Book now! It's TOTALLY WORTH IT! As a family we've done ziplines a number of different places and the Treehouse Ziplines rank high as one of our favorite experiences. My family did the Outback Adventure a few days ago, we added on the Treeversal ExTree. We were paired up with another family, some of them had zipline experience and some of them were new to it. Matt and Taylor were encouraging to the daredevils and reassuring to the more timid members. They did a great job explaining things while keeping everyone engaged. It's an absolutely beautiful course. The highlight for me was Logan's Way, so fast, so fun! Even if You are not a guest at the Treesort. You should seriously consider Treehouse Ziplines. read more

Even better than expected! I took my 12-year-old son and his 13-year-old friend to The Outback Adventure for their birthday. My son's friend's mom and I both felt delighted by the down-to-earth, friendly and magical setting that Michael and crew have built at their Treesort. The grounds were fun to explore and laid back. The zipline crew were knowledgable, professional, fun and warm. Curtis was especially talented at very quickly reading each person and connecting with them in an individualized way throughout the experience. The boys had a blast and we all want to return. I would like to book a stay in one of the treehouses and do a river raft trip with the guide, whom I think is Michael's son. We will be back! Thank you, Treehouse Crew! read more

We had such an incredible time here. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. We were with a large group of forty people for my oldest daughter's last Girl Scout troop trip. We had a blast zip lining, horseback riding and rafting. We also did mosaic tile making and tie dying. The grounds are well maintained and facilities are frequently cleaned. We stayed in the Cabin which was accessible for my youngest daughter that uses a wheelchair. We brought a few different sized ramps and we're able to go in the different common areas. The zip line crew was even able to make zip lining possible for my youngest. We will definitely be returning and can't wait for our next adventure! read more

My father in law booked this zipline adventure for the whole family who had gathered for his 70th birthday up in Northern Ca. We took the hour drive to Treehouse Ziplines (actually in Oregon) and had a very memorable experience. Our group ranged in age from 4 to 70 years old and while on the same adventure, despite the age gap, managed to have a blast. It's not often you can find an activity that captures and keeps the attention of a 4 year old, a 40 year old and a 70 year old, right? We went for the 6 cable course "Mountain View Zipway" $65/person and were never bored for a minute. The (2) instructors were all about safety, and were very professional (while telling corny jokes). The first zipline course, was very close to the ground, so everyone could practice hand braking, form and following instructions. My two girls (aged 4 and 6) didn't want to do the zip lines at all, but after the practice run, were begging to try the next higher, higher, and higher zipline. I'm generally a pretty adventurous person, however, while perched on a tiny platform 70 feet in the air, I had to take a deep breath, and remember I was tethered to the tree and my father-in-law had already paid for the adventure, so I could continue! Not for the faint of heart. The instructors were very patient with my young ones, and also my MIL, who had some points of nervousness. They always made sure everyone felt comfortable and ready to zip off through the trees before letting go. Overall, we got to see some amazing views of the gorgeous Southern Oregon treelines, from a birds-eye view, gain some major confidence in ourselves, and form some totally awesome family bonds. Also on the grounds is this amazing Treehouse Resort, where you can actually sleep in some crazy treehouses. We weren't able to go see the inside but the exterior was pretty cool. Next time, we'll have to stay and totally veg out in nature - swinging from the trees and sleeping under the stars. read more

Come here if you wanna have fun! I mean how often do you get to Ziplines in and out of trees we came here from San Diego, Ca to zipline and we had a blast! We went on all the ziplines and also did the Tarzan swing, the Tarzan swing was so much fun I would definitely recommend paying the extra to do it. As we went through trails to get to the ziplines the guides Paige and Morgan were very informative about the nature in the area, they also worked very well as a team throughout the whole experience and if you wanna stay for more than the day they have cool tree houses that you can rent! read more

Bottom Line Up Front: GREAT Place; GREAT Fun; GREAT Tour Guides; SUPER safety conscious with high quality gear. Go have fun, you'll love it! Now the review: We found this place while staying near Cave Junction, OR and looking for a family activity/adventure while in town (June 10, 2019). We dropped in without reservations or any information other than listed on their website (not advised, call and make reservation before you go). I told the kids (14 and 18) we would check it out but no promises until I see the place and the quality of their safety gear. None of us have ever done ziplines before. Driving there was 'interesting' as we traveled down several country roads (the last of which is all gravel/dirt) to find the parking lot (also dirt). I was feeling a little sketchy after the drive. We parked and walked up to the Treehouse Bed and Breakfast (which also looks fun...maybe we'll visit next time) found one of their employees who walked us to the back of the property where we found Adam with the Zipline company. Adam explained which options were available and that reservations are usually required because they schedule tour guides based on demand, but noted that he had some space in a zipline tour (called the Mountain View) starting in just 30 minutes! After looking over the gear and meeting one of their guides (Jamie) I could tell they were a proper operation and were safety conscious. We decided to go for it, however my wife's fear of heights kept her safely on the ground and taking pictures. Going with another family of 4 who had younger kids (I'd guess 10 and 14), the 7 of us were briefed on the gear, the zipline course, safety procedures and tested for our basic agility (to make sure all joints were in working order, basically) by our guides JAMIE and JARED. Then we were each fitted into our harness and helmets by one guide...then double checked by the other! Very nice safety procedure. Once at the test line, Jamie and Jared reviewed the gear, mounting/dismounting the line, safety procedures, braking procedure (with your specially designed braking gloves) and body positioning while on the line. Then we each gave it a try while just a few feet off the ground with a modest speed. All was good and we were ready for the next line. What I really liked about this particular tour (Mountain View tour) was that it builds in height and speed as your confidence gains ending with an awesome high speed finish from a tree top about 70' off the ground! But fear not of the heights involved, as Treehouse Ziplines safety procedures ALWAYS keep you attached (sometimes double attached) using equipment similar to that found in rock climbing to every tree, staircase, and cable you are standing on or sliding down. Despite the heights involved, I NEVER felt nervous on the tree platforms or cables and was confident my kids were safe. Of course, all this safety is great, but was it fun? Heck yea it was. Our guides Jamie and Jared were serious about their jobs but were super fun, personable and funny too. THEY MADE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE FANTASTIC. I can't emphasize enough how the all the folks, but especially Jamie and Jared, at this place made for a wonderful family adventure! So, pick a date and time, make your reservations AND GO! PS Make sure to ask your guides about other things to do and eat in Cave Junction. Wow! We came here from San Diego to do the zip lines, It was way more then expected. Our tour guides Paige and Morgan were amazing and experts in their trade. They took us on all the zip lines on the resort and were informative of the plants and animals in the area. We also did the Tarzan swing which was craaaaaazy! make sure you don't have anything in you pockets, I saw a guys vape get demolished. Overall 5/5 good experience and fun time. read more

We really wanted this to be great. This was our son's birthday adventure. We have enjoyed many zip lines as a family. We couldn't of had a worse experience. Right off the bat we were met with strange attitudes. All of the employees seemed very unhappy. It was almost creepy. We were forced to wear mask even though we were OUTSIDE the entire time. When we asked questions they seem annoyed. Even ignoring us. It was extremely uncomfortable. The equipment was very outdated and down right dangerous. We have never been on a zip line where you are responsible for stopping yourself by placing (gloved) hands on the line. It was scary. The course itself was pretty pathetic. Very short runs and low to the ground. Getting on and off was very awkward and poorly designed. We went through the first "practice run" and one additional run. That's when they stopped us and told us we could not go any further. They stated that we were not "catching on" and we would "hit trees" on the next run. We were shocked we had paid for the full course. The youngest member in our party was 11. According to the website the only restriction was age 4 and above. I find it hard to believe they would have course were there was even a possibility to hit a tree yet alone a 4 year old being more capable then us. We asked repeatedly if we could keep going. Our son was extremely disappointed and didn't understand. We drove 4 hours round trip. Paid hundreds of dollars. They never said goodbye to us. Never thanked us. It was the most bizarre experience. We all walked away feeling dumbfounded. The next day I called and left a message asking for a manger to return my call. No one called. I feel robbed. read more

Our family of 6 (including four young adults aged 17-20) had a great time at Treehouse Ziplines this weekend. We did the Outback Adventure zip with added on Tarzan Swing. Siblings Matt and Paige were our guides, and they were absolutely fantastic. They knew all our names within minutes, and they were personable and fun. The entire process is SUPER organized. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do a great job getting you introduced to the equipment and how to navigate the zips. You start on a low-to-the-ground practice zip, and the lines build in height and speed as you go. The entire process felt entirely safe, and the guides were super reassuring and fun. This was the first zip experience for all of us, and we all had a blast. The only part where any of us felt a bit anxious was the rappel down off our last platform, but even then, Matt reassured us that if we didn't want to rappel ourselves, he'd handle the rope for us. One of our girls got a bit anxious and took advantage of letting him handle the rope, and she had no problems. I felt a bit anxious before my turn, but once I got on the rope, it felt really easy. The Tarzan swing is a MUST. It was the highlight of the day for those in our group who did it. We were a bit confused when we arrived and saw the signs for Out and About Treehouse. We'd seen different websites for Treehouse Ziplines and Out and About, so we thought they were totally different treehouse resorts/zips. I thought we arrived at the wrong one. Both businesses are on the same property. We zipped on a really hot day (108 high). Thanks to Matt and Paige for all the info on swimming holes along the Smith River. We took the drive and loved swimming and cooling off after our zips. The only thing I could have asked for is longer zips, so we could enjoy the scenery more. Most lines are fairly short, so once you get going, you are focused on watching for brake signals.
