The Cuisine is a good variety of Carribean Creole, which I absolutely love. For appetizers, we had Bacalaitos and Queso Frito and for my main dish, I had the Milanesa with Rice and Beans. I wasn't crazy about the sauce and cheese on top of the Milanesa, but it was still good. Both of the appetizers were amazing! El Platanal has various locations, with the one in Carolina being the original. The rooftop now has an actual roof, which took away a lot of the open sky, but it is still open enough to see it without being affected by rain. Service was fantastic, as were drinks. On this trip, the appetizers were great and the main entrees were okay. From what I heard, the entire concept will be changing after they shut down in mid-November and re-open in December.
