    Magnificent view!

    Excellent place to vacation, we go at least once a year and sometimes more! We've always enjoyed our stay in an oceanfront home with our entire family and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately we booked (4346 Island Dr) with Treasure Realty in Sneade's Ferry and the home was in extremely poor condition and unclean. Treasure Realty and its agents minimized our concerns and did not address the unclean condition of our vacation property during our week's stay and only offered a discount after we filed a complaint with BBB. We chose to refuse their $200 and reserve the right to review the property. Our view was magnificent but you'll see from the pictures of the property why we chose to spend the majority of our time outside even after all 9 of us thoroughly cleaned what we were able. We'll definitely go back but won't use Treasure Realty or book 4346 Isalnd Dr.

    Absolutely horrible experience with the rental of beach house. We frequently go to Topsail for holiday, and have never had an experience as awful as dealing with Treasure Realty. Upon arrival the hot tub was green and had large amounts of sand in it (we had paid an additional $200 for "activation" and fresh fill and had verified with the manager the night before that it would be ready upon arrival). They sent a technician out and he added some chlorine and said it was normal. This is definitely not accurate. We have rented homes with a hot tub numerous times and never had this occur. No refund or apology was offered. We definitely should have been refunded the hot tub activation fee since it was unused the entire trip (water stayed discolored). The indoor jacuzzi tub was also inoperable. They offered to send a technician to diagnose, but the last thing I want while on holiday is to have a service person in our living area. Unfortunately the nightmare was just beginning. We stayed during the renourishment project and we were assured that the work was heading away from our rental. Upon day 1 we realized the central hub of the project was infact 2 lots away from the rental. We were awoken every morning at 6 am sharp to the sounds of dump trucks unloading sand. The constant beeping and smell of diesel fuel from 4 to 5 front loaders continued daily (including Saturday) until 6pm. I reached out to the manager, Tyler, to inform him of the status and his response was "thanks for the info". I feel we were intentionally misinformed about the scope of the renourishment, and if we had the facts could have saved ourselves a lot of disappointment. As if this was not enough incompetency for the week, mid-afternoon while preparing lunch a relator from a different company entered the rental without our permission using the lock code that treasure reality provided her! Our poor 7 pound dog was going crazy and it was very upsetting. An unannounced entry to the home we thought we had privacy in! I called TR and they said they didn't realize they were showing the home to potential buyers that week! WOW! I did not feel comfortable even being in the house, not knowing who else had the lock code. A horrible experience from beginning to end.

    We have been coming to Topsail island for 20 plus years, the scenery is always amazing!! It was our first time with this particular rental company, also our last!! Dust, dirt and mold in multiple places. Worst part was air conditioning quit working when it was 95 degrees outside. We called the realtor and they said they could "maybe" get someone out the same day. At first they said that "opening the windows could cause further damage to the unit and disallow a repair." After numerous texts, we were finally told it would be ok to open the windows. Quick to take your money, slow to correct an issue!!

    This is our 16th trip to Topsail Island. It is the first (AND LAST) time we will ever rent from Treasure Realty. (It is also the most we have paid for a week's stay) The property (Ocean Green) at 538 Ocean Drive was in a great location & the bed was very comfortable. That is all the good points. As for the bad...the house was filthy. Dirt on the walls & doors, both ovens were so disgusting I would never use them, there was a lot of dust & dead bugs laying around, the sink was scummy, the water & ice dispenser on the fridge had to be cleaned as well as the washing machine. The washing machine was in the basement under a burnt out bulb (no spares) & we had to use a flashlight to use it. ALL the kitchen cabinets were jammed full with dented, dirty pans & there was no room at all for our stuff. I have contacted Treasure Realty (& sent pictures), but have had no response. I guess once they have my money they could care less.

    The worst rental agency I have ever dealt with . My family has vacationed for the last 20 years in nc for Thanksgiving . We decided to use treasure realty . When we arrived the place was not thoroughly cleaned. Dusty throughout and dirty dishes in the cabinets. Gnats flying all around , stained couches, Cheerios under the couch . Day 2 into our visit the breaker to the refrigerator and dishwasher tripped . I called the care team to report the outage along with the gnat problem. I was told they could not guarantee a repair guy but would contact the owner about having repairs to the appliances . I told them that I thought it was only a tripped breaker if someone would tell me where it was I could flip the switch myself . I told the lady that I had food in the refrigerator and did not want the food to be lost. I asked to speak to someone else above her . I spoke with Lori who told me to not worry a repair guy would come and check the breaker in 1 to 1/2 hour . To go about my day . I returned in 2 hours and no repair guy had arrived . I called again and spoke with some one else who had no idea of my situation . I found the breaker myself and the power was restored. I contacted the office to tell them . No one ever called to find out if everything was working fine or addressed the gnat situation. I will never ever rent from them again !!!! 842 villas drive !!! To the owner !! You have a nice rental property with beautiful views . I suggest you get another management team !!

    Where do I start. 11 of my family rented a beachfront house at 2204 So. Shore Drive in Surf City. Paid $5500 for the week. We unloaded my Jeep and put the luggage on the bed. Was the worst bed I've ever slept on. I dont know how it was still standing. I sat down on and it made bad squeaking noises with the very lightest movement and the smallest queen size I've ever seen. Each day I slept in it made me hurt even worse. Every time one of us moved, it woke up the other one. Now let's start on the livingroom furniture. There was a couch, a recliner and 2 nasty chairs that I wouldn't put out for the homeless. Nasty dirty, stained and unfit for setting on. Went to pull the bed out on the sofa, it was covered in sand. I was afraid to look at the bed on it. Accidentally moved one of the chairs and the floor under it was filthy where it had not been moved for cleaning. The banister on the back deck facing the ocean was so loose, one could've literally kicked it right off with no force on it. The floor of the deck was in disrepair also. The second day there, I got stuck in the homes elevator. Called the number for the realtor on the weekend, nothing could be done but call 911. A family member kept messing with the buttons, and was able to get me out. Found out I was claustrophobic in those situations. The downstairs was so hot at night that it was hard to sleep. I wondered why box fans were supplied in all of the bedrooms. There were 2 ottomins that were supposed to fold out and slept on but, I was afraid to fold it out because they looked like they were picked up from someone's trash. Appliances were junk. There was an electrical box with exposed wires. My husband went to the office before we left to talk to someone about everything but it being 4th July weekend, no one was available. Receptionist said she would report the issues and have someone get back to us. My husband called the owner of realty company and has never received a phone call back. We also found out that this house and a couple beside of it were not even supposed to be built but, I guess money talks. We're not looking for any money but, just some acknowledgement that the issues will be addressed. First impressions are everything and wow. Treasure Realty should be ashamed to have their name on this house. Was the most awful place I've ever seen. This was the third time we've been to Topsail. Love it there. Should've went with our previous realtor at Topsail Realty.

    Pet hair everywhere!

    My family and I rented 4th street 4007 in Surf City, NC for a week and this place was disgusting. Dog hair everywhere, musty dog smell, roaches, lights on the deck not working, appliances not working, a rusted shower head etc. I could go on and on. Employees would come everyday (who were nice) would try to resolve the issues but this ate into our vacation time and the issues were not resolved during our stay. We were told by management that we would receive a compensation package. After days of waiting to hear what the package would be, came out to $50... I couldn't believe it. $50 of all the the time fixing this dirty house. We were told the house was habitable - "if a ceiling fell then that's when we would give more" that's what we were told by an employee... I couldn't believe my ears. A ceiling should fall on my family before I receive a good compensation package? This company does not hold their rentals to any standard. As long as you have a roof over your head that's all that matters. When we ask for a manager to give us a call back, no one would call us back. I am a fair person. I worked hard to get to a place where I can take time off for my family to have a decent vacation. I believe many families are just like me. The fact that this company didn't have the decency to ensure that the house was clean and appropriate for a family to stay in BEFORE the family got there then had the audacity to say that it was "habitable" is insane. I didn't pay for habitable, I paid for a nice clean vacation house with working appliances. My biggest issue was that when we would ask to speak to a manager no one would call us back. Who knows maybe they have other properties that are better than this one... but I wouldn't risk it and I wouldn't recommended this company to my worst enemy. During your vacation stay, you don't want to spend time cleaning and waiting for maintenance every day. And you want a company to give a damn about your comfort. Stay far away.

    This is the result of seriously dirty floors and a "No shoe policy."

    This company is BS. They rented me a house with cockroaches. They even admitted it, but they called…read morethem Palmetto bugs. Prior to finding the bugs outside I squished 2 in the house, I was a little weirded out but decided to roll with it. After looking around the house it was dirty, the counters were sticky, dishes that were dirty were in the silverware drawer, plates in the cabinet were dirty. The pot holders looked like they had never been washed. When we saw the multitude of roaches outside we bolted, before we even unpacked. The Cool Story home needs an exterminator. Heck maybe the entire company needs an exterminator to put it out of everyone's misery. So disappointed The company has declined my refund....... Frickin' cockroaches carry at least 66 different diseases. Go do some research.

    We arrived at the house and everything REEKED OF DOG PEE. We went room to room and noticed a dog…read morehad peed on just about every single rug it was DISGUSTING! We contacted them and the next day The company offered to have the house cleaned AGAIN and sent over the same ladies who failed to clean it correctly the first time. They advised me that "the prior guest was a 2 week stay with a dog (who apparently peed all over) and they spent over 4 hours in the home trying their best to remedy what they could on the Sunday turn after the guest checked out to make it as ready as possible for you. The rolled up rugs in the kitchen was accidentally left behind by the inspector, who was absolutely mortified she forgot it when we asked her about it." (Rugs that were covered in pee and also left other rugs around the home with pee on them) They also sent over a maintenance person to clear out the COMPLETELY unusable fenced in dog area that was covered in weeds and pickers. Also almost every fence post is worn/unnailed and the dogs push them aside and can go in and out. (So not fenced in) LASTLY when I asked them what the owner said regarding compensation they stated they can only reimburse me $470 which is ONE nights stay. We had cockroaches and an infestation of ants because none of the windows or doors seal. I went back and looked at the photos online that I looked at before renting the house. THEY WERE ALMOST UNRECOGNIZABLE ! It seems they used photos from years ago when someone actually took care of the house and still promoted the house as being updated 2024. Will never use ACCESS REALTY AGAIN OR STAY HERE!!!

    Absolutely terrible. The rental we had was dirty, and you could tell this company does the bare…read moreminimum. There was trash on the floor. One toilet was broken, and they never sent anyone to fix. Yet some stranger was there "cleaning" the hot tub for no reason, and it was also dirty when he left. Coastline also defines incompetence. Our rental had electric locks, yet an employee insisted we pick up keys. We show up, no keys. "Oh, the place has electric locks." You're just now realizing that? They also left a sign from the previous rental company up, so Coastline obviously doesn't pay attention. If not knowing a place doesn't have keys and leaving an old sign up is any indication, steer clear of Coastline.

I also provided her with a copy of my official orders. This is where the issues start. Kimberley contacted me and told me that my orders weren't official and that my request to terminate my lease was denied. Any reputable property management company would contact the unit and verify the authenticity of the orders, but I guess Coastline doesn't operate this way. Instead they are demanding "official" orders. And to top it all off they are giving me a deadline to provide this to them or else I'm on the hook for the rent until my lease is up. I'll update you guys on my experience once everything is resolved.

    I have been a tenant with them for over a year now…read more I have never been late on my rent. I have had issues with them sending strangers to my house, never scheduling the appointments with me first, or even verifying someone coming to my home. My privacy has been violated, on top of the constant harassment, they have raised my rent because I refuse to sign another lease. Not only am I receiving additional stress from financial pressure, as well as constant traffic from strangers in/ out of my home, the intimidation aspect they try and pull on someone is just appalling.

We decided to rent one of Choice's properties over at 445 Spring Drive in Jacksonville N.C. The last tenants left that house a mess. The house suffered minor roof damage from Hurricane Florence which led to leaks in both guest bedrooms and the garage. Choice was so inconsiderate when it came down to trying to get that roof repaired. In late October /early November , they sent 4 different adjusters over to the house to assess the damages and all 4 times , choice demanded for someone to be home. (notices came literally 1 day before). The roof didn't get repaired until January 28th Thanksgiving was November 22nd. November 23rd, our refrigerator stopped working resulting in us losing all of our food. I reported it to choice immediately. Around November 27th, they sent repair man #1 out to look at the refrigerator and he said that we needed a whole new unit . I relayed the message to Choice and they told me that they wanted a second opinion. We waited another 3 days for repair man #2 to show up for him to say the exact same thing as #1. They finally decided to replace the refrigerator and we had to wait for Lowe's to deliver a new one. That took another 3 days. Choice didn't apologize not one time nor did they offer to compensate us for lost food. We received military orders to the west coast and had to end the lease early. We've only been in the home for 3 months & a half and Choice charged us over 1000.00 in fees and charges. Stephanie admitted to the carpet having permanent brown stains (which I notated at move-in) but she still expected me to have the carpet professionally cleaned. She also conducted a move out inspection without bringing the move in checklist to the inspection. She dinged us for things we notated at move-in. This is absurd ! People! Save yourselves the headache and rent elsewhere.!!!
