After reading the 3 reviews on yelp, 2 good 1 bad. I thought I should tell it like it is with Slaco…read moreand Andrew the owner. I have been using Slaco for at least 3-4 years he repaired & cleaned my original computer. Then I bought one from him 18 months ago and it has performed perfectly and was reasonably priced. Andrew discussed at length with me my requirements and various options for a new computer based on my usage and tech savviness (not great). In all this time with say 4-5 visits to Slaco, Andrew has been the perfect gentleman, and also giving lots of advice in plain language. I don't know what planet the person who gave the bad review is from, but I firmly believe that people who have had a bad experience are far more likely to post a review, and that is another reason why I had to write this review. Definitely one of the dodgier computer stores I've bought from over the decades…read more I bought a new system from them recently, and maybe it's my fault for wanting to save a bit of money, but they cut corners and do a shoddy job. For one thing, they manage to offer the cheapest quality motherboards possible, so i have almost no room to expand my computer later on. The power supply is barely powerful enough for what they installed, with no room to expand further except replacing it with something powerful. The drives were installed haphazardly without proper mounting brackets, in one case screwed in sideways across three drive slots. One of the more egregious problems is that they sell me a board that is only compatible with dual ATI video cards but proceed to install an Nvidia GPU instead. So when i do upgrade the computer, i'm on the hook for buying two video cards anyhow Worst of all, instead of a modern OS, they installed Windows 7 and then "upgraded" it to Windows 10. In the process they somehow managed to mangle the installation and leave fundamental programs unworkable. I literally couldn't even open the Calendar or open the Windows Store on a clean install. If a computer store can't even install Windows correctly, how can i trust them to actually sell a computer. I'm enough of a geek to know how to dig into Windows Powershell and eventually fix the numerous problems, but that is simply not something i should have to do on a brand new computer. I will not be trusting this company with any of my problems in the future.

We have been to Benjamin Moore many times at their old location on 202nd Street in Walnut Grove and…read morebenefited from excellent service. Unfortunately, my husband went in to his favourite (no longer) paint store and received awful advice based on very specific details from him regarding what he wanted painted and the coverage he needed for an outdoor deck. When he started using the paint and discovered the manager had sold him the wrong paint, he called back and was rudely told that he was to blame. I went back with the paint to the store and the manager was also dismissive with me. Both of us have recommended this store to other homeowners, but never again.

But if your office doesn't have someone with analytical computer-thinking skills, you may want to stay away from Ricoh machines. The driver installation is not plug and play, the paper instruction manual leaves much to be desired, and the menu tree of the settings isn't organized in a way that is logical to the average person (although they may have improved on these aspects since 2005). We were trying to do something a little bit fancy (like emailing the faxes to ourselves instead of having it print out all the junk faxes), and the Sales guy had trouble helping us. He came around a few times, but I think we just figured it out ourselves through trial and error. They have a smart system for service calls. I sent an email to "dispatch" as described on their email, and a guy showed up at my office less than 3 hours later (which is good, except I had asked that he contact me to arrange a time. Good thing I wasn't out at the time). We still have that same Ricoh machine from five and a half years ago. No complaints.
