Deckard & Company

If you need any sort of website design, website security, SEO or marketing services, there's no one…read morebetter than Deckard & Company. I have trusted Deckard & Company to not only design my own company's website (www.afsspeakers.com) but have used him to design websites for several of my speakers. Brian Deckard is incredibly knowledgeable; he is creative as well as being a great problem-solver when I've wanted specific and complicated functionality. Brian and his team are very responsive and extremely easy to work with! I wish I could give more than five stars!

I contracted with Deckard & Company to create, design and code a WordPress website from scratch…read more After signing a contract and waiting 3 weeks for a kick off call or introductory call to see what colors or style of design I liked, I instead received my first revision of my website homepage from Tim stating that this was the design and if we should move to shopping cart next. I must say this design he came back with was not anywhere the quality we were looking for, super basic, it obviously appeared not much thought and time went into this. If your company is looking for great graphic and layout design for your website, it might be a better idea to go to another agency that specializes in Website Creative Design because this was not worth the price or results they are charging by far. After having a conversation with Tim, we both agreed to that this was not a good fit and that he would issue a refund. Great we both lost time but lets move on is what I thought. What Tim and Deckard and Company forgot to mention to me after waiting for our refund check, was that Deckard Company was withholding $400 for his time! I have since contracted with a new website design agency and they have done a fantastic job from start to finish. Also our new design agency stated that Deckard & Company was wrong to recommend that we purchase a new hosting account for our new website instead of using our existing website hosting account that we already owned to host to host both sites, we spent/lost another $230.00 on top of the $400, on a new host we really didn't need to purchase from Deckard and company recommendation, also we lost 3 weeks of our time. I believe that Deckard & Associates believes that their time is more valuable than ours. Beware!!! This is not high end marketing creative company by any means as they portray to be.

I am only giving this company two stars for twos reasons: they were quick to process my refund and…read moreone of the employees, Estella, was extremely helpful. Literally every other part of the process was horrible. After receiving two vouchers for "free" vacations, I proceeded to fill out the forms and send in the tax deposit. Three weeks later the forms were still not in their possession so I had to have the forms emailed to me, re-fill them out and email them back. Afterwards, I was contacted by a representative to book my trip. I missed the call and the representative never called back after two weeks so I called the number myself. I was hung up on repeatedly by representative. After I finally got ahold of someone, I was told that I would need to pay an additional $163 dollars for my selected vacation in Miami. I thought this defeated the point of a "free" vacation but understood that taxes at a nice hotel for two nights could reasonably be this price. I paid it and was all set to go on my trip. Once I received the confirmation, I saw that the hotel booked for me was a cheap hotel outside the airport and not hotel I thought I was getting which was on the beach. When I googled the airport hotel, the cost of the stay booked directly from their website for the same dates was cheaper than the "additional taxes" I was asked to pay by Grand Incentives. When I called to try to see why this was I was hung up on by approximately 20 representatives before I was able to speak with someone who told me I was "accidentally" charged the $50 dollar booking fee. After all this chaos, I decided to cancel my trip and get every single dime of my money back. My advice: If you are offered anything by this company, just say no. And shame on Wyndam Hotels for partnering with such a horrible company!

I want to share my experience working with scamming companies associated with Grand Incentive, Real…read moreTravel, and Leisure Time Passport. In my opinion, these companies create unrealistic expectations by advertising "free" vacations within the U.S. and internationally; it's all a scam, and they keep your credit card information and sell it. Customers are often invited to webinars where they're offered travel memberships or promotional vacation vouchers for 3 nights and 4 days. After submitting their preferred travel dates and personal information, and sometimes paying a deposit of $25 or $50, they may later be told that no standard accommodations are available for their selected dates. At that point, customers may be offered an "upgrade" through third-party booking platforms such as Hotelbeds. The advertised vacation may appear inexpensive at first, but additional booking or agent fees can significantly increase the final cost. The pricing is often compared to Expedia, creating the impression of a substantial discount, even though similar rates may be available on other travel websites. Another practice that concerned me was the way payments were processed. In some cases, charges were split into separate transactions, with part of the payment appearing as a hotel cost and another part as a booking or service fee. My advice to consumers is simple: always compare prices across multiple travel websites, including Booking.com, Expedia, and others, before purchasing any travel package. Do your own research, read the terms carefully, and be cautious when sharing personal or payment information.
