There are loads and loads of shops in the Quadrant like HMV, Game , W H smiths , Clinton cards and Debenhams. It can get pretty packed out with shoppers at peak times and especially with the run up to christmas. At christmas there is usually a lovely christmas tree with lots of decorations which make it look really nice. The shopping centre always looks clean and tidy and you will always find a cleaner pottering around.

Shops you find in every town in Britain. The Quadrant itself is quite pleasant though, it has a predominently glass roof which allows it to be very bright and airy inside. There's a gallery cafe which looks out on to the main concourse of the shopping centre which is great for people watching. The bus station also comes out of one end, so finding it is very easy, and also you won't have far to carry bags to get a bus. Or even to get to your car if you choose to park in the NCP which also adjoins the Quadrant. You can also get to Swansea Market via an entrance in the Quadrant. The largest store by far is Debehams, which is a large department store and takes up almost an entire wing of its own. ANECDOTE: I was sick on the doors of Debehams one Christmas as I was shopping for presents and very rapidly came down with a virus. There are public toilets (free) upstairs which are clean and well maintained. The buidling is decorated according to the seasons, and a large Christmas tree is the focus during the winter.

I have often bought things in the Edinburgh Woollen Mill here, The Works, Holland and Barrett and Thorntons and yesterday was no exception! Other shops include Poundland, TX Maxx, Card Factory, Store Twenty One, F. Hinds and Claire's. I couldn't find the wooden statue of Merlin yesterday which is supposed to stand here perhaps it has been removed for renovation or repair. Merlin's Walk is situated next to the bus station and there's a large car park at the Argos end too. Opening times: Mon-Sat: 9am 5.30pm Sundays: 10am 4pm (Late night shopping at Christmas)

The best part of Vincent Davies is the cafe, which is often very busy over the weekend. Eating outside is recommended on nice days, there are lovely views. The service in the cafe is often slow on the weekend but is noticeably quicker during the week - perhaps there are different staff during the week?

Vincent Davies is a shop and garden center on the outskirts of Haverfordwest. It is about two miles…read moreoutside of the town center and has a big car park. Although it is normally quite bus you can easily find spaces. Most of the shop is situated on the ground floor with good disable access, however the bedding furniture department is on the first floor but there is lift access if requested. Inside the shop is a collection of things such as crockery, kitchen items and gifts. All products are of a high quality and so the prices reflect this. However when there are sales on you can get things reduced by up to seventy per cent. At the back of the shop isa large furniture section-some of it handmade and a garden center. There is also a small restaurant that serves nice food including Sunday roast dinners for the family.

Anyway, Debenhams. I do like it, especially during the final days of their Blue Cross sale, when things go buy one get on free. Because of this, I managed to buy 4 bras for the princely sum of £12 - two of them the fairly pricey Miss Ultimo bras. I was impressed. I could spend ages in Debenhams, and more so now that the Benefit counter has expanded to include an eyebrow bar - now if the one in Leeds could just follow along with that, it'd be much appreciated!

There are many fashions available for all the family, including footwear, and plenty of accessories too, from bags and scarves to belts and jewellery. Something which let the store down for me was all the litter at the entrance. An umbrella stand is there for customer use but yesterday it was partly full of litter not an umbrella in sight. Lots of other messy litter was lying around on the floor inside the covered entrance which customers had to carefully step over. Not a good first impression when visiting this store!!
