I just got back from Vietnam not too long ago and let me tell you this is hands down the best pho in San Antonio! The owner is so so friendly! He took me to the kitchen showing me how he cook the broth. We had a chat about Vietnam and the food and different style of pho between north and south. At the end of my meal he brought out snacks and insisted on me taking a hand full of them! I believe this pho is only offered on weekends and make sure to ask for the mix. For a moment they thought I was ordering one of each This supermarket and cafe truly give you a Vietnam experience without the need to get on a plane. Highly recommend

It's great to have fresh Asian produce that's reasonably priced - i.e. $1.50-2.50 / lb for leafy greens. $2 for enoki mushrooms. There's also a strong seafood section with live fish. Location is super convenient off of I-35. Parking is easy. I come here once a month or so to restock my Asian groceries.

I loved the fact that there is an option to make your own. I was able to choose my base, 2 fruit options, and a veggie. I've been coming here for years, and thinking back I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. They have the friendliest staff ever and they are always super helpful when I can't find something. They truly go above and beyond and will even check the back for you when you are looking for something. One of my favorite things about Trader Joe's is their flower section. They have some of the freshest and most beautiful flowers, and they offer the best prices on flowers in San Antonio. I've compared them to local flower wholesalers and TJ still beats them. If you are buying a large amount of flowers make sure to get some of their free buckets which are located by the entrance to the store. It just makes it easier to transport all your flowers. Besides the amazing flowers, their unique seasonal items are always great. I love to discover new snacks or sauces that you can't find at other grocery stores. Normally, in grocery stores, they usually taste as if they were poured from the can with no doctoring. The brisket beans were flavorful. The star of the show was the meat. I like my sauce with vinegar but they were out do I got sweet on the side. Honestly, I didn't use the sauce. The meat was tender and well seasoned. I tasted the sauce and found it really good. Not overly sweet but just right. I probably would dip instead of pour if I decide to try it with the meat next time. So this meal cost me just over $20.
