I RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE!!…read more Out of all the childcare places I observed around this area and VT I would say this one is the best one out here is my reasoning: it's very clean!! The toys are up to date. the teachers don't only just watch your kids they bond with them, they teach them, they interact with them, they build an actual relationship with the kiddos I've seen the teachers build connections with the parents and as a parent I'm so glad they do because like I wanna know who watching my kid. I've never been at a work place that cares so much about each other and treats each other like family. I love every single classroom in there but I'll love to give some shout outs chels, lily and kat in the sprouts . I just wanted to thank you guys for being so gentle with the baby's and actually like wanting them to grow, and I THANK you guys for not letting the baby's cry or (cry it out) it's a big no for me and I just thank you guys for that and even having a genuine bond with the baby's and caring so much for them and thank you chels for having good communication with the parents as someone with a first born I had bad anxiety and I thank you for reassuring me I also thank you guys for knowing what each and very baby needs because there's a lot of baby's in there and I appreciate you guys for taking that time to know each baby and thank yall for sanitizing and wiping down everything and actually following the rules this goes for all classrooms too something I've observed this vs other childcare places is that this childcare place actually follows the policy/rules they are very strict on that and I appreciate that so much as a parent. I didn't know much of the girls in the lady bug room but I'll like to give a shoutout to Stef that works in the room and she's so amazing with the kiddos again having a genuine communication with the parents again she teaches the kids not only just watching them!! (I've seen so many childcare places that just watches the kids and not teach them) she has so many fun activities in the room and another thing she doesn't yell at the kids out of every childcare place I appreciate this one for redirecting the kids and not yelling at them thank you. Shout out to Lindsay the lunch lady there I appreciate her for always being so kind and making sure the kids and staff have full belly's, cooking and preparing meals is a lot something I could never do props to her, lastly I'll like to shout out to amber in grizzlys she's so caring and so kind she's so observant with every kid and I love how she can point at each student and tell me things she loves about each of them she's so good at activities there, let's the kids have fun, let's the kids be goofy, she redirects the kids instead of don't do this don't do that and I just see a lot of how I wanna teach in her. So if you are looking for a good childcare center for your kid CCUV is the way to go.

If you're looking for a glorified baby sitting service, with teachers who prefer gossip over doing…read moretheir job of teaching and a woman who tracks you down like a criminal if you have paid your daycare bill a week in advance--- this is this place for you. You won't catch teachers on the ground playing trucks or building puzzles. The bar is set low and any new teachers who come in ready to be great teachers are either pushed out or bring their standards down. I've never seen a daycare filled with people so uninterested in children! This daycare will always have openings, which is tempting when you are in need of childcare. But most daycares that are desirable usually are full and have wait lists.... oh and the bullying that's allowed to happen is sickening. Certain parents and therefor children are favored over others. It's quite noticeable too.

I have read the other reviews and can honestly say this was not my experience. My daughter was…read morethere from August 2022 to June 2023 and for her year, she came home every day excited and loving her teachers. Ms. Mckayla (Sp.) and Ms. Mel (Sp.) were so positive and upbeat. They challenged my daughter and she now recognizes all of her letters, several sight words and all numbers between 0 - 100. She has done so many arts and crafts, I cant even begin to describe. The playground is well maintained and my daughter loved that as well. Every day I picked up my daughter and the kids were all excited, happy and very friendly. I have never seen a room with too many kids or too few staff. My daughter has made some excellent friends and is sad that she will no longer be going as she is moving on to kindergarten. To be fare of previous reviews, we were never employees, never experienced COVID and only met Jay on a couple occasions (he was polite and respectful both times). On several occasions, I had questions for Audrey or teachers and answers were almost immediate and always supportive and kind. My daughter had several accidents over the year and staff handled it without concern or complaint and were vey supportive to my child. There were times when some clothes went missing or we received someone else clothes, but that has been true in every daycare I have ever been at with my children. Mistakes happen and were always rectified. On our last day, they had a wonderful graduation celebration and the children were all beaming and excited to sing their songs and gave staff hugs goodbye. The loss of Ms. Mckayla a couple months back was huge as she was soooo beloved, but Ms. Mel stepped in and my daughter quickly said she loved her as well. No situation is perfect and I was always worried about my daughter while she was away from us, but the staff did a great job of caring for her and supporting her growth. She has amazing memories and I recommend folks give this place a chance if you need childcare.

My daughter had the exact experience as the review from Taylor. She was told she was a danger to…read morethe class and was dismissed from the childcare facility if you can even call it that. They singled her out and tried to tell me she dI'd not have ADHD because "she (audrey) has kids with adhd and they don't act like this". She was diagnosed with this by a psychiatrist. I asked on many occasions for the staff and director/ owner Audrey to meet with riverbend to make a plan on how to move forward with my daughter's behavior. Audrey would switch the conversation and state "she didn't want to stress me out". They left my daughter with her husband at the front entrance on her last day which made me incridably uncomfortable. Audrey also told me just as Taylor was told that "no other children behave like mine does." Weird Audrey, since another child was told the exact same thing. They told me that she could no longer go to the childcare center through a mere text. Her other daycare which we returned to despite the distance from my new job is helping return my bubbly 4 year to who she was prior to going here. My daughter never acted this way prior to going here. I worry about what happened her there since she is too young to be able to tell me. Most of her behavior is typical for a 4 year old. Even riverbend community mental health confirmed this for me. They hire young kids who do nothing but sit on their phones all day. I walked in on staff doing their makeup despite children being in the building already. I witnessed children in the halls unattended. When my daughter returned to her old daycare the staff and children cheered to see her again. When she left they sent her a box stuffed with gifts as a goodbye gift. her therpist tells me she's a "treasure of a young girl". They tack on an extra charge for those on state assistance which our current/old daycare never did. I asked Audrey many times what the cost of care would be and she told me the same as the other childcare since i had assistance. this was not true. And I didn't find out until afterwards despite basically begging for transparency as a single mom of two.
