I got to the shop a little after they opened this morning and Jim was there to even open the door for me as I walked in.

Further, the work itself is stellar and their is no doubt in my mind the owner Duke has a very high skill set in regard to knowing bikes, bike equipment, and repair. I have a Wilier that had serious crack in the carbon and was over five (5) years old. It took a while to find the needed part and after much back and forth Duke did take the time to locate the OEM part in Italy. He did not take the cheap way out. He performed the needed fixes and found other problems on the bike. The bottom line is the bike came back feeling new. I also bought a pair of shoes. Once again River Velo does not carry cheap stuff and I was given at least five (5) viable options. I have a weird non-standard foot and Duke found the perfect fit. Guys and gals, this is not a conventional bike store. The guy is busy as "hell" for a reason, so he may not always get back to you right away. However, be very aware this guy and his shop have high integrity. I live an hour and a half from his shop (he specializes in Wilier and other high end Italian bikes) and after being educated by Duke and watching what was done to my bikes I don't want anyone else touching my Babies. I will make the drive. Forget all the niceties and usual flowery customer service stuff. If you want to buy a high end quality machine this is the place. If you need shoes or other bike accessories this is the place. If you need service on your bike this is the place. Just have patience. The store is super busy and full of a lot of customers because they excel at what they do. If any of the things I stated were incorrect this would not be the case. In any event, this is the best bike store I have been in and whole heartily endorse doing business with this place.

Coming from a…read morerunning and cycling background, triathlon was a new territory for me, and I wanted to make sure I was properly set up on the bike. What made the experience even more reassuring is that Dr. Julia is not only a bike fit specialist, but also a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a very competitive athlete in the world of cycling and triathlon. Having someone who truly understands both the science of the body and the demands of the sport made all the difference. She took the time to understand my mobility, my goals, and explained every adjustment along the way. The process felt very intentional and personalized. After my fit, I immediately noticed improved comfort and confidence on the bike, especially during the test ride out. If you're getting into triathlon or want to ride stronger and pain-free, working with someone like Dr. Julia is truly invaluable. I'm thankful she was part of my journey to my first triathlon. Please visit her and book soon!

She was in a bit of a mood and didn't want to go into the store (strangers), and Julie, as a mother herself, brought the helmet outside to us to be able to try it on. I am so thankful that Julie was so accommodating and kind. The helmet fit perfectly and our toddler loves it! I can't wait to return back to AC Bike Shop for future biking needs. I can't recommended them enough. 5 stars isn't enough.

If you're planning to bike around Sonoma, do yourself a favor and rent from Sonoma Valley Bikes…read more This place is fantastic. We booked our bikes online for two days of riding, and when we showed up Emily already had everything dialed in and ready to go. But the real magic was the itinerary she created for us. She mapped out two days of riding that were basically the perfect Sonoma combo: beautiful routes, great lunch stops, and wineries along the way. We followed her plan exactly and it felt like having a local cycling guide in our pocket. Amazing roads, gorgeous scenery, delicious food, and wine stops at just the right moments (very important cycling fuel, obviously). Huge thank you to Emily and the team at Sonoma Valley Bike Tours & Rentals for making our trip so easy and so much fun. We're already looking forward to coming back and doing it again! ‍

He said we could do a more history centric tour, or winery centric tour. We chose historic. First, we stopped off at historic House of General Vallejo, then we rode to Buena Vista winery. We had a wine tasting there where Antwon was super-accommodating for my husbands very specific wine tastes. Then we traveled throughout Vineyards to go through Bartholomew park and back to the Square. We had an olive oil tasting at Figone's on the plaza which was delicious. We had excellent weather and the day couldn't have been better.
