Once you exited, the cars got into two lines (left for non-EU and right for EU); we passed Border Control, and then found our exit of the port and were on our way to Amsterdam. The line for customs moved quickly and it was just such a different and more comfortable and better process than flying!! (I'm hoping this ease and convenience will remain in place, even after Brexit!) There was an announcement on board the ship in English and Dutch languages, for passenger to leave their cabins about ~30 mins before departure. This was to allow the staff to clean cabins for the folks coming on board in Rotterdam for their overnight journey to the UK, and so my mum, brother, and I spent a nice time in the lounge, and watched our ship entering the Port, with a beautiful view of the sun setting into the sea. I was impressed with this company from the moment I booked it online to the actual trip experience. My family and friends could not believe that it was actually a ferry not a cruise ship. Upon boarding, we were lead to our cabin and greeted with complementary bottle of red wine to enjoy while getting ready for our dinner. Our cabin was surprisingly roomy for two people and was equipped with television, WiFi, work table, spacious bathroom and oversized port hole window behind our bed. There were two fine dining restaurants and we chose the set menu which didn't break the bank. the dishes are freshly cooked and plated really well. In addition to a couple of bars, they also have Money Changer, Movie Theater and play room for all ages to enjoy. I have no words for how wonderful my experience with Stena Line was. This is definitely something one has to consider when travelling from Amsterdam to United Kingdom. Its comfortable, yet affordable and in style!

The employee here was very helpful and friendly. The tour was good and quite informative. While they do give you directions of how to get there, it's relatively confusing. Luckily they have several locations across the route and I had to pop in to two other locations for further instructions.

He wouldn't let us board, claiming he had to wait for his passengers, even though we had purchased tickets. No bus number was assigned, only the time. His attitude was extremely rude, and the bus was at least 50% full. We wasted over 30 minutes looking for another bus despite having purchased tickets. Your seat depends on the drivers and their arrogant attitude.

I was able to get so much more sightseeing done without having a giant pack on my shoulders. The employees were all super friendly and efficient, and the place was clean and easy to find. It's half a block away from a team station, and only a few minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal. Plus there's a bar right next door if you need to grab a quick drink or snacks before your journey!
