Although we expected a complete and professional service. If Alex did NOT know how to cut his type of hair, he should have NEVER accepted my brother as a client & charge him. To have introduced another place to cut his hair, why enter Creative Cuts? Unprofessional. We have always gone to barbers. Calling to solve the problem, the manager is currently on vacation & no one can help. With school starting in a week, we now have to address the haircut ourselves. The business should take responsibility by arranging a correction with an experienced barber or issuing a refund. I'm also concerned about how the situation has been handled and respectfully request that management review the matter. The first photo is what he normally gets. The following photos are what he came home with AFTER receiving the "professional" haircut representing Creative Cutz. Honestly where was the effort, it was his first time there. The last photo is what we/ I expected. As these are his natural haircuts, Please explain, why was no care given? Sorry the photos display out of order, however i did write details in each photo to show the bad haircut vs the good ones he received at other barbershops just fine.

Mike's Barber Shop has a nice barber shop feel. They have the big chairs lined up and everything. It is nice if you are looking for that feel! Checking out was quick and easy. I paid at the front and they actually gave me two passes to a movie at Metro Movies, which is in the same shopping center! Just left our first appointment here with owner Eddie. I found this barber shop on Yelp after…read morewanting a better cut for our son than the standard "great clips" cut he had been getting. After reading reviews here with how they were specialized in children with special needs, I was impressed. Although our son is not special needs, and actually tends to sit really well for a toddler, I thought to myself they must be good with children here if that was the case. Any barber shop who goes the extra mile to get "Autism certified" and have a special place for families who need this service, must be a good person in my book. I called on a Monday to schedule an appointment (which I was surprised they were open on a Monday). Owner, Eddie, fit us in on my day off on the following Wednesday morning. (Ended up finding out that he also fit us in on his typical day off before he left for vacation the next day, which also was another super kind thing to do!) He was extremely friendly and professional. Gave my 3.5 yr old son a fantastic haircut, and was so so kind and patient with him! Eddie had a tv for something to keep him occupied and a special seat for kids, that showed he was well prepared for handling this age group. He started by giving my son a high five, which was cute and broke the ice for my son who started off shy. I like that Eddie asked me first before he offered my son a lollipop at the end. I came in here at 9am and there were two other barbers in there with clients. They both smiled at my son, and I didn't feel any awkwardness whatsoever as some other reviews mentioned, especially as a female coming in, no less one with a child in a barber shop (which I could imagine may kill the vibe in a "guys space"). We felt welcome. Eddie told me that usually Sundays are the day that he dedicates the shop for kids cuts, or early mornings. Which I could completely understand and appreciate wanting to keep the vibe appropriate for both kids and grown men at different times. I love how "cool" my son feels with his big boy haircut now lol. We will definitely be back. It was slightly more pricey than Great Clips, but well worth it to me. I would 10/10 recommend!

You have there free parking in front and in the back of the salon which is so convenient when it is snowing or raining. I'm giving you all this data because there are 3 barber shops in this 2-block area and I want you to get to the Best Barber Shop in Wallingford whether you are awake or walking in your sleep. You will have committed a grave error if you enter the wrong salon. There, as in Z's butcher shop in Hartford, where he is afraid to get his own hair cut by his fellow employees, you will not get your hair cut, rather you shall be fleeced like a helpless ewe and regret it for a whole month until your hair grows back and you finally go to Central Barbershop for damage control. Do you know what you really get at Central? You get an European stylish haircut tailored to your preferences. My barber there, who is the owner, immigrated from central Europe. He will start cutting your hair until you tell him, in simple terms, how you wanted cut. I used the same answer I used when I was stationed in Thailand and in Japan: "After I leave your barbershop, i want people to think that my haircut was done two weeks ago!" My barber in Wallingford, CT., responded, "Gotcha!..." Now, do you want to accept my 5-star recommendation along with all the other 5-stars from so many satisfied customers who feel as I do and GO to Central Barbershop, or take Mr. Z.'s envious, trumpian opinion of one barber who doesn't trust his co-workers to give him an acceptable cut, and based on that, you go somewhere else to be fleeced? Remember what Forester Gump used to say, "STUPID as STUPID does! Silverio (SAM) B. {Yelp said that "this review is looking pretty epic! Nice! }
