After a bumpy ride on the Gardiner heading East (god damn construction), my trailer came off my…read moretruck. The coupler was clearly worn down for it to come off like that, and the impact of the jack on the road bent it significantly. I managed to get the trailer to J&J for repairs, with a tight deadline for repairs (2 days). The old coupler & jack were welded in place. They neatly cut out the old coupler & jack, and welded on plates so new pieces could be bolted on in the future. They also replaced the safety hooks (old ones were just S-hooks, they replaced with a more secure style) and one of the sidemarkers. To be honest, I thought I would be hosed for the repairs on such a short schedule- but they completed the work on time for what I consider to be an extremely reasonable price. I couldn't come pick it up during regular hours, so they pulled the trailer to a safe location for me to pick up later. I couldn't be happier with the service from J&J! I have several trailers that I will be bringing in for brakes / maintenance soon.

I got a call from the police stating my trailer was recovered at a private address . I call to check on the trailer I was told, it's in the lot , I asked are you sure. My trailer was indeed stolen off their lot and they did not report it stolen this was the Tuesday and my trailer was apparently stolen Sunday morning. They were asked to pick up at the recovery site and refused. I had have to cover the cost to for the tow and storage so they can take the trailer back to their lot to continue repair. I was never told my trailer was stolen by them and now it is my fault because they have a sign that says they are not responsible for loss or damage. The trailer was left at an easy accessible point and someone was able to hook it up and drive away. Igor service manager insist I file an insurance claim. Letting the kids have free reign over the snacks did wonders for morale, which was perfect for not being able to wash dishes. We ventured northward to a few provincial parks and can't say enough about the endless hiking trails and breathtaking vistas and memories being made as family. Upon returning home and addressing our issues with the owner Amy Verwey, I was thoroughly pleased with her professionalism in smoothing over any bumpy edges. Her communication was absolutely flawlessly and seamlessly executed and beyond fair and reasonable. She addressed our concerns, actioned them swiftly and promptly, and reflected on areas of service where training could be improved. I don't believe one can ask for more when it comes to customer service. In short, Amy exceeded our expectations and instilled tremendous confidence in Owasco as a place to rent and visit again when making a future RV purchase

This is an example of good service and fair and honest dealing:…read more I blew a tire on my utiliity trailer and broke a bolt trying to change it. The only option is to replace the wheel hub so I went to Springwater Trailers to buy a new one. It turns out tha there are two possible sizes of bearings and I did not know which I had. The trailer was disabled and sitting about a 1 hour drive from here and so this was a problem. The gentleman at Springwater Trailer sold me the new hub at a very reasonable price and then gave me a second set of bearings of the alternate size and an additional seal. He explained to me how to check the size and change the bearings if necessay. He did not charge me for the second set of bearings. He just asked that I bring back the set I did not use. I followed his instructions, changed the hub and today I will return the unused set of bearings and the seal. Over the years I have found that people who trust others are usually also trustworthy. This guy has my trailer business for as long as he owns the company. Jeff B.
