The experience was great though and I can see why bands like Barenaked Ladies frequent this place. We were in Studio A and we choose the 7' Baldwin Grand Piano to record with and man did it sound beautiful. The studio and recording equipment is top notch, and your choices for pianos and organs are astounding. Just take a look on their website for all their gear. The guys working there were really helpful and the process was fast and smooth. It's not cheap though, you're paying for the best here. That's mainly why we had to go in after hours, to save some coin (I know a guy who knows a guy ;). Once I become a rock star though I intend to really test this place out. Found upstairs in the confines of its King and Sherbourne locale, it is unassuming but certainly worth approaching for any recording that you need. The waiting area is modern and relaxing with an atrium available with beverages, televisions, and couches if a longer waiting period in between sessions is required. Feel free to relax. The soundproofed studios are found on the upper level, with great equipment and a fantastic staff that run the boards. Directors typically sit in the mic room with the talent and not on the other side of the glass wall behind the boards forcing you to wait for their feedback on mic. Response is immediate, friendly, and professional. It's one of the most relaxed and laid back studios I've ever had the pleasure of recording in and I always look forward to the next session.
