Food here was fireeeee! Would highly recommend! Also the service was so friendly which I found kind of a rarity on Culebra/ PR in general. Seriously worth the stop, super authentic and very affordable. Can't wait to go back.

Bbq place for night owls/snowbirds. We ordered two dinners consecutively and it was the best available option when we were there. - chick salad: good size with tender meat - chicken wing (Alitas frita): tender chicken wings - cordon blue and sorullitos de maiz are great local appetizers. they are fried ham cheese ball wrapped with chicken meat, and fried corn dough. - grill ribs with guava sauce: guava sauce is on the sweet side. I would prefer their regular bbq sauce.

Menu Item: Costilla en Salsa de Guayaba con Papas Fritas y Amarillos (ribs in guayaba BBQ sauce with fries and fried plantain)

Couldn't find this place on Yelp so I added it. We tried out the restaurant but they also have a bar, which can be seen in pictures on their Facebook page. Our waiter was a little impatient but was friendly and attentive. The staff and everyone behind the counter was welcoming and cheerful. Seating for the restaurant may be small for large groups but capacity is around twenty. The atmosphere is café-style with some seaside decor. They also have an ice cream selection available in the restaurant. We ordered the ribs in guayaba BBQ sauce and the grouper filet in a garlic sauce. The grouper was flakey and moist and was garnished with sautéed peppers and onions. The garlic sauce over the filet was a bit salty for one of us but not bad. The ribs were pork spare ribs, cooked perfectly, and were outstanding. The meat fell off the bone and was tender and juicy. The guayaba BBQ sauce was fantastic. It had a traditional BBQ flavor with a Caribbean twist. Also worth noting, the fries, fried plantain, and arepa were also really good. The arepa reminded us of Native American frybread. This place may not look like much on the outside but the food was definitely worth the stop. The staff was nice, the food was plentiful and delicious, and the price was right. I definitely recommend checking this place out for a hearty, flavorful meal.

We came after COVID restrictions had been lifted but the island is still feeling the effects of the hurricane and covid. Most restaurants aren't open and the ones that are close early. Luckily this place was open past 6 pm. We waited in line to place our order and they got our number so they could call us once it was ready. We had the ribs with guava sauce which was really good. The ribs were really tender. The arepas were also good. I also enjoyed the fried sweet plantains. My friend enjoyed his grouper filet. He also got fried pork (carne frita?) and it was soooo dry and had no flavor. It came on top of plain white rice which didn't help. The chicken wings were basically chicken nuggets and I don't think we would order those again. Overall we enjoyed it.

We were driving into town looking for a place to eat and this jumped out at us with its homey front patio. Even though it didn't have many Yelp reviews, we decided to give it a try and were happy we did. The owner Victor was super friendly and attentive, and the food was really good at reasonable prices. Victor spent some time telling us about Culebra including off the beaten path beach recommendations. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to go to a less touristy place where locals eat.

The owner apparently feeds a good number of street cats and we loved the additional company. Our waitress (Heather maybe?) was incredible, giving us menu suggestions as well as tips for our visit to Culebritas we had planned for the next day. She was super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her and learning a little of the history of the restaurant. The food was mostly amazing- we loved the escargot, it was a different preparation than I've had before with a sort of buttery herby sauce. Also loved the sides, the beans and rice were top notch and the mixed mash was very fun and interesting though a little dry without sauce- delicious with some sauce from other dishes. I heard very good things about the chicken and shrimp; unfortunately one star off as my husband and I bought got the Mahi-mahi and it was rather chewy and tough. The flavor was there but didn't really enjoy the texture. I would 100% go back and get the shrimp though!

We started with a bottle of wine similar to a Chardonnay. But let's talk food. I ordered the escargot. If you know anything about me it's that I absolutely love escargot. I will order them any where I can. I have tried them everywhere from NY to Ca and even Spain and Italy. Susies hands down wins in this category. The butter garlic combination is amazingly delicious. And they don't skimp on the escargot. There's plenty of them unlike other places that count them. The service at Susie's? As friendly and as personable as you want. Every one is happy and pleasant but then again you live on the best island that has the #3 best beach (Flamenco). I had the machi machi. Excellent choice! Plus the rice and beans which I grew up on, however they did not make them with sofrito which is really the secret ingredient to making them. But still delicious nonetheless. Over all, I'll continue to visit Susies each day every time I'm here. Since it was my birthday we ordered the Carmel cheese cake to go. Because some things need to be eaten in private. Shhh....

This place had locals trickling in and was packed by the time we were forks deep into our meal. We ordered the 1/2 lb. BBQ chicken, beef broth rice, sweet plantains and yuca. SO GOOD! The chicken was juicy and full of flavor, rice was cooked perfectly with a beef rib in it, plantains were sweet and savory & yuca had a garlic flavor combo that made it the best yuca I have had to date! If only we had found this place before our last night in Culebra, we would have probably eaten here 2+ times a day here. Prices & food are an amazing value!! Oh and try the pique sauce, it's a local hot sauce at the front counter - it pairs very well with their plates.
