His office staff is efficient, kind and caring.. During one of my mother's appointments, Mrs. Sirota, who is her husband's receptionist, was kind enough to ask about my father's wellbeing. When she found out that he is becoming weaker and barely ambulatory and does not like to go out of the house, she mentioned that Dr. Sirota does home visits. I thought that was extremely kind and caring of her, and I am sure that if the time comes when Dad can no longer leave the house, they will avail themselves of this option. Nice to know that it's there for those who need it, and even nicer that Dr. and Mrs. Sirota take such a personal interest in their patients.

I have so many things to say about Dr. Lewis…read more I have been Dr. Lewis' patient for about a year. I originally went to see him about a broken toe. I was so impressed by his office, his staff, and his professional demeanor. After my X-rays were taken by his assistant, Dr. Lewis came in to review them with me. He explained my options, as well as my recovery process. Surgery was a success! Approximately 3 weeks ago, I missed a step, and broke my ankle. I was able to get in to see Dr. Lewis immediately. He made me comfortable (as the pain was excruciating), and put me on his surgery schedule immediately. I, now have pins stabilizing my ankle, and am still recovering, but I'm doing great! I broke my ankle in the midst of this crazy Covid-19 Pandemic, and was apprehensive about going into a hospital for surgery. (Here's where it gets good) My surgery had to be done under general anesthesia. Dr. Lewis cleared the entire operating room while the anesthesiologist intubated me, to keep me safe. He is the G.O.A.T of Foot/Ankle doctors in my opinion.

In the middle of a COVID-19 outbreak, I've been very careful about taking my elderly father to…read moremedical appointments. I've gotten used to the temperature checks and screening questions before we're allowed entry, the no-touch electronic check-in's and clean/dirty pens, my having to wait outside in the car while my Dad is seen. I am a registered nurse. At Motio yesterday there were no temp checks nor screening questions. The receptionists wore only face shields, not masks. A receptionist came within 2 feet of my seated father and talked as she handed him an iPad and stylus (I told her I wasn't comfortable with her being so close and she stepped back a little). I watched a patient come inside without a mask (the patient was asked once inside to don a mask). I later saw the same patient in an exam room talking with a staffmember while not wearing a mask. We ended up walking out without being seen by a doctor.

But suddenly, the practice was acquired by Upperline, and they no longer take my health insurance. It's very good mainstream PPO insurance, but I guess that Upperline is some kind of membership-only concierge treatment. The website is truly unclear about what it even is. All I know is that my 15-year doctor-patient relationship is over without even an email to let me know in advance this was happening or anyone explaining whether or how I could still see Dr. F. What poor business practices.
