Since that last unpleasant visit, I finished my little break. I went back and the service seems to have changed and the food has been great!!! Thank you for bringing back the good service and food. I still think the food is bland for my taste but realize that Mexicans must put a lot of salsa on their food dishes. That's what I've started doing 3 years ago and it works for me. read more

It's a family-run Mexican restaurant. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. Great portion size for the money. It's very tasty. Although I'm a gringo, it has a home-cooked vibe to it that I love. Try their location in Chubbuck! Equally 5-stars for the same reasons. Parking is more difficult, but it's okay. read more

Food is great, but there's a comment on another local Mexican joints reviews about itomized receipts... kind of shady to be honest not providing itomized receipts. Leads to the ability of raising prices 3 times a year the way tres Hermanos has. read more

Awesome food, burritos are getting a like pricey though. The spicy pork tacos are what we usually get, and depending on who rings you up the price always seems different. Other than that its a great spot. read more

We traveled 8 hours today. We setup our trailer and then headed here for dinner. We love Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The service was fast, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We will be back on our way home. The place was packed and people were coming and going the whole time we were seated. I definitely recommend. read more

How many times is too many times to go here in a weekend??! (asking for a friend..) WE LOVE TRES! My cousins moved to AF 10+ years ago and it has been a favorite of ours ever since. The chips and salsa are perfect. I would just live off of those things! I get the nachos, fajitas, tacos, burritos, and also the burgers!! I know, I know, hamburgers at a mexican restaurant, but they are SO GOOD! And the fries are great too! OH! I almost forgot--they have the BEST breakfast burritos. I dont know if they serve them all day, but you wont want to miss them read more

Tres Hermanos - Bacon burger, nachos & street tacos - Mexican Near Me - American Falls, Idaho

I created an account just for this so businesses can watch their workers! DO NOT GO HERE my husband and I were traveling through town last night and this is the first place we saw, food is great do not get me wrong, they have a fee for cards that's no big deal we are from California it's like that everywhere, but they charged me extra for taking my order?! Ridiculous what do I make it my self and go to the kitchen?! Waitress that took my order had an attitude and had very poor working skills as we were one of the only families in. sorry tres your food is good but overcharging is terrible. read more

EVERYTHING THEY SERVE IS AMAZING! They have the best salsa ever. I looooove their spicy pork tacos, they always come with plenty of jalepeños and carrots on the side. The nachos have always been a favorite of mine. The macho Burrito and chicken taquitos were my favorite before I had to stop eating gluten. Also, they make a better cheeseburger and fries than any American restaurant!! Always fast and friendly service. Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in town! read more

Tres reasons why Tres Hermanos gets quatro stars instead of cinco: Uno: The flavor of the food is pretty good. Not my very favorite, we ordered a chicken quesadilla and fried ice cream, but it's definitely affordable and not too shabby. I think they forgot to put the chicken in, so it ended up being simply a cheese and lettuce quesadilla. But you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here. Dos: The tables are cleaned and the floors are kept nice. It's nice that they really care about their presentation of their restaurant as a whole. You can either opt for a drive-thru, or there is a plethora of seating inside. Tres: The employee that helped was not as awesome as I would've wished. We really came for their chips and salsa but found out "you only get one chips and salsa per entree" and they weren't as happy and helpful as a person trying to up-sell their menu items should be. TIPS & TRICKS: * Like I mentioned before, chips and salsa are only available if you purchase an entree, no free refills. Kind of a bummer. No, actually a REAL BIG bummer. * If you want to go for simply chips and salsa, you can buy a bag for $3.75 and make your way home. read more

Very good. Authentic Mexican food that was full of flavor. Service was great. I will come back.

This place is good food for the price. It is arranged as a fast food place but if you sit at a table the staff will come take your order. So if in the American Falls area give them a chance. read more

We were longtime residents of AF then moved out of state for several years. Nowhere have we found cheese enchiladas or breakfast burritos that compare to Tres Hermanos! Every time we come back to AF, eating there is a priority. Small-town Idaho is lucky to have such great food! read more

The breakfast burritos are delicious and very big for a good price. The chicken taqitos are very good as well. Use cash only though!

Good food, but for some reason they never give me what I order. Luckily I'm not a picky eater, however it sucks when you're order a certain burrito and are given something different. read more

Huge portions. The burritos were HUGE. The Chili Relleno was not quite as I expected growing up in Southern California. We're used to egg battered and fried instead of a fried egg on top. If you're passing through, stop ands check them out. read more

This is a nice little Mexican restaurant. Who knew up here in Pocatello Idaho. You could find great Mexican food. Come up and check it out the carnitas Chile verde is spectacular read more

Food is delicious and great prices too. Our favorite is the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It's loaded with bacon and large enough to split between 2 people when you're not super hungry. The French fries are excellent, better than McDonalds forsure! Of course the traditional Mexican dishes are very tasty too. This is a family run business and worth the drive from the highway if you want a casual meal for a good value. read more

I was impressed with tres Hermanos friendly service. The food came out fast and tasted amazing.

This resturaunt is super good. I love the chips and salsa, and even tried to recreate this salsa. (I failed). The steak tacos are super good, and I love the flavor of all of the ingredients combined. The bathrooms are nasty, but at least the food is delicious. I wish that the horchata was made with milk, but it's still good. The employees are great, and the red sauce is WAYYY better than the green. 5 stars. I can't say less. read more

Tres Hermanos - a picture of a bottle of oil and a picture of a bug - Mexican Near Me - American Falls, Idaho

Taco salad is greasy, asked for extra meat got it but they took away salad to supplement it even though I paid more for it... Don't make much since but seriously don't think I can finish salad cause my lips are so caked with grease it's as if I'm eating carmex.... read more

Great mexican food, but that being said... It's also a great place for a burger and fries. You can also have a cold one as well. Best unknown burger! read more

The food is delicious and they have a variety of flavors! My favorite dish is the chicken molcajete. The owners are the best and I love to support a family business read more

On our way from Yellowstone back home to CA, we stopped here for lunch. There's not much in American Falls by way of restaurants, but don't let that fool you into thinking this one isn't up to snuff. The food was very yummy. Very local, very family, very good!!! I'm already looking forward to the next time I'm passing through American Falls so that I can eat here again. read more

This place is bomb and home to the best breakfast burritos in the world. Nowhere will ever beat them. You just can't get better than this hometown delicious Mexican food! Chips and salsa are killer and the service is always good. read more

Great food and very reasonable! Bi had the Pollo a la Diablo and thought It was delicious.

I used to eat here a lot but in the last year it is not good. Just tonight we thought to give it one more try and we were so disappointed. It took 25 min. to get our food in the drive through. I ordered a ground beef taco with a hard shell. When I got it home one block away the shell was so soggy that I fed it to my dog. At home I couldn't find the lettuce in my taco so I had to chop my own lettuce from my fridge to add. Tres Hermanos also didn't put in any hot sauce so I had to use my own hot sauce. The taco was the size of the 49 cent taco at Del Taco and Taco Time. But Tres Hermanos taco cost more than triple. My granddaughter got a macho burrito with steak. She said that there wasn't much steak, it was mostly filled with rice. It was quite expensive too. The burrito had sauce over it but yet not enough so the tortilla was pretty dry and hard. Tres Hermanos uses a microwave oven a lot with all the food. I have tried many of their other dishes and in the last year all of them have gone down hill. The portions are small and the food is put together haphazardly. I bought a tostado salad which is in a fried flour tortilla. There were no refried beans in the bottom. Only rice. They put lettuce, a sprinkle of cheese, a few dice tomatoes and a tablespoon of sour cream and then dill pickles on top. I didn't know that dill pickles were a Mexican food. I rather have chiles on top or avocado slices. So basically it was a rice and lettuce salad. I would not recommend this place. I am embarrassed to even bring a friend there to eat. I wish they would just make a few fresh dishes and they would have so much business it would be wonderful. read more

This is the second time in a couple of years that we have eaten here on our way up north. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and helpful. We were there early on a Saturday morning. I noticed the sign on the door saying that they offer menudo on Saturdays and Sundays, so my husband and I gave it a try. The bowl was huge! The broth was tasty, rich and complex. It was served with corn tortillas and chopped onions and cilantro on the side. They have indoor dining with every other table closed off for social distancing. Thank you for a filling and delicious experience. Next time we pass this way, we will be sure to come to this restaurant. read more

Great food, service, and value! I would have to say they even have the best burgers in town too!

The front counter, waiter, drive thru gentleman was AMAZING! He was busy and still friendly, fast and didn't miss anything. The food was delicious! Will come back! read more

Second time in the last month we have waited an entire hour after ordering for our food to arrive at the table. The kitchen is "backed up" is the only explanation. Neither time did either of our servers mention that it would take a long time to receive food and neither seemed concerned or surprised by the long wait. Can't recommend this restaurant if you are in a hurry or don't want to wait an hour to get in and another hour waiting at your table for dinner. read more

Good food and outstanding, super-friendly service. Chips were hot, fresh and crisp. Fajita burrito was great! Guacamole tasted long past its prime-only major detractor. read more

Very good food at an excellent price. Friendly staff and locals. Fast service for those on the road.

I'd like to give the place 4 1/2 stars, but this doesn't allow that. American Falls is a very small town so we weren't sure what to expect in eating establishments. When we asked, the lovely lady at the post office recommended this place. It is small, but do not let that fool you....the food we ordered was great. Initial service was friendly and fast with hot chips and a wonderful home-made, slightly spicy, chunky salsa brought to the table right away. We ordered chicken fajitas and could hear them being cooked up fresh in the back to the happy sounds of Latino voices in the back-ground. If the absolutely yummy chicken fajitas are any clue I wish we were going to be here longer to return and try more items on the menu. It's worth the stop and the prices are good as well. read more

Everyone in American Falls knows Tres Hermanos. They've made a name for themselves with their breakfast burritos and lunch items. The beef enchiladas are my favorite. Still the best Mexican food I've ever eaten and I've tried them up and down the states. The owner Jamie is also very good, and the staff is always friendly. Always look forward to seeing Javier at the counter. 5 stars! read more
