When shopping for furniture we come here to check. They're in 'Remodeling Sale' mode. Heard their Radio Advertising and got their Oversized Postcard in the mail. When we first moved to Anchorage, we bought a $20k Natuzzi bomber jacket leather couch set for like $5K it was a steal. It's in our Media Room. Today, since there's a sale we're shopping for my office furniture. My buddy Josh it so happened left Scan Home and just moved to Treeforms. So Josh knowing our colors in our new house is looking into getting us some office furniture we might have to order. Before we left, on the wall which caught my eye were these killer Hammer Head sharks. The wife went to the bathroom, and I said, Josh I'm buying them! Josh said they're cool. It'll grow on Judy - and she said "For the office not anywhere else in the house." They were 15% off. I need some Hammer Heads to represent my hammering out deals! LOL! read more

We have found several pieces in Treeforms that we love and tend to just wander through to see if there is anything that catches our eye and instantly love. We have a beautiful cherry desk that is simple and elegant, exactly what we wanted. We spent months in search of barstools for our home and decided to settle on a design we had seen here. I was settling, my husband liked them. We were not able to pick them up at their warehouse that day due to it being closed, so we went the following day. We noticed lots of dings and scratches on the initial one, so the warehouse guys went to get another one. We then found more on each one after that. I have no problem spending the money on pieces that are pristine and I love, but these were damaged before even leaving the store. The guys that worked there stated that all of them were going to be scratched and dinged and that's just not what we were comfortable with. They weren't pieces that were gaining character either. So, as disappointed as we were to still not have barstools after months of looking, we had our money refunded. They did so with no troubles at all, and we will continue to shop there and recommend them. There is beautiful furniture, along with decor that I have to weigh whether or not I can live with out it! Ha! Along with that, I love that the sales people briefly introduce themselves, ask if they can assist and then leave you be to stroll through the store at your own pace. For those of you that enjoy wood working, they do carry some incredible slabs as well that are truly beautiful! read more

No service! My husband and I went to buy a very expensive dinner table and couldn't get one person to help us. We took our money elsewhere and will NEVER shop there again. When this store opened @ 2000 I bought a wonderful oak dresser. It was less deep than most others and so fit into my 'bungalow-sized' bedroom. I ordered it unfinished and did a Shaker-type of paint and stain on it. I loved this piece so much I reurned in Jan of 2010 to see if I could get a chest of drawers for my husband. We heard there was a big sale. We went in and had a hard time figuring out where all the Amish furniture was. everything was oversized and not the oak/ maple Shaker/Quaker designs they had before. As far as sale- they must have sold out. Nothing was marked down by much. We ended up going to an antique store and found a tidy set of drawers there. read more

Accepted delivery of a custom order leather couch and loveseat in June 2017. Moved out of state, but noticed peeling of leather on one cushion less than a year later. After two years, multiple cushions on both pieces of furniture with patches of color missing. Tried to work with Treeforms multiple times over the past year, with no resolution. Ok, this was a huge surprise to me. Visiting Amish towns in Pennsylvania when I was young, I expected wood items of good craftsmanship and unstained. Their showroom was filled with good quality, but totally finished pieces. They were mostly contemporary (or mission, or even adirondack), so since my style is french country, there wasn't anything in here for me. And definitely out of my price range; about $1000 for a dining table, $300 a chair, and chests of drawers going upwards of $3000. Nothing wrong with that for sure, but it's just not my style. I inquired with the sales staff and they did say you can buy the furniture unfinished and they will discount for it. read more

I walked in the place yesterday and totally expected to see a bunch of finished and unfinished wood pieces. I was pleasantly surprised with their high quality selection of leather items. Service was good, the salesman was polite, attentive and informative. I ended up buying a georgous leather couch and loveseat for a great negotiated price. When reviewing the warranty, i was assured that no matter what.. if there were any future issues they would be taken care of, so they really stand behind there products. Anchorage has a wide variety of furniture stores of all styles, quality, and price ranges and Treeforms is definitely one of the more pricier ones. But as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for". We're talking timeless, high-quality, lifetime furniture. I especially love their Mission line and on the flip-side, I don't care for the contemporary style they carry -- at all. Evidently some people do or they wouldn't stock it ;). The store is in the middle of a massive expansion and as a result, they have some pretty good deals under a large tent in their parking lot. read more

I walked in this store with my friend looking for a couch and all of the workers stood in a corner watching us and refused to help, maybe because we didn't look like we had money I'm not sure. When my friend asked one of the workers a question about the couch they laughed and answered her. But what EXTREMELY DISTURBED me next was when I turned back around and saw the two ladies mocking us like a bunch of children. I highly recommend taking your services elsewhere. I've never been treated so poorly as a person and most definitely not as a soldier. read more

Expensive but good quality furniture. Unfortunately there is no service or help after the sale. After spending $8,500 on 4 pieces of bedroom furniture, we found a broken piece on a drawer rail that needed replacing. After emailed pics and a promise to locate a replacement piece allowing the drawer to remain intact, nothing from their "no service" department. I followed up two days later asking for status and still no reply. I ended up calling the factory in NC to get help. Bottom line: overall good stuff. Just don't expect any after sale help. Treeforms is grown up furniture. It's for when you've decided that you're done cobbling a home together with hand-me-downs, Craigslist scores, and the occasional trip to Ashley or Rooms to Go. It's for when you want your shit to look adult. And just about everything in this place IS nice. There are some telltale signs of good furniture (dense cushions, no use of cheap laminate or fake leather, etc.) and at Treeforms, it's all high-quality furniture. However, you had better come ready to pay for it. Their most competitive prices I saw were on upholstered pieces. Prices on bookcases were astronomical. These guys are amazing. My family bought a table and chairs these guys and yes it was pricey but the workmanship and the quality is something that will be in our family for years. It can take months for something to be customized to your liking but ours was finished a month before they promised it. Most comfortable chairs EVER! When they delivered our furniture...The guys were awesome. I have never seen such respectful and above and beyond delivery guys. They took off their shoes in our house to not track in the mud and even put felt pads on the bottom of all the furniture so it wouldn't scratch the hardwood floors. Then we went back to buy a couch.. Save up some money and use these guys!! You can even ask for Sarah... She was very helpful. read more

The place to go for furniture the way you want it made. Shane K understands customer service, and good communication. After looking around at what the other stores had, we were frustrated as what you see is what you get. We did not want to Settle just to have a new set. Went to Treeforms Found a piece that we liked, but it was missing draws underneath. Shane said "no problem". He helped us choose colors that would flow with the flooring. We took our time at choosing all of the details so it would be made the way we wanted. You do wait a while to get most furniture, you are told that from the start. The end product is amazing craftsmanship, well worth the wait. read more
