Travis did a great job with my son's haircut. He was easy to talk to and understood the vision my son had and was able to cut and style it so it would grow out nicely. read more

Best cut in a very long time. Travis is professional, skilled, and listens to every concern. Will definitely be back!

My guy's been cutting hair for years and it shows. He's got serious skill and a sharp sense of style that sets him apart. Every cut is clean, fresh, and tailored just right. If you're looking for a legit barber who knows what he's doing, this is the one. read more

I've been going to, my friend, Travis for over 4 years. He is first and foremost and artist having talents beyond your typical hair stylists because of his naturally artistic god given gifts. Travis has expansive knowledge of the latest industry trends, men's and women's cuts & coloring, and women's highlights/lowlights. One of Travis's best skills is his ability to connect with his clients through listening to and helping them tweak their hair styling plans, as well as working with them to achieve the looks they are going for. I cannot recommend Travis more highly. He has helped me achieve various looks and styles over the years and I am indebted to him for helping me achieve the look and feel I want for my hair. Trav's talents extend beyond hair styling to photography so chat with him about that, too. I hired him to help me update head shots and several parties have hired him to shoot their weddings or other special occasions. read more

Having been born to parents that excelled in the professional arts of hair and fashion design for film stars, celebrities and socialites in New York and Hollywood, I've learned a few things about hair and clothing design. Recently, I needed to find a new stylist for my haircuts. A traditional men's barbershop is fine for most, but I require a higher level of skill with a scissors. After a lengthy search of local websites and reviews, I came across Travis Sargent. Instantly. just from what I'd seen and read about Travis, I knew he had the ability I wanted. I was so pleased! He has the skills of a master like those of prior generations. Travis' work is not simply a cut: it's sculpture. Do not hesitate to book time with him. He's a delightful conversationalist and an outstanding stylist. You will be very happy and look amazing! read more

I discovered Travis quite by accident when a friend recommended that I see him at his studio at Salon Lofts, along Dale Mabry in Carrollwood, in the little strip mall in front of Lowe's. I was tired of getting shaved by the neighborhood buzz and clip shops, and she recommended that I visit an actual stylist and get some suggestions for a nicer haircut. That's what brought me into see Travis for the first time, and I've been back to see him several times. Travis has been a stylist for about 12 years, and as I recall, he received intense training by Lorèal Professional, Pureology and at Redken Exchange in New York. In addition to maintaining his "chair" at Salon Lofts, Travis also works as an Artistic Educator for Pureology and Lorèal Professional. All of this means that you'll be working with a real professional who is always seeking to learn more about the latest trends in coloring, cutting and styling hair. He's been able to help me grow my hair out a bit more (what little of it that I still have), and gives me a very professional cut that manages to stay in place without a bunch of sprays, goops and gels to hold it down. We have a standing joke that whatever he cuts off he has to glue back on top of my head, and Travis just grins and rolls his eyes while keeping up his banter, and news about his family. We've become good friends, and I've been privileged to learn about his photography business, and see some of his amazing portrait work. It's another extension of his very creative talents on display. I don't normally get excited about going to get my hair cut, but I really enjoy my visits with Travis, and appreciate the high-quality service that he provides. Go to his website to make your reservation, and you'll receive an email reminder the day of your appointment. read more

Travis Sargent - Always smiling, and full of jokes, Travis Sargent is an outstanding hair stylist, and a mighty fine photographer - Hair Stylists Near Me - Land O' Lakes, Florida

Travis has a ton of experience and is a true professional. Would highly recommend him!

First off I will start by saying that I am a licensed cosmetologist, which makes me EXTRA cautious with who does my hair !! Travis has been doing my hair for several years now and is the only person I trust to come near my head with a pair of shears. His prices are very reasonably priced and he uses top notch products that you can't find anywhere else (which I love !) read more

I highly recommend calling Travis for your next salon visit! After a bad ombré experience with another stylist I still wanted the look but was nervous to put my hair through another round of bleach. Travis listened to what I wanted and created it perfectly! No more bad ombré - I left the salon with a subtle, blended look that was almost natural looking... exactly what I asked for! He even recommended some great at-home Pureology products to protect and strengthen my hair. I'm usually hesitant to send friends to a stylist (who wants to be the cause of a friend's hair crisis?) but everyone I've sent to Travis has loved their hair after! I know I can count on him to consistently do a great job. Not only is he great with color, but Travis is the only person my husband will actually pay money to cut his hair. His cuts are precise, trendy and always thorough. read more

In Tampa, there are plenty of places for a commitment-phobe like myself to get her hair done. But not everyone can deal with my endless supply of nonsensical (albeit witty) chatter, or my indecisiveness with the future of my mane ("So I kind of want red...but like a bright red...or maybe a brown red? Or should I go blonde?"). Thank goodness I found Travis- he's got the shine. He always has input: not the unwelcome kind, but the kind where he'll tell you if you're going to look like an extra on The Walking Dead if you go THAT dark. He is the sultan of the shears: Zooey bangs? No problem. Renee bob? Done. Giselle layers? Now they're your thing. The man knows color: I have one name for you- Roy G. Biv. I have gone from anime black to fire red to ombré and then some, and Travis has made it all manage to look even better than it did in my head. Never has there been an instance of "Why is my hair this color?!" Also, my hair has never fallen out under his care, which is saying a LOT since I have very fine, very fragile locks. I will not go anywhere else to get my hair done, and I am one picky broad. I even moved 2000 miles away, and STILL texted him for his opinions and advice. He is a fantastic colorist, stylist, magician, cyclist, beard grower and coffee drinker. Still not convinced? Well, then maybe you should try somewhere else. I hear SuperCuts is really perfecting that mom-mullet from the nineties. read more

Super skilled! Travis has an incredible eye for detail, and it shows in both his cuts and his photography. I will definitely be coming back to him for all my future cuts. Super professional, informative, skilled, and down to earth. Finally found my permanent hair dresser. read more

Travis has pure raw talent. Originally brunette, now platinum blonde, it is always a challenge to find someone capable of making it look natural. Travis always surpasses my expectations. My hair is shiny and finally doesn't feel like straw! He is the only person in Tampa who doesn't make my hair orange or brassy. I love his constant knowledge of new products and techniques. Travis always makes my experience in the salon something I look forward to and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!!!!! read more

Travis has been cutting hair for my brother and I for probably 10 years. He does an incredible job and is extremely consistent. He's very easy going and fun to talk with while you are getting cut or colored and usually has some new photography project on the wall to look at. My brother and I both look forward to seeing Travis every few weeks. Give him a try, all of my friends that have tried have become regulars too. read more

The stylist I had been going to for years quit when she started her family. I was afraid that I would not find someone who could help figure out my picky style and taste in hair but when I went to my first appointment with Travis, I left the salon looking great and absolutely loving my hair cut and color. I typically never know exactly what I want and Travis has been able to figure that out every time I've gone to him (I've been back to him since our first appointment together!) I also love how easy it is to schedule my appointment through his online booking system. I am so glad I was referred to Travis and definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great stylist who is extremely talented and caught up on the trending hair styles. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Travis based on reviews and he knocked it out of the park. I'm very happy with my color and cut. I would highly recommend him. read more

Travis is the man! Always accommodating to his clients and is a master of his craft! Highly recommend him to anyone!

Being a guy that cares tremendously about the details of a haircut, I was rarely ever satisfied. After being referred to Travis by a friend, I was more than satisfied after my first cut. Living in Orlando, I drive almost 100 miles each way once a month to go see Travis because after seeing so many professionals I know no one does it better. From a simple clean up to an overhaul for a new style, Travis REALLY DOES KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING and is the very BEST at his craft. Regardless of talent, the persons personality behind the scissors can always have an effect on your experience. Travis is very sincere, kind, and overall just a standup super chill/cool guy. He enjoys talking about almost anything and is a great listener if you're one of those people. Overall, if you made it to this page looking for men's or women's hair services, stop looking and make an appointment, I promise you won't regret it. read more

Travis is a Godsend ! cuts my hair they way I want it . Now I don't have to travel to NY when I want a great cut .( Had my hair done with at Mystic Salon a few times too many with rather poor results. ) Anyway , cheers to Travis read more

The search is over!! I found someone who understands the importance of maintaining health and integrity of hair while giving you the latest coloring techniques and style. I moved here from Chicago where I left a high end salon and was very picky about who I would trust to maintain my long medium brown hair with blond highlights that still shines and doesn't split. Travis is amazing! He is an artist first who has a keen sense of what works for each individual, yet he listens to what you want and provides an excellent result. My boys now get their haircut with him as well, and he is just as meticulous with men's haircuts. He uses top of the line products, has great prices, and scheduling is easy and convenient on his website. Besides being a trusted professional, Travis is just a nice guy and pleasant to be around! read more

I went to Travis because of all of the good reviews he received on here. To my pleasant surprise, all of them were true. He did a great job with my cut and was very personable. There was no awkward silence that you get with some stylists where your staring at your own reflection for 20 minutes playing the last song you heard on the radio over and over in your head. Haircut came out great and just found my new go to person for my future cuts. I highly recommend Travis to anyone wanting a chill experience. read more

Best haircut of my life! Travis is incredible at what he does, I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a haircut or style that they love.

I highly recommend Travis! I don't have the easiest hair to work with so I've had a hard time finding someone that can actually style and recommend products that will work for me but Travis has always done a great job..My hair is the healthiest it has been in years! If you're looking for an amazing stylist look no further. I ordered some extensions online, and when they came in the mail they were not even close to my hair color. Hoping to salvage them, I immediately called Travis. He colored them for me to match my hair and they are perfect! He even cut them so they blend amazing. Travis is always punctual and extremely knowledgeable. 10/10 check him out! read more

I have been going to Travis for my cut and color exclusively for over 10 years and I would never think of going anywhere else. My hair always looks amazing when I leave and I can always expect great results. Not only is he a great artist but he is also a great person. He is extremely personable and always keeps me laughing. He always listens to what I want and always gives me his honest, professional opinion on my hair. Even when I don't want to hear it.:) My sons have now started to also get their hair cut and styled with Travis and they always look quite dapper when they leave.
