Even the side salad was wonderful: all vegetables in the salad were fresh and the dressing was very good. Everyone else was happy with their dinners, also. The portions were very satisfying. We were too full to have desert. Hochmühle is a favorite of our friends who live nearby. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, though when full of people can be very loud.

Nidderau is a collection of five towns that have been combined and Heldenbergen is one of them…read more This town has a handful of restaurants and this is one of them. It looks like it was renovated in the last few years and serves Italian food. The place itself is quite big with seating for about 40-50 people. The menu is quite extensive with a range of starters, mains, pastas, pizzas and desserts. I always order the same pizza when I go to a new Italian place, the Diavolo. I also ordered a tomato salad. The pizza was fine and nothing special. The crust was a bit too thick for my liking. It did not feel like eating an Italian pizza, rather an American one. The salad was quite nice and had loads of balsamic vinegar on it. Given the lack of choice in town this place is ok. I would probably come here again.
