We took a year off from Tree Town Wonderland in 2024, heading out to cut our own tree. A big reason was affordability. However, my son didn't enjoy the cold trek through knee-deep snow, so we resumed what had been a tradition and went back to Lakewood last weekend. Much of what we liked remains in 2025: Friendly staff, wide selection of trees, free hot chocolate/donuts, the layout on a mini-golf course, and having our tree secured to the car for us. Some things have changed: 1. These trees are Taxed to the Max. We were very fortunate to find a small, but suitable tree without financing. 2. Mini-golf used to be free. Major perk. It's why my son insists on coming here. It's now $8 to include the challenges of seasonal ice. Fake trees have been anathema to me since childhood, but look like the future for our family barring a winning Powerball ticket. Everything costs more these days, I get it. Charging $8 for icy mini golf that was previously free? I think we're done here. read more

What a fantastic experience with great service. They have an amazing selection of trees and all fresh. We got a 8'10" and it is beautiful.

We loved the magical Christmas Tree selection and the service was top notch! We'll be back next year!

We driving around Lakewood for a Christmas Tree tonight and found this place. It was great. Cody helped us find a tree and the staff couldn't be more nice and getting everything loaded. Our kids had a great time walking through the trees and lights. They admitted trees were definitely pricey, but for the size I picked out it was on par for the height (over 8ft). read more

Had the loveliest time walking around picking out our tree here. The staff is SO incredibly nice, free hot cocoa and hot cider while you walk around, Christmas music playing and tons of lights. So happy to have been able to get our tree from here! read more

Prices were absolutely ridiculous. We walked right out. It feels like this place has gotten greedier and greedier as years have passed. They were already over priced, but now what they're trying to charge is laughable. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Some staff are rude as well. read more

Hmmmmmm. Sorry family owned.- golf idea cute. Sweet staff. Hot drinks free. Music lights! Try in g hard! But, Every tree was dead!!!! And Charlie browns. And beyond over priced. Tree Town Wonderland is an annual tradition for us! The trees are fantastic, the employees are super friendly and the atmosphere is really festive. Just took down our tree today after one full month and it still looked great and was hardly losing any needles. See you next year! read more

We had a great time and I was excited about our beautiful tree. I decided to bite the bullet and pay the $200. Two weeks later, our tree is dried out, hard, rough, branches breaking, branches drooping and ornaments falling off. Yes, it is watered! I have tried calling Tree Towne to discuss but they never answer the phone. Very disappointed. read more

This place was wonderful. I had a groupon and paid $80 for an amazing tree. Many trees were great priced, and it's worth the experience picking them out rather than a homedepot tent. Definitely recommend. They also helped load into the car and have roped available to help strap. read more

Great family atmosphere and very helpful people. They price strictly by tree size, so you find some gorgeous trees that are a great deal and others that look like a Charlie Brown tree with a long stem and so it's $200. It took some hunting but we ended up with a gorgeous tree for a much better price than the nursery right by my house. Free hot chocolate and cookies made the kids very happy. And now we're looking forward to coming back when they have the live reindeer! read more

We are counting down the days until Tree Town Wonderland opens. We've had an amazing opportunity to see some of the lights and the selection of Christmas Trees, wreaths, and garland that will be available - and we want o be the first ones there. Knowing the crew that will be running this Christmas experience I know it is going to be great. It's opening November 25th. I'll more on my review after the opening! read more

Tree Town Wonderland - Tree Town Wonderland is a great place for families to pick out their Christmas tree. - Christmas Trees Near Me - Denver, Colorado

We LOVE our tree, a perfectly fresh Fraser Fir, just the right height, just the right width, and have never had a fresher Christmas tree! The staff is super friendly, and we will return year after year! We are happy to support a local business, and guess what...you get what you pay for! Are the trees more expensive than corporate lots? Yes. Is it worth it? Heck yes! Quality is King! I wouldn't be surprised if this tree makes it to February'! We couldn't be more pleased! read more

My family and I have been getting our Christmas trees here for 6 years. We always knew they were overpriced, but we bought our tree there anyway bc of tradition. Every year we've been able to negotiate a cheaper price. Even if it was only $20, psychologically we felt better about paying an arm and a leg. This year, a man with a reddish beard refused to give us ANY kind of discount and blamed it on the owner. I said "how much can you give us off" and he flatly said "none". The prices this year were insane. I understand fires and inflation, but that doesn't mean you can rape people charging on average $300-$325 for 7-8' tree. And that price wasn't even for the better quality trees like Frasers that were typically $195-$210. We ended up going to Tomari's in Morrison next to Tiny Town and got an even nicer tree for $185 total, including taxes AND they threw in Miracle Grow tree food. I'm really sad knowing we won't be returning to Tree Town esp with how the guy was unapologetic and had zero customer service skills. If you own a business, you need to understand that when you make the customer feel like they got some kind of deal, no matter how small, they're way more apt to buy what you're selling. I know it wouldn't put the owner out much at all, but I guarantee they'll lose a lot of business with their new approach. That's business owning 101. read more

What an awesome experience to buy our Christmas trees at Tree Town Wonderland! I have lived in 7 states and have never seen such a wide selection of trees available. The help is great and Kent took wonderful care of us ensuring we had the perfect trees at the right price for our family. This is our second year going to TTW and we will be sure to go there for many years to come. read more

Tree Town Wonderland - Christmas morning. Waiting for the parents to wake up. - Christmas Trees Near Me - Denver, Colorado

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This is the third tree we have purchased from this place and the second one that quit taking on water and died 2 weeks after purchasing it. The first time this happened, he claimed that it only happens a few times a year. He was very nice and immediately replaced our tree. This year we were excited to give them our business again since they were so helpful last year. Well, here we are 2 weeks later with another dead tree. He offered to replace it yet again. But, when I asked for a refund instead, I was refused. He was incredibly rude to me and repeatedly cut me off. Do not go to Tree Town Wonderland unless you want to pay an insane amount for a tree that will die in 2 weeks. read more

This place isn't exactly what I was looking for but after driving to one place in boulder an being told that it was a cut your own an come to find there was only about 15 trees to cut down an wanted wel over 120$ for any tree it was a shame when my family an I pulled up this place was inviting an welcoming An there prices are perfect I paid 72$ for a 7 foot Douglas fir read more

This is our fifth year getting our tree here, and even though I've left five stars every year, i wish I could give them more than 5 stars! They have an awesome selection, and great prices, and went above and beyond this year! We specifically wanted a Silvertip Fir, and when they didn't have them in yet, Kent gave us his number, and texted us when they came in. No other tree place in town even carried them this year. Such wonderful and friendly service! read more

Way overpriced!!!trees start at $79 and are mostly $89-99. We bought a groupon and it was cheaper to not use it and buy a $40 tree at Home Depot. read more

I bought from them last year and was so happy with our purchase. This year the trees are WAY overpriced and not as nice. A $75 5 ft tree looks like a Charlie Brown tree. A decent 6 ft is $90-130! And its still not great. It feels like the company is taking advantage of Groupon and good reviews to steal from their customers. I called Groupon and canceled my purchase. I wont return to this place again. read more

SCAMMERS!!! Bought a groupon that outlined $59+ and at least 6' including a tree stand. When we got there, the lady said we'd have to buy our own tree stand and the tree has to be at least $120+ for them to honor it. Return your Groupons and shop small, not scammers read more

Such a cute place! So I'm a 30 year old woman who just wanted a tree, I was pleasantly surprised when my roommate and I walked into a cute little winter wonder land. Were it not for the EXORBITANT prices, I'd probably give them 4 stars. I've never seen so many $250+ dollar trees that looked so puny. It was nice to knock out seeing Santa and getting tree all in one fell swoop, but man on man do you pay for that privilege! The trees are extremely overpriced but the experience is pretty nice in comparison to some other places in town. But be prepared to PAY! read more

Loved the atmosphere! Good amount of trees and other decor to pick from! We ended up getting a beautiful tree and cute little Rudolph decoration :). Friendly, helpful workers! Will definitely return next year! read more

What a great experience! With Groupon the total cost of our 13' tree was $110 ($70+40 for the Groupon) -- the tree was listed as $165 before discount. It's gorgeous and this is an excellent price for this size tree, even without the Groupon! The kids loved the experience and all the "elves" on the lot were kind and helpful! We will always come here from now on! read more

We purchased a groupon to get a tree; however, the trees were incredibly overpriced. The selection was not good. $100 for a 6' tree that didn't look good. We will be asking for our money back from Groupon, and we will not return again. read more

Loved this place. The people working were so kind and helpful. Everyone was truly in the holiday spirit. Definitely recommend to any one looking for a Christmas tree. read more

This place was hardly a wonderland. No reindeer, no pretty lights, no family fun activities. It's basically a sub par mini golf course with way overpriced trees pre-cut along the course. It was a complete joke. We went because we had a groupon and it seemed like most other people were there for the same reason. There were a few people actually trying to sell their groupon to others there saying that the trees were way too expensive even with the groupon. My three year old was also very eager to see the reindeer and the fun festive events the website claims to have. Needless to say, we left with a very sad three year old and an overpriced tree. We won't be back. read more

What a fun experience! Got another beautiful fresh tree that I know will live far longer than the grocery store variety. Staff so friendly and helpful, great selection, and you can take pictures Santa (quite a good looking santa too!). Yes, the prices are a higher than you'd find at Home Depot (look for a coupon on their Facebook page), but the trees are fresh and will last a lot longer. Plus the whole place is just so fun! And they have some huge trees - maybe 20', if you're looking for something really tall. read more

This was our first year getting a tree here since our regular "cut your own" place was not open this year. We went during the afternoon and it was busy, but not completely out of control. I'm not the biggest fan of pre-cut trees, but after using a Living Social deal, we ended up with a great tree at what I believe was a reasonable price. It was a great place for the kids to run around a bit while looking for our tree. Santa and Mrs. Clause were there also, which was an added bonus. If ever buying a pre-cut tree, I would go here again, you just have to spend a little time looking for a tree that works for you, as you would anywhere else. We'll see how long it lasts! Service was great, the tree was netted and tied on the top of the car...good people! read more
