UNETHICAL BILLING PRACTICES…read more My son has been automatically charged twice for a membership that he has cancelled. He called to cancel, and was told he had to bring in a "written request" to cancel. After taking in a written request to cancel his membership, he was again charged almost $40 and told that his written request must have been "lost." He then took in a SECOND written request to cancel his membership, which seems a ridiculous business practice, and was again automatically charged for a membership. When he called, he was told he would have to speak to the owner, Mark Furniss, who was unavailable and would have to call him back. That was three days ago, and the owner still has not called. As this situation has been ongoing for almost three months, I am going to make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau regarding what appears to be unethical business practices.

They offer no appointments, which helps with the flow, and they seem to be able to get more people in to tan. I've tanned twice, and never waited longer than 5 minutes to get in, so it's hardly an inconvenience. The staff members that I have met are all young, but very professional and informative. I only tan before vacation to prevent burning, so I'm not really an expert on tanning salons, but this place will be my "go to" before I "go" anywhere.
