* DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE * On Sunday night around 7:00 PM, I brought my husband and daughter here this year, and witnessed a very heated and unprofessional scene!!! We were browsing for about 10 minutes, and decided on a 5" tree.. When my husband went to pay, suddenly we heard this very short man whom earlier greeted us (which I assume to be the OWNER,) screaming and threatening a girl in the parking lot. The small man was waving his fists at her, demanding her to leave immediately. The girl was shouting back, saying she would not leave until he paid her. He began to argue "YOU DON'T DESERVE MY MONEY! YOU SHOWED UP 20 MINUTES LATE EVERYDAY!" she was visibly upset, exclaiming he hadn't paid her and several other employees for weeks. He said it 'wasn't his problem', and they showed up 'late' as well. I went to the Bronco parkway lot. We had a wonderful experience, Steve and the crew were so wonderful, they are willing to help and talk to you. they cut , trim, load, and tie the tree it to the car for you . It is little pricey, but it is beautiful and well worth it for the freshness .I will deffantly recommend that lot to all my friends and family . read more

Santa Fe and Evans location: Is this a car lot or a Christmas Tree lot?! I went twice because I bought 2 deals, one for my daughter and myself. Both times we were harassed through the entire process. One worker even said to me (after we told him we were just looking) that 'There needs to be some kind of communication for this to work.' $79.99 for a tree? Ridiculous! Don't go here. We probably would have never decided to visit Tree Land if it weren't for the Living Social coupon that they are offering ($40 for $89 towards a tree). I've been experiencing quite a bit of online coupon fatigue lately, but we wanted to get a big, beautiful tree for our new home. Tree Land did not disappoint. They set us up with a 11 foot tall fraser fir, the "Cadillac of trees," that nicely fills our space. They also threw in an additional $10 discount, cut the tree, and tied it to the roof of our station wagon for us. The lot is smaller than others I've been to, but the trees are quality. My only complaint is that a lot of the trees we looked at were bound in the lot, which makes it hard to determine how it will look when it is opened up at home. DO NOT go here! We were lured by a coupon from the website, which was my first mistake. Then, when we went to the main location on Santa Fe, none of the trees were priced. They said "$10 per foot" is what you can expect... So we find a 9 foot tree, and the lot attendant pulls out a sheet of paper with a list of pricing... $189.99??? WTF??? Long story short, I hate to say it, but the lot is staffed with some gentlemen from a homeless camp. They work very hard, but are obviously getting some kind of kickback for how high they can sell the trees. The "manager" was NOT a people person, and appeared to be given the title because he's the one who holds the chainsaw... It was a bit disheartening to also see him open a can of "something", and begin just eating out of it just like a hobo on the train car. Please don't get me wrong, I have the utmost respect for those who are marginalized or down on their luck. What TOTALLY pissed me off, is, after we talked them down after almost walking away, the guy who helped put the tree on our car, said that he was going to call an attorney because he wanted to take the company to court. They evidently have not paid him for 2 weeks of back pay... THEN, he proceeded to tell us that he only works for TIPS, by loading trees on cars... WHAAAAAT?????? How could he be missing "back pay" when he only works for tips???? Ugh!!! I'm reporting this company to the BBB. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Lesson learned. read more

We had a tree delivered from Tree Land. It was the driest, deadest Christmas tree we had ever seen. Turns out that the trees are imported from out of state, and, this year, we had a very cold freeze (down to 20 degrees below zero). Apparently the trees were cut from a tree farm down south, shipped to Colorado, and had frozen during shipment or storage. We will never deal with this company again! read more

Please understand these trees are not just scalped in the forest, their plantation grown for 5 to 15 years and shaped yearly with big machetes. Purchasing live trees supports a huge amount of families and farmers. Artificial trees stay in land fields for ever. fake trees are harmful and can lead to Cancer, they are known to have several carcinogens, including dioxin, ethylene dichloride and vinyl chloride used in the production of PVC. Please understand $20 up to $70 coupons are "towards" a tree not for a tree! We do have other coupons for a tree please read the coupons carefully, this is the biggest complaint that we don't get to assist when people get upset because they didn't read the coupon correctly. Tree land also has a donation fund set up for families that need assistance for the holidays or just a nice tree for the family in tough times. We do not ask for donations, we use the money from the sales of trees from great customers who purchase with Tree Land. Your money goes a long way helping single mothers, or just someone in need. First, let me say that our Christmas tree from TLCT is fresh and beautiful. I must also add that their lot employees were pleasant and helpful. What you must watch out for is being overcharged. Their website said that their most expensive, non-discounted Fraser Fir 8 foot tree, was 79.99. We were charged $99.00. We bought a Groupon ($40 credit for $20) and were asked, before the tree price was quoted, if we had a Groupon. We, of course, said "yes". Then, $99.00 was quoted. Further, they charge 10% tax, which is clearly inflated. They have Christmas tree lots all over the Denver metro area and do offer delivery, which cost us a reasonable $25. After doing the math and ignoring the hefty tax, we were overcharged $23. While this may not seem like much, it certainly made me question their honesty and integrity. TLCT uses couponing to attract you to their lots. As long as you know, upfront, what's going to happen and you're okay with it, these folks have some very nice Christmas trees. read more

I went to two different locations for this company. The staff was very friendly, but the trees are just plain over priced. The company lures people in with coupons for over priced trees. I bought a coupon on Amazon Local that turned out to be the same "deal" as a the free coupons that the company uses. The problem is that I spent $20 on the coupon. I had to purchase my tree at this company or loose out on $20. They also shape or trim the tree which leaves brown tips. Don't waste your time on these over priced, poor quality trees. read more

This place is a scam. They are over charging for Christmas trees and the service is horrible. Due to them scamming people with living social deals they are charging $70 for trees that are worth no more than $30 anywhere else. It is the holidays and they are scamming people. Just bought a tree from here and had a great experience. Got a Living Social deal for $20 for $40. The family there were very helpful, helped me find the right tree, trimmed it, and tied it to my car. Would definitely recommend and go back! read more
