After about 6 months after my first haircut with her, and the tips she's provided, my hair is low key thriving! Let's start off with location... She's located downtown Hayward off B Street. Although, parking kinda sucks, and it is the Main Street with so many cars, her place is so cute! Inside her place, there plenty of seating, and a lot of chairs available. For the most part, whenever I go see her, I'm probably the only other client inside - just incase you guys get nervous for Covid reasons. Nancy is so welcoming. She starts off asking you what you want to do with your hair, and she observes and starts framing your face to see if you would like it and gives out suggestions as needed. Then she washes your hair, and then she begins the cut. She's so knowledgable in the industry. She given me helpful advice on how to maintain my hair. For reference, I've always had to wash my hair daily because it's always getting so oily. So she's given me tips on how to prevent it. And after 6 months of following tips, and seeing what works for me, my hair is fuller, healthier, and thriving as I've mentioned. She also sells products in house just in case you want to obtain professional items. I highly recommend her. You won't regret it.

I've received a full balayage makeover from my box Dyer red hair and I've been repeatedly turned down by multiple salons from being anywhere close to blonde. I was told that I SHOULD NOT attempt to go blonde and wait until I have virgin hair again which comes around once in a life time for us girlies. Hoa reassured my hairs integrity and explained in detailed of the process and she didn't give me any false hopes but ABOVE AND BEYOND. I would like to say that I'm a introverted extroverted type of person but she made me feel so comfortable and worth time getting pampered. We took approximately around 10 hours for my full balayage but time went by so fast with her. She's so kind and attentive, her customer service is definitely top tier as well as her skills. If gatekeeping was still a thing in this time and generation, I'd take it to my grave. She ensured that I would walk out that salon looking real good, the cut and color suited my particular skin tone and everything then I didn't even think of a second doubt. This was my first balayage ever and I'm really happy she was the one to do it while others couldn't. I really love how's she's passionate about her job and she's there every moment of the way for you.

This review is for Libby…read more I've been seeing Libby for over two years and actually travel back to the Bay Area just to have my hair done by her - that's how good she is. She's a true color magician. She helped me transition through the awkward grey stage at exactly the right time, and later brought me back to light brown in a way that blends beautifully with my fast-growing greys and grows out naturally without constant upkeep. The moment I knew I could fully trust her was when she gave me a short haircut, something I'm usually very hesitant about and absolutely nailed it. Finding a stylist who is genuinely excellent at both color and cutting is surprisingly rare, and Libby is both. She listens carefully, understands the science behind how color and texture behave, and designs styles that actually look great as they grow out not just the day you leave the chair. She's also warm, funny, and incredibly easy to be around. Even my husband, who normally avoids hair maintenance altogether, got a cut from her and loved it. Anyways, the place itself is pretty convenient since it's located by the freeway. The place is surprisingly pretty big and spacious and my mom's hairdresser is always patient and polite. I will admit probably for my mom's next visit I'll have to stick around a tad longer and help my mom and her hairdresser when my mom gets her hair washed. So not everything there is I guess ADA available, but it's a minor thing for now since my mom has very limited mobility but can move with some assistance. As for the hairstyle, mom is always happy and I personally think makes her feel as normal as she can get these days and being content let alone having another outside interaction besides with me is always a good thing!

My hair is long, but it isn't completely straight like most common Asian hair. My hair had gotten to the point where I really needed a trim to get rid of a lot of the split-ends, but I didn't have time to drive all the way into SF (where I use to live before moving to Hayward) just to visit my usual hairdresser/stylist. I contacted Lien via text and she was super responsive. I was also able to schedule an appointment with her the next day during the afternoon. Not only that, Lien is super nice and friendly! She listened to my concerns about my hair and made sure everything was to my liking before I left. Great person and great service. I will definitely be contacting Lien as my go-to from now on!
