I had no idea how to sing and would rank myself horrible, but after just a few lessons I have learned tips and tricks and my recordings have sounded great. I'm excited to continue this journey. This place is amazing. I wish I could say that I spent a week here recording and all the cool…read moreequipment I got to use, but alas it was 1 evening, after hours, mainly recording piano. The experience was great though and I can see why bands like Barenaked Ladies frequent this place. We were in Studio A and we choose the 7' Baldwin Grand Piano to record with and man did it sound beautiful. The studio and recording equipment is top notch, and your choices for pianos and organs are astounding. Just take a look on their website for all their gear. The guys working there were really helpful and the process was fast and smooth. It's not cheap though, you're paying for the best here. That's mainly why we had to go in after hours, to save some coin (I know a guy who knows a guy ;). Once I become a rock star though I intend to really test this place out. Of course, I will update my review accordingly.

GOOD - Great…read morecustomer service - Always has some deal going on to save me money - Quiet location - Bigger room than most other studios - Has Vending machine for munchies - Price is a little lower than surrounding studios - Excellent Equipment and in good shape - Room sounds amazing - Clean Washrooms !!!!! - Room has a window - Free parking BAD - It was a little far from my area (but worth the trip) - Only open till 12am (we like to jam late) - They dont sell Beer - They dont have recording equipment to record your jams At the end of the day I like the Groove Room Studios because they give you the best bang for the buck. You get a room with a window that is big for rehearsal space standards - I can park my car for free without any hassle - and most important is everything (including the washroom) is CLEAN. I can honestly say that if you go here you will be happy. Mat

After texting and getting information about rooms available, I travelled for 1h20m this past Friday…read moreDec 27th to Jam Chamber, where I met in person Sebastian who showed me the room. I said I was interested and I need to confirm for my band members, he said it would NOT be a problema to hold until Monday - "No problem at all" his words. Now it is Monday the 30th, I called in to confirm and close the deal. Sebastian said he rented the room to somebody else and said "I gotta keep the business running". He didn't even give me a call to say "Hey Dan, you were here on Friday and now I have someone interested, if you are not going to close now I will rent to someone else". Because if we knew there was another person to close we'd have transferred immediately over the weekend - after all he said he was going to hold no problem so how would I know? This is the most disrespectful and unprofessional situation. His words mean nothing, I wasted time and money to go there and he doesn't care. He offered another room that is smaller, and used as storage room, no windows, and for the same price!! Not even said "sorry I made a mistake", after all we are humans, instead he's proud and gives zero fuck since now he's got his money and the room rented. If you are looking for someone honest and professional, this is NOT your spot.
