless you are going on a ride. This place is very over hyped.

Our feet needed a break and we didn't have an issue securing an outside table. My primary complaint is the space needed more maintenance. Tables were dirty and we had to clean ours. The place itself is darling at first, very storybook and charming, but my goodness, it does get crowded and noisy. Not quite the relaxing little break I was hoping for. I do enjoy a bit of whimsy, but I also enjoy being able to hear myself think! I tried the buffalo chicken flatbread pizza, and while it sounded lovely, it didn't quite live up to expectations. It had a bit of a kick, which I appreciated, but the flatbread was a touch dry and the flavors didn't really come together the way they should. Now those black garlic truffle Parmesan fries--oh my, those were the highlight! Crispy, flavorful, and just indulgent enough to make me smile. I'd come back just for those, truth be told. As for the Sprite, well... it was cold and fizzy, just like you'd expect. Though I must say, paying that much for a simple drink made me chuckle a bit. All in all, it's a fine place to rest your feet and grab a bite, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it again. A solid 3 stars from me.

From the amazing staff in the roaring Fork quick service.; her name is Carolina, she displayed exceptional guest service to the highest level. She assisted my mom and I make coffee choices as well as she told me I had a cute hat. I mentioned she could find the hat in animal kingdom. We also dined at Roaring Fork last night and I had a great Mediterranean salad with chicken. After eating at roaring Fork, we went out to gyser point for some late refreshments and snacks, which I will be doing a separate review for those. The cast members to mention are Josh the chef, Anna the server from geyser point, and Josh the bartender from Geyser Point. The hotel grounds around the property are serene and have a calming quality. 10/10 Definitely recommend this stay cation

Safety NOT First at Disney?…read more It's midnight on day 1 of our 13 person biennial vacation with extended family and the fire alarm for our hotel just went off. My family, as well as the large group of guests that we evacuated with, ended up with traumatic experiences for our kids, a crowded/dangerous escape route, and an impression that safety came second here at Disney World. Upon hearing the fire alarm, my wife and I grabbed our still sleeping kids and headed to the closest stairway for our 4th floor room. The stairway was backed up with the large number of other people attempting to use it and it was here, where in addition to the loud repetitive klaxon alarm, we first heard an automated message repeatedly announcing "An emergency has been identified in the building." This seemed to give what was happening a bit more urgency and pushing among the group. When we eventually managed to evacuate from the hotel, we were met with a large group of guests standing immediately outside the building in the 41 degree temperatures with their own crying kids and no hotel employees. The group started moving away from the building, and a few minutes later, started getting sprayed by landscaping sprinklers that were set on timers. ~10 minutes after the fire alarm started, the only employees we did see outside were a person hosing down the pool area and an employee leaving the closed for the night Geyser Point Bar and Grill carrying what looked like a bag of food for themselves. The "friends," standing outside of the loud flashing building in the cold with their crying kids, were now none of their concern and not as important as their food or pool washing duty. About 15 minutes after the alarm started, people started hunkering down at the Raging Forks Bar and Grill when the first employee showed up and very quietly informed us that the fire department was enroute and to hang out. A separate employee came to turn on the heat lamps but before those worked, we were allowed back into the hotel. My disappointment isn't that there was a midnight fire alarm, it's that as people's kids were having a scary experience at "the happiest place on earth," Disney rather than showcasing their contingency training and focus on their "friends," was quiet as a mouse.

They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.

My husband and I got lucky that they were our first tasting when looking for our wedding caterer; we tried their crab cakes, salmon cucumber rolls, NY strip steak with chimichurri, mahi mahi with coconut curry sauce, plantains and ratatouille. Everything was absolutely perfect, both during our tasting back in 2021 and at our wedding this past weekend. The steak had a beautiful pink inside and an amazing grill charr on the outside. The coconut curry sauce permeated the mahi mahi and our veggie sides were incredibly fresh tasting. I also have to mention we almost forgot to ask for a vegan, gluten free option for one of our guests but Jean and LaFronza were super accommodating with our request. I can't say enough good things about the food, I am honestly amazed at how they were able to bring everything from Orlando to Indialantic and cook it to perfection. I wish we lived in Florida, but we will absolutely hire them again whenever we have another event there. TLDR: 10/10, highly recommend!

Escape with Horses is a special place. The owner, Jessica, is warm and knowledgeable and eager to share her love of horses. She has tailored a wide variety of services - lessons (you can sign up for 30 or 60 minutes), yoga at the barn, team building activities, pony camp, painting with horses, and more, for children and adults alike. Everyone who works here is patient, kind, and fun. The horses themselves are a delight. They are Paso Fino horses, so they feature different gaits then "normal" horses, and that adds to the fun. The trainers assess your skill level and pair you with a horse that you will enjoy - whether it's your first time riding or a seasoned rider. I've taken lessons here since January, and they're my most treasured time of the week. I've also done yoga on Sundays, which is a treat in itself. Yoga is hosted among the magnolia trees next to the pasture and riding arena - being in this unique atmosphere takes my practice to the next level. To book a lesson, party, or team building activity you need to call Jessica directly - the phone number is on the website. To book yoga there is an event booking site, which can usually be found on Escape with Horse's Instagram page. Escape with Horses is one of the best kept secrets in the Orlando area!
