We hit yelp looking for recommendations for an arborist to tackle the tree. Prairie Wind and Tree was the first to respond to our ask for help. Mr. Prairie was prompt, gave us an honest quote and was even kind enough to allow us to make payments to him. Hey and his workers broke down the remnants of our tree, and then came out afterwards and ground the stump. They were quick, considerate and compassionate to our plight. I highly recommend them!

We've had a massive pecan tree branch--rooted in our neighbor's yard--hanging precariously over our…read moreproperty for years. With every heavy rain or winter ice storm, I worried it would finally snap and crash right onto our house and AC condenser. While it offered some nice shade, it also dumped tons of leaves and pecans into the yard every fall, not to mention dealing with pesky webworm nests. It was long overdue to come down. I also needed a second tree trimmed back from the power lines. After finding glowing reviews for Salas Tree Service online, I visited their website and easily booked a free estimate. True to their word, Monica Salas called the next business day to confirm, and Joaquin arrived right at the very beginning of our four-hour arrival window. Their pricing was extremely fair. Having had a front-yard tree completely removed by a different company a few years ago, Salas was right in the ballpark--especially considering this job involved a much larger tree plus an additional trim. On service day, the crew showed up on time and knocked everything out in just a few hours. They shredded and hauled away all the debris, leaving the yard cleaner than it was when they started. From the seamless digital invoicing and payment process to the peace of mind knowing they are fully bonded and insured, the entire experience was top-notch. I highly recommend Salas!

They showed up right on time and immediately got to work. You can tell they really care about the quality of their work. My lawn had gotten a little out of control, but they handled everything!! From mowing, edging, trimming, and cleaning up all the clippings. When they finished, the yard looked incredibly neat and well-maintained. The edges along the sidewalk and driveway were especially clean, which made the whole property look more polished. Another thing I really appreciated was how respectful they were of my property. They left everything spotless and even made sure gates were closed when they left. If you're looking for someone reliable, professional, and detail-oriented for lawn care, I highly recommend booking with them. Great communication which is super important!! My only complaint was that the workers broke a couple of my pots. There was also a lot of debris in my gardens afterwards, and they did not intially use a leaf blower, so I requested that they come back by and do so. They did apologize for the broken pots, and I do get that some collateral damage is inevitable with trees as large as mine overhanging a garden. My suggestion would be to let both the owner and the crewhead know to take special care if you are an avid gardener, and to move anything breakable completely clear.
