For this animal lover, I really enjoyed the ranch located here in Fort Wilderness campgrounds. It's a bit of a trek from parking since we took the "orange" bus route but loved every bit of it. Our 15 month old daughter, who also loves animals, got to see beautiful and majestic Clydesdales that are even larger than life in person. We came just in time to see three of the horses being given their baths. I had to resist the urge to pet them since all horses are just for looks and not to be pet. They even have on display some of the riding gear and a carriage along with ability to walk around some of the stable areas to see them. I wish our daughter was old enough to experience the pony rides but that we be a trip next time when she is older. Loved it here and wish I could be one of the caretakers.

    Trail riding today!

I came here just to pet some horses. You can't pet any of them unless you are going on a ride. This place is very over hyped.

From the amazing staff in the roaring Fork quick service.; her name is Carolina, she displayed exceptional guest service to the highest level. She assisted my mom and I make coffee choices as well as she told me I had a cute hat. I mentioned she could find the hat in animal kingdom. We also dined at Roaring Fork last night and I had a great Mediterranean salad with chicken. After eating at roaring Fork, we went out to gyser point for some late refreshments and snacks, which I will be doing a separate review for those. The cast members to mention are Josh the chef, Anna the server from geyser point, and Josh the bartender from Geyser Point. The hotel grounds around the property are serene and have a calming quality. 10/10 Definitely recommend this stay cation

Good location, great price for a Disney deluxe…read more This hotel is a Magic Kingdom area hotel but you have to take a boat. However, after MK fireworks, the boat is infinitely faster than the monorail to the TTC. So if you're here for fireworks and want a hotel that's easy to get to but cheaper than the monorail hotels, this is for you. The theming is also beautiful. It reminds me of Animal Kingdom Lodge in the richness of the theming. There's a 9 am tour of the resort to learn about the art. I didn't take it but that tells you how much amazing art there is. There is a splash pad and two pools. Pretty standard for a Disney resort. The rooms are beautiful and if you're lucky you will have a view of the castle and can watch the fireworks from your room. We stood off floor 6 and watched from a hotel window. It was pretty epic. Even rope dropping the boat was pretty quick and not super busy. It actually is a pretty convenient mode of transportation. I would definitely stay here again.

They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.

I walked into Slim Chickens with dangerous levels of optimism…read more Big mistake. Before going, I watched a video on their website where the founders were talking about how, when they came up with the concept, they noticed other chicken tender places in the South "weren't doing it right." Now, they didn't say Raising Cane's by name, but come on. We all know who they were side eyeing. And as lifelong Cane's lovers, that got my attention. Because if you're going to throw shade at Cane's, the food better come out swinging. It did not! It came out dry, bland, and exhausted, with a texture that somehow managed to be overcooked and underwhelming at the exact same time. I didn't know you could ruin a chicken tender. I thought chicken tenders were one of those foods with a built-in safety net. Apparently not. Slim Chickens found the trap door. Then came the sauces. I asked the cashier what sauces he recommended since it was our first time. His response was basically, "I don't really like the sauces." That should have been my cue to turn around and go find literally anything else to eat. I tried the Slim's Sauce, which he described as ketchup and mayo with some herbs. That description was unfortunately accurate. It tasted like someone tried to reverse-engineer a good chicken sauce from memory while trapped in a break room. It was flat, boring, and nowhere near the level of Cane's sauce or even KFC's sauces. The garlic toast was another crime scene. Thin, wrinkled, cold Texas toast that looked like it had been toasted earlier that morning and then left to think about its choices. Calling it "garlic bread" feels generous. Calling it "bread" was already a stretch. The fries were those fake "hand-cut" freezer-section fries with the skin left on, like they're trying to convince you somebody in the kitchen actually touched an actual potato that morning. They were hard, overcooked, and tasted like they had been holding on for dear life under a heat lamp since opening. Not rustic. Not fresh. Just sad fries wearing a costume. And the atmosphere? Weekday lunch in Celebration, and there were maybe two people eating inside. That should have told me everything. A chicken tender place at lunch should have some life to it. This felt like a franchise location already rehearsing its goodbye speech. The funniest part is Yelp has this place sitting around 4 stars, but when you actually scroll through the reviews, there's a suspicious little cluster of glowing 5-star posts from "Elite" Yelpers around the same time. Maybe they all just happened to have the best chicken experience of their lives in the same week. Maybe.... All I know is what we were served was nowhere close to 5 stars. It was barely close to lunch. If the founders really built this concept because they thought other chicken places were "doing it wrong," I have some bad news: Raising Cane's can sleep peacefully tonight. KFC too. Slim Chickens didn't reinvent chicken tenders. They reminded me how badly simple food can go when nobody in the building seems excited about it. With Cane's expanding all over the place, this location better figure something out fast. Because if this is the product, I don't see Celebration celebrating it for long. I'm giving two stars, and honestly, those stars goes to the cashier for telling me he doesn't really like the sauces. That was the most helpful and accurate thing served to me all day.

My husband and I got lucky that they were our first tasting when looking for our wedding caterer; we tried their crab cakes, salmon cucumber rolls, NY strip steak with chimichurri, mahi mahi with coconut curry sauce, plantains and ratatouille. Everything was absolutely perfect, both during our tasting back in 2021 and at our wedding this past weekend. The steak had a beautiful pink inside and an amazing grill charr on the outside. The coconut curry sauce permeated the mahi mahi and our veggie sides were incredibly fresh tasting.
