This business has been in Haverfordwest forever, and is run by a local family. Situated on Castle Square, right in the middle of town, this is the truly old-fashioned type of menswear retail, where they look at you when you walk through the door and can tell exactly what size you are (you almost expect them to say 'suits you sir' when they're measuring you up but don't worry, they don't!) They stock absolutely everything to do with menswear, and also provide formal suit hire. They provide men's clothing in short, regular and long fittings, and up to 56" Chest Measurement. They also stock school uniforms for the local schools, and have excellent customer service.

Having said that, I may have to take into account that I only buy clothes in London and I might see fashion with a different attitude. Perhaps it's not a good place for small women as I could not find anything that fit me - they seem to stock clothes for people in proper size only. Lots of good stuff for men though. I would say this shop is like Tenby's version of Oxford Street with less collection and less glamorous. Still, it's good to pop in when you are in Tenby, so many dainty stuff as a souvenir.

Ladies and gents clothes, jewellery and accessories are on the ground floor towards he back. Top brands are on offer, and prices are reasonable. There is a lovely gift selection, and the homeware departement has a good range of top brands and quirky unique items Theres also a selction of kids clothes and toys. Jago is the perfect shop for a small holiday town such as Tenby - it stocks unique, stylish items that can be found elsewhere, but not in such an attractive setting, with such a well maintained and controlled selection.

It spans 2 floors and you can spend ages browsing all the goodies on sale. Many of which you will not find in other shops. Their speciality if Steiff teddy bears and if you are a collector you must see their collection. At Christmas time they have a beautiful selection of Christmas decorations. Upstairs is a selection of womens and mens clothing. Staff are always on hand if you need advice or a hand choosing the perfect item.

You can get hooded jumpers for half price what you would pay in another shop. They don't just sell clothes they also sell: Belts, handbags, boots and various other things. They have a sale rail which you can even more bargains. There is a small changing room at the back of the shop that you can use if you want to try something on. The lady who works there is always really friendly and often gives you an extra discount if you're local. If she knows you or recognises you she will often hold items back for you ,then you can go back and buy them when you have some more money. The window displays are always good and they sell some great outfits for men and women. The only negative thing that I can say about the shop is that it is slightly smallbut it still has a lot in.

We visited the Barnstaple store this week to look for a suit for my husband to wear to our…read moredaughters wedding this summer and we were very surprised to find that men's suits are no longer stocked here now, apparently, there isn't enough room for suits now that the home department has been enlarged, I would rather order home lines online than have to keep ordering suits! but were told that suits are available online where we can order. Well, we prefer to come into a store and see things displayed, colours, style choices and sizes to try on at leisure. We don't want to order several suits online, we would much prefer to see them on sale in the store and I 'm afraid that we have bought a suit else where, off the peg! I am otherwise pretty pleased with Barnstaple store but for reasons being the 'suit issue' I can only give one star.

Chopes has been in Bideford for a long time and is situated in the High Street. There is a car park…read moreright behind it so the shop is quite often used by people to walk through to get into town. It sells mens and ladies clothing, underwear and pyjamas, gifts, kitchenware, bedding, knitting and sewing accessories plus material. The clothng in my opinion is for the older generation part from some of the underwear of which they stock an excellent range of makes. Most things tend to be a bit expensive but you can find a good bargain as they often have special offers through out the store.
