I had an ailing, huge hackberry in tight quarters which they efficiently took down without damaging another tree in close proximity or my concrete drive. This company is amazing and I cannot say enough good things about them. We have used them previously and been very happy, but in our time of need they truly came to the rescue. Our property was hit by the tornado in Norman, February 2023. A huge tree in our yard was hit and landed in our yard and across our driveway. Tree Wizard was able to respond to our location within 12 hours and sent us an entire crew to assist with cleanup. They were able to clear the tree and grind the stump quickly. Mariah's recommendations were evidence of her knowledge as a Master Arborist. The crew of Tree Wizards did a fantastic job reshaping our trees and clearing out the dead and broken branches in our trees. Their concern for the health of the trees was so appreciated, as was their regard for the birds who had nests. Trims were modified to accommodate the locations of the nests. After the May, 2015 tornado/hail weather cycle, I unfortunately had a tree that needed to be removed. I called one arborist (who shall remain nameless in this review) and my call was not returned after more than a week (and still hasn't been returned). So, I moved on to the Tree Wizard. I called and left a message, then received a call back a couple of days later. I asked for an estimate, and that same day the Wizard was out at my house. He called me with the estimate, which I found imminently reasonable. He offered a price for both stump removal and leaving the stump. I liked having the options given to me. I asked him when we could schedule the removal of the knocked over tree, and he said he would be able to do it that day. So, by the time I arrived home from work, the job was completed. Very friendly, the spot looks fantastic, and he even offered some advice about potential plants/bushes to plant in the tree's place. This is a shorter review than I typically post, but when a business does a great job, promptly, and for a reasonable price, there's not much more to add. I've found my arborist should I have any tree-related issues in the future. Highly recommended. read more

I have never been pressured to use their services or pursue a course of action, but I have always been given what I need to make a good decision about how to proceed. I have had years of experience with certified arborists and other tree "experts" in multiple locations in this area, and Tree Wizard's work has without exception been a significant cut above all others, while their prices have always been reasonable. When I place my beloved trees in their hands, I know I have received the best assessment and treatment possible. Somewhere, in some ancient, primeval, arboreal land, I must have, in another life and incarnation, angered the tree gods. If there is an Odin of Oak, a Poseidon of Pines, a Shiva of Shrubberies, or a Horus of Hackberry, I must have angered one of them. If I have crossed some unknown line of demarcation in the mythologies of all that is essential to the world of leafy forests, I offer up my most sincere and humble apologies. It's not possible to give "no" stars on a Yelp review. But I honestly think that would be the most applicable description of a service I was repeatedly promised and never given. I called a few weeks ago to have someone come out and do an assessment and draw me up some estimates. Mariah came by a couple of days later and was pleasant. I'm not really sure why she thought it was necessary to bring her dog with her on a business call, or what presupposition led her to think it was okay to let her dog just wander into my house, but it was weird. I love dogs, but I was a little taken aback by it. Never had anything like that happen before. Probably because it's not professional. I get that being in the outdoors a lot might lend itself to that kind of sense of personal freedom, but my cats, toddler, and infant were not really amused. She was very knowledgeable and went over a lot of ideas and information, but kept putting down her father, the owner, for not having as much knowledge about tree diseases as she did. It was a little weird. She was only there for about 15 minutes, and it was a bit brisk outside, so she took my email address and said she would get me a quote by the next day. Well, that day came and went. So did the next, and the next, and the next. A week later, I phoned the company and spoke with a very nice woman named Brittany, who apologized and said that she would contact Mariah and find out what was going on and get a quote right out to me. So I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. After another week, I called back and spoke with Brittany again. She sounded perturbed by the whole situation. More because this sounded like a regular and inconveniently irritating issue than because of my complaint. She verified my info, and promised me that she would get in contact with Mariah again and get me a quote and have her call me. It has now been more than three days, and I have heard nothing, received nothing, and am about done. I'd give up completely, but I have called 3 other tree services who are all "certified arborists" as well, which apparently means "huge disappointments" and "absolute failures in follow-through", that have not even bothered to show up. I still have sad trees, untrimmed, diminished, and unkempt. My lot in life for angering the Saturn of Spruce. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company. I was not impressed by the way they handle business. They covered my truck in mud then said "sorry we looked for you" couldn't find me to move it so just blow crap all over it and not even offer to clean it just got a sorry about your bad luck. I've seen more professionalism at a T-ball game. read more
