I chose a bouquet based on the image provided, and none of the flowers were the same. About 1/3 of the flowers included looked like they had been dead for days. And when someone called to inform me that the case chosen would have to be switched (which I agreed to), the employee sounded stressed and unprofessional. I also wasn't expecting a service fee on top of a delivery fee. I will be ordering from somewhere else in the future, as I am upset that my great aunt who is recovering from surgery has these flowers instead of the sunflowers and daisies I originally chose. read more

Karen from Trevose Flowers is amazing! She is wonderful!! I have to look for a last minute florist for 5 bouquets and 5 boutonnières. I have an idea on the color and flowers i want already. When Karen heard it, right away she gives me her honest opinion, "The colors are not going to look anything to your theme when the photos come back to you." I have not put all those color combinations together and think bout how the photoshoot picture would come out with those colors schemes. After meeting up and having our discussions, she was able to help me settled a better and more beautiful bouquet. I love her idea! And look forward to seeing her works. She is definitely a trustworthy florist. If she thinks it wouldn't have a nice presentation, she would let you know her professional opinion. She is quite trendy and techy too. What a wonderful find. Needed flowers for my daughter's prom and since I didn't have experience with any florists in my area I found this place online and they're right down the street. We looked online and figured out what she wanted and I called the next morning. Never had a flower shop not try and upsell me before. Karen told me I didn't want the corsage that we had selected that we would probably prefer a hand bundle. And then went on to explain why. You don't get that with 1800flowers! She also suggested a different color flower and again explained why. As she could hear the hesitancy in my voice she suggested that my daughter and I come down to the shop with the dress and we could see firsthand. (Wow! Not a hurry up with your order so I can go back to whatever!) Later that afternoon we did just that and I have to admit she was right on all counts, the style, the flowers, and the color. Very personable woman and we chitchatted for a few while she was writing down the order. The big day arrived and I ran down to get the flowers and even though there were several parents picking up their kids flowers, she took the time to greet each by name and spend a moment with every parent wishing the kid a great time etc. My turn came and she not only remembered my name but also my daughters. We had only been there once and the receipt to pick up only had my last name. Great memory. The florist is super creative with her bouquet arrangements, very prompt with orders, and always kind and helpful. Worst flowers I ever received! Half the flowers were dying (like they were a week old), others were broken off and roses were miniature (full size roses were in the picture). I was looking to update my review on Trevose Flowers and I discovered I haven't written one yet. Go figure. Trevose Flowers is located in the same small shopping center, where my new found gem is, Roma's Market & Deli. This is a family owned shop that is fairly small, but carries a nice variety of fresh flowers and potted plants. They sell gourmet fruit baskets and balloons, although their selection of balloons could use some new additions. They have a nice gift selection for most any occasion. They have been in business for over 50 years. Why was I looking to update this unwritten review? My daughter sent me flowers for Mother's Day, which was nine days ago. The beautiful flowers came in a hand painted vase and the flowers are just starting to show signs of wilting. The daisies and the nanus glads are all still very happy to be alive. Anytime someone wires me flowers, I always hope they are coming from Trevose Flowers, because of their will to live. From the very beginning, at my first meeting with Karen in the shop, to our last minute changes due to weather, Trevose Flowers was just fabulous. Karen listened to my very loose and abstract ideas, and turned them into a solid reality. Everything, from our bouquets, to the centerpieces was flawless. Karen even re-lit the ballroom with candles for us, since we couldn't have our ceremony outside as planned. I ordered flowers for my mothers funeral from her grandchildren. They were a disgrace. Very small arrangement and the ribbon was very disheveled. Gram was written in marker not gold lettering. Flowers were dying. I paid 175.00. Every other arrangement there was vibrant and beautiful. And family told me the cost was no where 175. I didn't care about the cost. The flowers were for my mom. I wanted something beautiful and instead i got garbage. I was embarrassed. Very disappointed. I have dealt with them in the past and never had this problem. Will never use them again. Great place to pick up flowers, gifts, and cards. I was working late, and wanted to pick up my girlfriend some flowers, but most places I called were closing. When I called Trevose Flowers, however, the lovely woman there asked what I needed, and when I could stop by. She graciously stayed later than she normally does, and help me arrange some flower. Have worked around the corner from Trevose Flowers for the last 10 years, and have had occasion to both purchase and receive flowers from this shop. Unfortuantely, I have never been pleased with the quality of flowers. The arrangements I have received over the years are not very colorful, and the flowers often looked as though they were on their "last legs", upon arrival. Horrible flowers, dead looking and very sparse. Ordered the Teleflora Sweet Violet arrangement (Premium) for my mother on mothers day. I live in Florida. They arrived and my mother sent me the picture of the arrangement on the dining room table. OMG when I viewed the photo I was devastated. It had very few flowers and those it had were half dead. I have to photo to share and viewing it next to the one on line it is worlds away. Possible they have been in the business so long they are blind. It looked nothing like what I ordered. How disappointing a business who has any kind of good reputation or pride could possibly deliver such a arrangement of dead weeds.
