I was extremely impressed from the moment I set up reservations, through check out. We arrived to…read morefind a friendly and informative front desk staff, whom i found to be very knowledge of the hotel, and the vicinity as well. The hotel was welcoming, clean, and check in was a breeze. The service attendant even went of their way to alter our reservation in a positive way to better our experience. Snacks were provided in the lobby upon checking, and the pool was clean and indoors with plenty of complimentary towels. Hot tub in the pool area as is well Rooms were clean, ample amenities decent television channel selection. Easy access parking, continental breakfast was very good! Will be back!!Extremely courteous staff.

We stayed in room 211. It was our first time at a comfort inn & suites. Typically, we stay in the…read morehilton brand hotels, so I was a little nervous staying somewhere I'd never heard of. The hotel itself wa's clean, had all the modern amenities and I was on par with what we are accustomed to. They have a complementary breakfast with a lot of options. The indoor pool was warm and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable. All the reviews about friendly staff are a hundred percent accurate. From check in to check out, everybody was very kind and friendly. There's not a lot in Macon, Missouri, but this Comfort inn & suites was a great place to lay our head while we were visiting family in town. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the heater. On our last night, the heater started making a ton of noise. Which reminds me, I forgot to tell the front desk about it when we checked out, oops!

Stayed 1 night while relocating cross country…read more Pros: * Beautifully clean rooms. * Incredibly comfy bed with tons of pillows. * Lovely front desk staff. * I wasn't prepared (& frankly too tired after a very long day of driving in the rain), but they have an indoor pool & fitness center. Nice to see that some guests used them. * In-shower shampoo/conditioner & body lotion on wall next to sink. * M/W, fridge (although mine wasn't very cool & might need service), small coffee pot with a couple of coffees. * Breakfast from 6:30-9:30am on the weekend. It was very good... sausage links, egg patty, biscuits & gravy. Some cereal, waffle iron & a few carbs... bread, bagels. No fruit. Unsure if they had coffee... I didn't see drinks, but I carry my own espresso maker, so I don't usually imbibe. * Lots of TV channels including HBO & sports. Unfortunately, not many news channels or a weather channel. * Fast elevator. Yes, it matters if you travel as much as me. Cons: * Same as with any hotel since Covid, price... $175. That's a lot. * Not really a con but there's not much here... a KFC & Casey's. * Wifi's a bit tricky to connect to. Solid 4.5-5* out of 5. You won't regret it if you stay.

Not well managed…read more First I recognize there are few options in the area but this hotel is being run into the ground. I'll try not to comment on the clientele because that isn't under the complete control of the hotel, but let's just say it was rowdy and loud. Due to availability we needed to stay in 2 rooms. One room was on the first floor. The entire ground floor smells like they must had had a flood and it is now mildewy and moldy. The conference room even had floor fans going so I'd say that's a good guess. The workout room is itty bitty which is fine, but the treadmill wouldn't turn on and maybe I'm glad because the mildew smell and humidity in there was probably not good for breathing. The next room was better smelling albeit still slightly damp and smelly. But we had fewer towels than people and they couldn't provide any more towels to us because they didn't have any. They did offer to wash the two towels that we had and we'd get them back in over an hour. Seriously? That's just unacceptable and poor management of a hotel.

My work had me stay at this hotel a few months ago. I forgot to add it to Yelp. Having an extended…read morestay at a large hotel chain this week, that is considered upscale, and the inner problems I encountered, I swear by these newer, smaller hotels, less upscale. I found this hotel to be spotless and refined. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The breakfast varied and was always fresh, hot and tasty. They left the utensil area available if one would need it later. The room had large a LCD tv's, and a comfortable bed. The cleaning staff were spot on. My work hours change, so sometimes I'm in the room, and sometimes I'm in and out. I found to the internet to work really well. Sometimes the internet in smaller town hotels is spotty. Not here. One thing is, my Garmin tried to put me 3 streets behind this hotel. The front desk stayed on the phone with me, and finally got me here. I don't normally eat at hotel restaurants, but there is a Mexican restaurant attached to this, or next to it. There's a couple of fast food places around. It's a quiet, small town hotel. One I would definitely stay in again, and I look forward to it.

Our stay was fabulous! The room was spotless and smelled exceptionally clean as soon as you opened…read morethe door which we don't often experience in hotels. Plenty of clean towels and we appreciated the liquid hand wash (rather than the wrapped bar of dry soap), and plenty of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided. A shower cap and makeup remover wipes were also provided. We were there with our dog and I love that the door to go outside has a giant window beside it so you can see if someone else with a dog is coming and can give them space to pass. Plenty of close grassy areas for your dog to go potty, as well as grassy areas a bit further away for more privacy. Also I love that the dog rooms were all on the first floor. The front desk staff were so friendly and professional. Our keycard wasn't working at first and before we even asked for another one, he already had 2 more for us! The breakfast was impressive- there was REAL bacon, mini cheese omelets, tater tots, delicious fresh waffles, and a variety of juices and other baked goods. Also, oatmeal with toppings. There were also a variety of condiments and spreads to choose from. In our room, we were surprised to have a Keurig with good-quality K-cups, Green Mountain brand. Our room was so quiet and we could not hear any talking from other rooms, except doors closing but it wasn't as loud as it usually is when we've stayed at other hotels. There is a Wal-Mart that is walking distance from the hotel which was very convenient. We would definitely stay at this specific hotel again next time we are passing through!
