I got a great experience with TRC Multimedia. This is my first review on Yelp. They designed a logo for my business. It was awesome for my business. I got a professional, branded and high quality logo from TRC Multimedia. I'm glad to see their good behavior. I just told them my company name and about my business. Then They designed my logo in a little time. Really they are professional, open-minded and good guys. I would highly recommend TRC Multimedia for any kind of Graphic Design. I'm very happy with their service. Thanks TRC Multimedia. read more

Absolutely do not advertise with this company. Their customer service is terrible. They do not listen to their customers. I was not satisfied with the ad that they prepared for my company. I DID NOT approve it. I requested a refund multiple times and they mailed me a copy of the printed ad. Horrible customer service. read more

This review is in regard to TRC's "Reliable Choice". Pitched as a high end magazine/mailer targeting affluent demographics, the publication is little more then a crap hand out found at the corner gas station. Generic photography, ill formatted text, poorly written articles, and amateur graphic design on a backdrop of flimsy card stock radiate mediocrity and cheapness. I assure you, "reliable choice" erodes any legitimate brand equity your company may hold in its respective marketplace. I have a hard time believing any upscale leisure/entertainment establishment would place this publication in the hands of members or clients. read more

Follow up: After writing a detailed email and leaving an irate message with the contact person at TRCMM regarding our frustration and concerns, we were immediately refunded and our requests were addressed fairly quickly. We did request to have our ads pulled, as the demographic and experience were not what we were looking for. Although our initial experience was challenging, the responsiveness and the ownership of responsibility for the difficulties and challenges we experienced with TRCMM by TRCMM was actually a positive experience. If you are planning to do business with this company, please please do your homework and know your demographic. read more

So this time it's "Dylan" who is calling with the same scam that others have experienced. Fortunately I found the reviews on here first. I was intrigued that they had either 5 star reviews or one star reviews. After a little digging it appears that the five star reviews are phonies, done by proxies or fake people for a side of the business which is not related to what they were trying to sell me. It's classic hard sell. If you waffle they offer a discount then pull the old used-car salesman routine saying the supervisor is standing right behind them and authorizing a super duper price. When I told him I wanted a day to consult with my marketing person he got clearly agitated and more or less ended the call in an impolite manner. These people should probably all be in jail as far as I can tell. read more

These guys are scammers. I opened a business last year and they contacted me about high end advertising in a golf publication. It smelled a little fishy but it sounded worth a shot so I did it. I had to follow up with them about submitting artwork, though they had immediately invoiced and billed me via my credit card. They called to try to get me to renew a few months later and when I told the woman on the phone I didn't think so, I never even saw the first magazine, she hung up on me. I never heard from them again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.... Nope. read more

This company is a scam. Cody called my business (wedding industry) unsolicited, asking for us to buy an ad in their publication that was being mailed out to "members of 3 country clubs". I asked for a hard copy to review, and he would not mail one. When I asked if they had any referrals from other businesses who had success with them, I was transferred to a supervisor named Eric. When I asked for a digital copy of a local edition, he said he would see what he could do and call me back. I called one of the country clubs they were supposedly "mailing" to, and spoke with a supervisor -- they said they have never heard of TRC multimedia, and would never sell their member's addresses. Based on some reviews, it seems there may be a section of the company that does legitimate work, however selling advertising in country clubs to wedding vendors is not part of that. read more

I was 'aggressively' contacted by "X" from TRC MULTI MEDIA about advertising in "THREE EXCLUSIVE COUNTRY CLUBS", that the "'country clubs had specifically asked for my company" to advertise. When I requested to see 'previous copies of magazines' from my area, BEFORE I commit to $600 in advertising Sales rep "X" 'balked', said "I was making excuses'. talked to 'manager' who 'seemed nice' and promised to send 'previous copies,' from warehouse, no problem', only to receive e-mail from 'original sales person' LAUGHING' that I dared to talk to manager ( who she said was in fact actually another sales rep, and NOT A MANAGER) ! This company is a scam. I should have gone with my gut instinct. After taking my payment and promising to advertise in their magazine at several prominent Golf Clubs, I got nada. I have made multiple attempts to obtain a copy of the magazine only to be shuffled from one person to another. Cody hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. Eric, one of the managers promised to send a copy out immediately. Now he won't return calls and no magazine has ever shown up. DO NOT give them any money. They are horrible scammers. read more

Just got the hard sell from these guys too. They were happy to call me back many times, but when I asked for local references, they gave me the cold shoulder. Obviously, not a reputable company. read more

They called and told me they had a publication that went out to 3 local country clubs and even emailed me a sample magazine. I gave them $300 to advertise in the publication and I have not heard from anyone ever again. Can't get a call back and no one ever answers when I call, no return emails, nothing. They are scam artists. Do not do business with them. Disputing the charges with my bank now. Save yourself a lot of hassle and headache and hang up on them. As a small business owner I'm mad I fell for it. They are very convincing. So upset. read more

STAY AWAY! You would have better luck betting $600 on black or Red at the Roulette table at the Casino! You for sure will not get a return on your money advertising with this company. Please don't use any of these publications, no matter what they are called, and there are many names....they are scams and although they may say they are distributed at the country clubs, if they are, they are thrown away. It is considered junk mail. I checked with all the local clubs. I lost money for my business, as did my friend (over $1000 between us). Stay away read more

BEWARE!!! In January 2016, I was contacted by phone to advertise in a vendor resource publication that was to be distributed to local Golf Communities in my City (three of which were named and I was very familiar with). The person who called said the advertising spot was going to be reserved for only two Businesses in each category in the whole area and kept reducing the price for the ad until I agreed to pay $500 for a quaterly distribution of the 60-70 page publication with wide readership. My credit card was debited the amount immediately and about a month later, I received an email from the "Graphics Department" to work on my ad; this went back and forth for two months, which was then finalized. I was told that the they were a little behind and the first publication would not be sent out until late Spring. I called beginning May to find out if the publication came out and where my copy was......I checked with the various Country Clubs May-June and never saw the publication and those who run these facilities said they never heard of it, there was no such book; it didn't exist. Since June and making several calls a week; I received a copy of this bogus publication (something they must send out to those who continue to contact them for proof). The booklet is something that you could print off from their home computer and instead of 60-70 pages, it is 40 with duplicate ads inside; ads of businesses from different States, a lot of copy and paste pages, multiple businesses instead of two for each category, the same information printed on different pages, etc. So embarassed on how the booklet looks and the lack of any distribution to these Gold Communities, I started calling the company to get a refund. It has now been a month, no calls back, no emails returned, no response to BBB of Florida. I am appauled with the number of complaints and negative feedback that this company has received and they continue to get away with this. DO NOT GET SCAMMED! THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE NOT TRUE! PUBLICATION DOES NOT EXIST AND IS NOT DISTRIBUTED!! read more

I bought ads for two of my businesses over a year ago. After many calls and messages left, I was finally sent a book with my ads in it. However, those books were to go out to country club members in our area four times a year. They never went out to one person. This is such a SCAM business. Unfortunately not enough people look up businesses before spending money with them so I guess that is how this company has managed to stay afloat. read more

Back at the end of May, 2015, I received a phone call from Melanie at TRC Multimedia (http://trcmultimedia.com/). She called and told me that she works for a publishing company, that could market my custom drapery/upholstery business to members of high end golf courses. In addition, she said that I would have an exclusive advertisement in all three magazines, as they guarantee incredible results, through loyalty to one company per category. . She asked me if I was interested in reaching up to 17,500 members of three high end Golf/Country Clubs. Like a lot of the other reviews, I thought it was too good to be true. Instead of trusting my instinct and running away, I told her I was quite interested and gave her my credit card number. She charged my American Express $250 at the time with the other $250 due at the time of distribution. I was told that someone from their graphics department would be in touch, to have the ad designed the way I wanted it. I told her that I already had an advertisement, however I wanted to add a coupon to the advertisement. I waited for nearly a month and never had any contact with the company during this duration. I decided to call right before the 4th of July Holiday and they told me that they were waiting on me to approve the advertisement. I told them that I did not have a copy to approve. By the days end, I had a copy of the advertisement, which was simply my advertisement, Photo-shopped with a tiny little star that said 20% off on the inside of it. I called the next day to complain and the advertisement was reworked to my approval a couple to a few days later. Continuing on, about two weeks ago I received a phone call from another sales person within their company offering me an exclusive advertisement for my company in the drapery and upholstery categories. I then knew it was a scam, as I already had an exclusive in those categories. I called out the salesperson who in turn used the excuse I'm new to the company and just trying to learn and he was very sorry. I hung up with him, called my contact who apologized profusely. I told him at that point it was a scam, only to be told that I should take it easy on the new guy. Today, July 23rd, 2015, I called one last time to ask when the magazine would be coming out and how I could get my hands on a copy. The response I got from the company was that they were still looking for companies to advertise so that they could fill the quota and get the magazine published and distributed. I told them that that magazine was supposed to come out the last Friday in June, The gentleman on the other end of the phone argued with me over the publishing date as well. At this point I called Bullsh*t on them. I told them I wanted a full refund. They said OK but I would have to wait 72 hours so that they could contact American Express. I was quite adamant and said it does not take 72 hours to call AMEX. I could do it as soon as I hung up the phone. The person on the other end of the phone told me if I contacted AMEX to dispute the charges, they would send over a copy of the signed contract to AMEX, stating that I singed an agreement not to cancel. At this point instead of being bullied by TRC Multimedia, I called AMEX and started a fraud inquiry with the company as well as disputed the charges. AMEX said that this company is well known for the business ethics being shallow and pedantic. After ending my conversation with the AMEX fraud department, I called the Florida Attorney General. They are quite aware of this company and their scams, but are just waiting to be able to catch them in the act and pounce on them. The Florida AG's office said it's just a matter of time...Just a matter of time!! Finally, I made three phone calls this morning to the three golf courses/country clubs I was promised advertising at. All three General Managers said it was a hoax. Not one of the three ever heard of TRC Multimedia, nor do they have any programs of this kind. Makes you wonder where people get their Chutzpah from!!!! I will post a follow up once everything is taken care of and settled. read more

We were contacted by phone by TRC Multimedia offering us advertising in local publication for nearby golf clubs. A contract was signed and payment of $200 was paid for this advertising. We were told that publication would be in April, then in May but they no longer answer my emails. The local golf clubs were contacted and have no knowledge of this publication but have said that others have also contacted them. TRC Multimedia has effectively stolen $200 as they have not produced a publication and will not answer subsequent emails. read more

This company is a scam, do not buy any advertising for their so called publications or magazines they say will be distributed. (Golf, country clubs, etc.) As a business owner that was contacted from where I used to be located further north, I was able to do a little bit of digging with some other colleagues that got the calls, and see the publications don't actually exist where they say they are. They make you think they do. Call the actual places where they say they are being distributed if you need further proof. If you get a phone call from an Eric, hang up, or if you get do get additional information, contact your local agency or the BBB and provide them the details. Do not give them any credit card information!!! read more

I was just contacted by http://trcmultimedia.com/magazine/ by a lady named Charlotte. Charlotte spoke very quickly, making it difficult to write down the details of what she was trying to sell me. Long story short, she was trying to sell an ad in a magazine for my small business in Sarasota. She named the Venetian Golf & Country Club in Venice and 2 other high end clubs to which the magazine would be distributed to. This would include 8,000 copies per quarter (if you read the other reviews... there seems to be a pattern...) Also, I was told the first publication would come out in September 2016 (also another pattern...) When I asked for an email with all of the information sent to me to look over more carefully, because she was speaking so quickly, she transferred me to "another department" who could assist me. This next guy, told me to look at the website, listed above, and that if I signed up now, I could receive a very substantial discount. I told the guy I would call back within an hour to follow up. Luckily, a good friend of mine lives in the Venetian Golf & Country Club. I contacted him, assuming he would have seen this magazine before since the company stated they have been distributing in this area for a while (over 14 years). My friend had NEVER heard of the magazine "Reliable Choice". The name is a little ironic since the whole thing seems to be a scam. Do your due diligence and research first! I will not be sending them any money any time soon. read more

I just called the country club they said they were representing and they told me "someone else had just called about the same thing and we are NOT working with this company"...always do your homework before giving someone your credit card info, ESPECIALLY when they try to hard sell and fast-track you to spending your money, credible advertisers will always give you a day or two to read over the facts and look over things! read more

I received a call to advertise in a magazine that was issued to 3 high end country clubs in the Tampa Area. It sounded like a great deal quarterly publications to reach over 8000 people for only $500. SIGN ME UP! But wait, can you send me a link to see a publication of the magazine?....They sent a link to email, I followed it and a sample publication popped up not a real copy. So I asked to see a real copy.....Ohhh we don't have published copies because we don't want the advertisee to get calls from Dick and Jane all day. Then whats is the point of advertised in this magazine? My next response was I live in the area where I will be advertising so I will go to the country club and ask to see one of the publications. We are just breaking into that market and haven't advertised there before this would be the first time. So i tell Steve Not a problem what areas in Florida have you advertised in? He responds the east coast, Miami, Jacksonville. I say hold it, I'm in Jacksonville right now! What club has received the publication? Oh i don't know I just remember doing it over a year ago but I can try to get my marketing manager to find out and we can get back to you. Thank you Steve Meyers I will look forward to your call. Still no call back. This company is a joke! read more

Thank you to all of you small business owners that took the time to write a review! Without your reviews I would have not been able to confirm my suspicions. I was contacted TODAY by Justin of TRC Multimedia stating he represented a publication that goes out to three key local area country clubs and they were looking for high end businesses to represent a client demand for my services. My guess is they found me because I just got my new website and business listed on Google places. Could be how they are finding their fresh meat? The names of the country clubs were real so I listened...After an hour of pitching me as being a business in the top 5 Golden categories that their homeowners (8000) to be exact were specifically looking for my services, extremely complimentary, and so forth I asked him to break down the numbers for the supposed survey for my services (equestrian was the category) ...then asked about how long they have been in business. I was told 9 years, in 900 markets in US and 4 countries. When I inquired about a sample publication he referred me to their website, which after some homework I validated has only been up for a year and done in basic wordpress. The sample publications they direct you too are your tip off folks! After 9 years in business they had no past publications to show me when asked. Suspicious! NONE of the business ads in these publications have any actual addresses or phone numbers, they are all mock ups with place holders for address & phone and they use some big name companies to lure you. LOOK closely. Suspicious. This could be 2 guys in a basement I'm beginning to think! I was originally told a full page would run $1200. Told him I wasn't interested...put me on hold and when he returned he also went to his so called Editors office who happened to be out...sound familiar...but was able to reach some other title I can't recall who was authorizing this amazing deal... a screaming deal of $400 for full page color across from the table of contents page, magazine quality paper, FIRST issue in our area of Asheville NC for publication release in August. He closed by trying to send me the user agreement to sign and pay for the ad. Then I politely said...Since you are a professional business, looking for other professional businesses I am certain you would have no problem allowing me to do my due diligence and you can call me tomorrow to discuss my decision. He was totally caught off guard, wasn't expecting me to not sign up on the spot. "Oh gee I just old my supervisor you were a definite go for the premium spot and a Golden category business we should offer this special price to." I said "well I'm sure if he really wants me as bad as you say he does 24 hours won't make that big of a deal. So call me tomorrow I have to go. Did my homework on them on the internet, found this Yelp review page and I doubt I will be getting a return call tomorrow from Justin, but if I do I know what I will be saying. Go find your next victim and I hope they find my YELP review before signing with you! read more

I've had a fair share of experience from both sides of the fence-- assisting a family member with her graphics design business from within, and negotiating from without for a brick-and-mortar music store, and I must say I'm pretty darn thrilled with the results that TRC Multimedia has produced for my own upstart. I'm a fairly tech-savvy person myself; familiar enough with Photoshop and basic multimedia production, but the sheer talent and resourcefulness that this team brings to the table is remarkable. I made various inquiries before deciding whether I would be handling the bulk of my website's design or whether I'd bring another company on board-- and what I have especially appreciated throughout the various phases of my project has consistently been the exceptional willingness of the staff to indulge my own tinkerer's curiosity, meeting me where I am, establishing a kind of rapport which has largely contributed to an overall sense of being uniquely valued as a customer, nearly as a friend (special shout out to Jay!) Consequently, development throughout each phase of my project has been joyously smooth, the process of revision getting better and increasingly fine-tuned as the crew hones in on my design goals and vision. Have only the best of words for a company which delivers the best--and TRC Multimedia is such a company--bravo! Highly recommended. read more
