I asked about group gatherings and was told I'd be notified. That never happened!!! They say there goal is to improve life yet the cost is way out of reach. Especially now with gas over $4.20 a gal. There no way 3 2 hour max sessions could cost $1000, which it is now. They want to improve people's lives if they have money!!! Hypocrites.

The salt cave is truly a soul cleansing experience. I have asthma so breathing in the salt air does wonders for my lungs. The entire atmosphere including the boutique is so calming. The scent is just wonderful and once you get settled in your chair the staff puts a nice blanket on you and even tucks in your feet. Sweet. The sounds of the ocean and comfortable soft lighting. Add some crystals to hold and just close your eyes and relax. Two of us fell asleep. I dreamt that I was at the beach. Made me realize how much I need to actually get back to the beach. After we did some shopping - the Tree of Life scent of soap, lotion, and scrub is fantastic. Bought one of the crystals I used during the session. Even bought a cute little bee ring. Great time had by all. Can't wait to go back.

I went with a friend this past week. It was a first visit to a Buddhist Temple for each of us. We…read moreare both new to meditation, too. So, as we walked up the steps to the Three Rivers Tibetan Cultural Center, it made me feel relaxed to see the sign" All are welcome here", before I opened the door. We took our shoes off in the small vestibule. I had read that while the beginner meditation classes on Saturday mornings are free, it is suggested that a small donation be made, since this is how the monks rely on keeping the center running, and how they are able to feed and support themselves with basic everyday needs. I donated money in a jar in the hall entranceway. I was warmly greeted by Jonnie. She seated us . Throughout the entire service and meditation session, terms and the service itself, were well-paced and explained, so I didn't feel like an outsider. The concept on intentions, paired with meditation, were eye-opening. The concept behind what real compassion is, was heart-opening.I am excited to go back and try other meditation services at local Buddhist Temples, like the one near me in Monroeville. Three Rivers Tibetan Cultural Center is located in Swissvale and there is free residential street parking.

I've been so pleased and surprised at how much I've experienced at her sessions. I love it! I'd recommend it for anyone looking to work on their self-healing and to achieve a more focused center. In this day and age, we need all that we can get, in that respect. I look forward to the day where I can utilize what she offers in the way of instruction in Reiki. I'm fascinated. She makes the meditation easy and especially, for anyone a little timid or shy about going, it is a breeze with Jennifer. Again, I recommend Zen Path Healing Arts for anyone.

I wasn't expecting to like yoga this much. I've taken yoga classes before at various rec centers,…read morebut this is different. This is a real workout. I love the Strong-Basics classes. The instructors do a great job talking you through the poses, which is helpful if you don't know what you're doing. YogaStrong also offers beginner classes which help explain what's going on in the Strong classes so you can do the poses correctly. The Strong yoga is a great workout because it consists of a mix of planks, lunges, yoga poses, and stretching. The heated studio is amazing too! I love sweating off the calories and I look forward to going into the studio on cold days. What I like about YogaStrong is the huge variety which ensures that the classes are never boring. Not only are there a variety of classes offered (Strong, Strong-Basics, Yin, Slow Flow Meditation, Beginner, etc...), the classes themselves are varied due to different instructor styles. I've taken the Strong-Basics classes several times and each instructor runs it differently. The other great thing is the availability of classes. Classes start at 5:30 AM and run until 9:15 PM so you can always find SOMETHING. In the last three weeks of attending, I've lost a few pounds and gained strength and flexibility. This studio is a bit pricey, but they give discounts for veterans and students. I'm taking college classes, so that's nice. I bought the monthly-student-unlimited plan (you have to show a bill or course schedule as proof. They don't look at student ID cards). If I attend at least 6 times per month, it's worth it financially. I've been attending 4 to 5 times per week! So basically my classes are turning out to be around 4 bucks a class. If you buy the monthly plan, really take advantage of it to make it worth the money. This is a lifestyle change for me. Really. I wasn't expecting to love Yoga, but now that I'm doing it the RIGHT way and the REAL way, I'm in love. I'm excited about the future. I can't wait to see where my strength and flexibility will be at this time next year! I have rheumatoid arthritis, so to have discovered a way to feel strong and in more control of my body has been emotionally uplifting and empowering. I'm more positive about my disease and what the future holds for my body. I CAN DO THIS. Thank you Yoga Strong!!!
