Ohh, what a darling little store. This is the ultimate place to come for gifts, be they for kids, people with kids, friends or treats for your own self. The sis-in-law and I spotted the ultimate summer flowery dress here, it was timeless in style, like a little floaty prom type thing with a pattern worthy of Cath Kidston. Since we both spotted it, neither of us decided to take the plunge and try it, but goodness was it gorgeous. Here you'll find all sorts of little creative items such as purses, bags, clothing and a variety of accessories including jewellery. It's unique and it all looks home-made, sourced from independent designers. As well as this you can get some great goodies from the likes of Crabtree and Evelyn and it's as close as you can get to the main car park, thus it's always our first port of call when we're visiting the area. No 47 is one of the first places to go if you're looking for great gifts. It has a fantastic selection of jewellery, both from well known brands and local designers. There is a clothing section upstairs, along with a selection of designer handbags, whilst downstairs they have some unusual gifts for children, along with toiletries such as Crabtree & Evelyn. It's ideal for picking up stocking fillers too. Given its close proximity to the main car park, it's usually my first port of call when I visit Narberth, but it's also really handy for an emergency dash to find a last minute present that you can be proud of! read more

A wonderful shop in a beautiful town, great for gifts and clothing all year round. Not sure about the negative reviews posted, certainly not our experience. Maybe just a case of 'sour grapes'. read more

Although No 47 offers a variety of up market gifts and wares, I was very disappointed with the owner's attitude when I bought a friend a birthday present last Saturday. The previous day, I was assured by the female owner that all special purchases would be gift wrapped in appropriate paper. On Saturday, however, this was not the case, and a birthday gift I had bought for someone else was wrapped carelessly in a flimsy pink tissue paper by the gentleman who owns the business. This gave the impression that the gift was bought at a bargain store. read more

Super shop full of intriguing finds, from cards, jewellery to clothes and childrens' delights. I saw the best examples of mermaid blankets whilst visiting recently but didn't buy them at the time. On reflection I know I should have bought them for my nieces, and was able to pay over the phone and paid the small fee for postage - avoiding a long trip back to Narberth for me! I love the shop. Great gifts, lovely clothes and I have only experienced very helpful, friendly staff and owners and I come in quite regularly. What is wrong with pink tissue paper, I would be very happy with that. I am sure it would have been put in a nice paper bag as well. I absolutely love this shop, it has a bit of everything and the staff are really friendly and helpful. I bought some lovely pressies for friends when I visited last. The jewellery is to die for and I could loose several hours of my life in there! Narberth is a great little town and living in London it's so nice to find somewhere with such variety and so reasonable. No 47 is at the top of the high street and is at the top of my list of fave little shops! read more

my husband and I went to No47 to buy a friend a present.I found a jumper on the sale rail.My husband,who had been hanging around wilst I was looking,commented that they could swap or get credit note if it didnt fit.Anyway ,it didnt fit so my wife went ,with our 8 year old son ,to try and get a credit note,only to be told ,we dont give credit on sale items,as stated by the signs.I went upstairs with a member or staff and we eventually found a small "no exchange " sign.I told them I would go to trading standards.They said the owners werent there but would be back next week.We rang a few times and eventually the owner called back, saying I had threatened staff and they would not be refunding anything.What a really rude woman,claiming we were being aggressive and wriggling out of even offering a credit note as a good will gesture,so we are left with a £30 jumper going begging.So we are in touch with trading standards. read more
