I have so many things to say about Dr. Lewis…read more I have been Dr. Lewis' patient for about a year. I originally went to see him about a broken toe. I was so impressed by his office, his staff, and his professional demeanor. After my X-rays were taken by his assistant, Dr. Lewis came in to review them with me. He explained my options, as well as my recovery process. Surgery was a success! Approximately 3 weeks ago, I missed a step, and broke my ankle. I was able to get in to see Dr. Lewis immediately. He made me comfortable (as the pain was excruciating), and put me on his surgery schedule immediately. I, now have pins stabilizing my ankle, and am still recovering, but I'm doing great! I broke my ankle in the midst of this crazy Covid-19 Pandemic, and was apprehensive about going into a hospital for surgery. (Here's where it gets good) My surgery had to be done under general anesthesia. Dr. Lewis cleared the entire operating room while the anesthesiologist intubated me, to keep me safe. He is the G.O.A.T of Foot/Ankle doctors in my opinion.

Dr .Gideon Lewis used surgical hardware which actually was to big for her foot. These issues were to be observed by another local Podiatric surgeon. The new surgeon who corrected Dr. Gideon's "hack job" stated when performing the surgery to correct everything, that he could actually pull the screws and brackets that were all loose and he could pull the hardware out with his fingers. My wife used a bone stimulator as requested by Dr. Gideon, it didn't help heal her foot.THE PAIN WAS SO UNBEARABLE! SHE REQUESTED AN APPOINTMENT AFTER SURGERY AND DR. Chester Miltenberger is a great doctor, my wife and I have been coming to his office for over four…read moreyears. Usually everything runs smoothly and we are usually in & out in a flash. With that being said our last appointment with his office was everything but smooth, my wife had made an appointment for 9:15 am but she had to call the office to see if she could come in earlier than her appointment time and that is when the office staff said she could come in @ 8:30 meaning they could fit her in earlier. So we arrived at Dr. Miltenberger's office at 8:15 am my wife checked in with the front desk and then we waited in the lobby for her to be called back. What transpired while we were waiting for her name to be called was not acceptable because there were three to four people that we checked in before that had their names called and we're allowed to been seen before my wife was seen, which was not fair to my wife. She went back to the front desk to ask why there were several people taken before her when she had checked in first, and she was told that all the other patients had appointments that were before her appointment even though they told her that if she came in early she would been seen first. But they told her who ever told her that it was a guarantee that she would be seen first was wrong and that they were sorry for the wrong information. The office staff handled the situation in an unprofessional way because they had given wrong information which in my opinion is not good and they need to train their staff properly.
