The pair I bought at the Lenox Square Mall store is pair number 20 that I've owned over the years. The staff in the store were fairly new to Dr. Martens, but were very friendly and well versed in the stock on hand. (The pair I was wearing are a special edition, and the staff hadn't seen them prior...) They even had a few pairs of Made in England Docs in stock. Jemel was especially helpful, and was very receptive to feedback based on 30 years of wearing Docs. I've even worn them deployed to Afghanistan, and he was thankful for the feedback on that experience, focused on the Combs, which is a canvas boot. I spent almost an hour in the store, having enjoyable conversations with the entire staff. In total, we bought two pairs, one for me, and one for my daughter, along with some custom laces for her boots. I loved being in the store, and will ABSOLUTELY go back the next time I'm in Atlanta. During all my visits I have found the staff to be kind, and helpful. Not only have I purchased, but I have also had to return a few items. Regardless of the type of transaction, I was treated courteously. I particularly adore their little girls' clothing. Their selection changes depending on the season and they offer beautiful holiday options, as well. Jenny calmed my anxiety by reassuring me she could get it done for me and ready to pick up by the next day. I got a fast response via message from them so I decided to give them a try. They told me to bring the right shoes so they could measure accurately. I wouldn't have thought of that! The location is easy to find right off 141 and parking is a breeze in front. They have good hours, open til 630 and even open on weekend. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and her mom- by name since I'd made a arranged time they were expecting us! There was a really nice arrangement of masks while we waited to browse. Some of these were made with beautiful fabrics for formal events and in all the colors you could dream of. My daughter put on the gown for measuring and she was made to feel comfortable (this was her very first experience at a tailor service.) she was complimented on her look as well. The dress was ready in a quick timeframe and absolutely on time for our event. My daughter was pleased with the result- and attention to detail. The hem looks extremely professional.
