The ambiance is old school, and the view of the River Mersey is fantastic. It was filled with locals, all having a good time, you can tell that this place has a history of friends meeting and enjoying a pint. While I didn't eat any food on this visit, I saw several eating and it all looked good. If I lived here, I would stop in often and have a pint, so I look forward to coming back and visiting in the future!
