I've tried several different instructors and have enjoyed them all - even though they definitely have different styles. I love that classes are small and I really feel the instructors are attentive and quick to provide guidance or direction. I've only tried the level 1 courses yet - but find there is plenty of variation and ability to scale the difficulty level. I use WellHub through my employer, so can't speak to this studio's pricing - but I am certainly enjoying adding this to my workout routine!

The perfect workout honestly -- my instructor for the day was Maggie and her class was truly a work of art. From start to end everything was so uniform, so artistic, and the playlist was solid, huge plus if you ask me! I arrive at 4:15 for my 4:30 class and we started with warm up style practices which later got more intense as the workout proceeded. With Rufus du sol and other jams beating as Maggie explained, and showed us each move, the class was so seemless and perfect. It honestly flew by! Pilates is amazing, and Pilates One in Coconut Grove is the perfect place to experience it. This studio, which has been in business for nearly 20 years, offers so much more than a workout. They've created a space with a unique energy--walking in, you instantly feel safe and at home. I just finished a "Jump Class," and what a workout it was! It challenged me in ways I never expected, leaving me feeling stronger and more energized. The class was led by Jeannine, the owner, who has mastered the art of motivating and supporting her clients. Her approach is encouraging without being overwhelming, which is rare to find in a fitness studio. Even as a beginner, I felt comfortable and capable in her class. Pilates One has truly inspired me to make Pilates a core part of my fitness routine. I'm already seeing and feeling the difference, and I couldn't be more excited to continue this journey. I was a big guy, as in tall and heavy when I started (less heavy these days!). Nicole took the time to evaluate my specific situation and tailored my training. When I started, I suffered from back pain caused by a small hernia in my lower back, not severe enough for surgery. After just a couple of sessions, the pain started to fade. A month into it, it was gone! Nicole's training had strengthened my core without putting my back in risk. Now, in addition of not having back pain, I am stronger, more flexible, and way lighter than when I started. Scheduling is a breeze, she is very flexible, understanding and fair. I would recommend this studio to anyone that wants to get stronger and healthier. Don't waste your time and money on "one size fits all" Pilates classes. This is truly a custom made experience and believe me. It pays off!!!

The class is listed as a "Reformer Cadillac Class," and the description does not state anywhere that the class is structured as a half-and-half split between the two. There is a meaningful difference between integrating elements and dividing a class in half, especially when booking with a specific expectation. Beyond that, the class itself lacked challenge, and the equipment was not a great experience (the straps repeatedly caught during movements), which made it difficult to maintain flow. The most concerning part was the disruption during class. The interruption came directly from the owner, Avelin, who stopped the session to address my phone. My phone was not recording, and at no point prior was I asked to put it away. The situation was handled in a disruptive and unprofessional manner, which affected not only my experience but the class as a whole. To make matters worse, the studio's response to feedback was unprofessional addressing me by name publicly, speaking in a condescending tone, and telling a client not to return. Their public responses (as shown in the screenshots) reflect a pattern of defensiveness rather than professionalism when handling negative feedback. Overall, between the lack of clarity in the class format, the unchallenging instruction, the equipment issues, and the way concerns are handled, this was a disappointing experience especially considering I traveled from Boca to attend. Unfortunately, not an experience I would repeat. Update: After posting my review, the studio attempted to have it removed by marking my attendance inaccurately and has continued to respond publicly with statements that do not reflect my experience. I did attend the class as booked, and my review reflects my experience that day. I have documentation to support this. At this point, the handling of feedback and attempts to discredit a client are more concerning than the class itself.

I was lucky enough to attend one of her pop-up classes when she came back to town recently, and as always--she exceeded expectations. This studio is nestled in a small shopping area near the MayFair Hotel and there is plenty of street or garage parking around the area. I have done mat Pilates in the past and I have always wanted to try it on the reformer machine. I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to. Christa was the instructor for our class and she was awesome :). She helped me feel comfortable on the machine and adjusted my form as necessary throughout the class. She definitely made the 1 hour class challenging, fun, yet not strenuous. I broke a little sweat and am currently feeling a little sore and it's a great feeling!
