After about 6 months after my first haircut with her, and the tips she's provided, my hair is low key thriving! Let's start off with location... She's located downtown Hayward off B Street. Although, parking kinda sucks, and it is the Main Street with so many cars, her place is so cute! Inside her place, there plenty of seating, and a lot of chairs available. For the most part, whenever I go see her, I'm probably the only other client inside - just incase you guys get nervous for Covid reasons. Nancy is so welcoming. She starts off asking you what you want to do with your hair, and she observes and starts framing your face to see if you would like it and gives out suggestions as needed. Then she washes your hair, and then she begins the cut. She's so knowledgable in the industry. She given me helpful advice on how to maintain my hair. For reference, I've always had to wash my hair daily because it's always getting so oily. So she's given me tips on how to prevent it. And after 6 months of following tips, and seeing what works for me, my hair is fuller, healthier, and thriving as I've mentioned. My hair is long, but it isn't completely straight like most common Asian hair. My hair had gotten to the point where I really needed a trim to get rid of a lot of the split-ends, but I didn't have time to drive all the way into SF (where I use to live before moving to Hayward) just to visit my usual hairdresser/stylist. I contacted Lien via text and she was super responsive. I was also able to schedule an appointment with her the next day during the afternoon. Not only that, Lien is super nice and friendly! She listened to my concerns about my hair and made sure everything was to my liking before I left. Great person and great service. I will definitely be contacting Lien as my go-to from now on!

In my search for wedding makeup artists, I am so glad that I found Michele and hired her to do my makeup and hair for my big day. My wedding was held at Bel-Air Bay Club since both my family and my fiancés family all live in So Cal. The thing that worried me the most was I lived in the Bay Area but all of my vendors were from Los Angeles. Hiring a makeup artist worried me the most because I didn't know how we would do a trial beforehand to see how the makeup and hair will look. So I went in with the mindset of "I'll figure it out as I go along" and decided to begin my search online. The first thing that caught my eye about Michele was her work. Seeing some of the before and afters on her website completely blew me away!! I knew I wanted her for my services....but I still wanted to see how her work would look on my face. After I contacted her, I learned that she used to live in the Bay Area and had a wedding scheduled to be at in the next week. I was able to schedule my trial for the same weekend and it worked out great. Seeing her work firsthand was an amazing experience. I wear makeup on a daily basis, but she made me realize why the pros are the pros. She has multiple palettes with endless colors and all types of foundations. It was like I was in a makeup store. She completely transformed me and I just couldn't stop looking in the mirror. My fiancé just kept looking at me and complimenting my beauty - that was the best feeling ever. I put down my deposit and hired her right away. On the day of my wedding, Michele showed up early and was very professional. Her personality is so calming. Just having her around made the day fun and relaxing. She finished everything on time and my family was blown away by how I looked. I was ready to cry and Michele said, "Don't worry, your makeup is waterproof so cry all you want". She definitely knows how to put a smile on everyone's face. I recently got married in LA. I had a mixed british-Pakistani wedding. I needed a makeup artist who would understand the right blend of both. I didn't want pakistani nor American bridal makeup but somewhere in the middle of both. I explained this to Michele and she made me so comfortable when I talked to her that I booked her before my trial. The trial date has come and her make up was beyond my expectations- I was so impressed. After that I was much more relax for my wedding day. Not only that but on my wedding day because it was outdoor we had to do slight time changes to accommodate weather and even though Michele has another appointment before me she did everything to make it happen. My wife booked Michele for her bridal hair and makeup and it turned out to be one of the best experiences. We were both pretty stressed out about the wedding and all the vendors involved , but Michele handled the makeup part of the wedding without making it stressful on us at all. I remember my wife was pretty worried about makeup and hair at first and after her trial she was comfortable. I loved her makeup too. It wasn't caked on and looked natural. I remember after the wedding I had a hard time convincing her to take her makeup off and get to bed. Michele was so great my sister booked her for her wedding. She's easy to work with and listened to what my wife wanted. She consistently checked in to make sure I felt good about the direction we were heading, which made the experience feel collaborative and reassuring.
