I was able to enjoy both the Pilates on the reformer and the mat classes along with a private session, I loved the constant variety, no class is the same and each move allows the ability to cater to your needs. Loree knew I had been dealing with a shoulder injury and was always suggesting alternative moves for me to do! I highly recommend taking her classes, you won't be disappointed! I've attended quite a few yoga classes with different instructors, and everyone has been extremely nice and helpful. Still hoping to try out the barre and spin classes. The studio is clean, cozy, and offers a variety of classes each day, which is helpful if you have a flexible schedule. The only negative I've found is that sometimes people waiting for the next class to start can be very loud in the waiting area which is located right next to the yoga room, often interrupting the relaxation of savasana. I'd also love for them to integrate more chanting/spiritual elements in class and maybe even use oils on the third eye and temples while in savasana; but that's just a request, not a complaint :) Overall Studio Oxygen is a fantastic studio in an area with very limited yoga options.

So sad that this place was sold to Julie. I have heard the same complaints from others (myself…read moreincluded) ref when walking thru the door you're treated like you're an inconvenience to her. She is not welcoming at all and doesn't even show you around in regards to different modalities, etc. When asking her about some things she just blows you off. When calling you can't even hear what is being said on the machine. Did the float pod initially with my dtr. and a massage with Jimmie and Kolibri (who are BOTH absolutely FANTASTIC). They were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the facility. Later learned that they were the ones who originally built Mystic Float. Too bad they sold it. I will still go there to see them both for massages, but will not use any of the other modalities there. Went twice to the salt cave and spoke to Julie about the halotherapy that appeared to not be working properly. Told me that she cleaned it, but it still was not putting out any mist. Waste of money and the music in the salt cave was way too loud. I will return to 'Inner Whispers' on Hills and Dales for the halotherapy (which is GREAT and you can actually feel the mist. And plus they have other modalities there and the energy throughout the place is INCREDIBLE). If they had a different person running Mystic Float their business might pick up, but unfortunately Julie does not have the right energy, temperament, or attitude for a wellness center. No one should have to walk thru the doors of this type of business and feel like they're an inconvenience or not welcome.

Some of the reasons that I love it so far: * The instructors - I have taken at least one class with every instructor, and all of them epitomize the studio slogan of STRONG*SEXY*FIT. They often come around during class to help make sure that your form is correct so that you're getting the most out of your workout, which I really appreciate. * The challenges - Laura periodically runs various challenges throughout the year to help keep everyone motivated. I successfully completed the Summer Burn Challenge, even with an 8 day vacation scheduled in the middle of the challenge period. * The variety of classes - there are at least a dozen different classes from which to choose. Even when I attend the standard bootybarre class, which continues to be my favorite, the instructors do an excellent job of changing it up so that each class is different. * The equipment - each class uses different equipment including hand weights, small balls, large balls, various bands, TRX bands and of course, the ballet barre. Starting in January, Laura is adding a new class called bootybarre Bounce, which uses fancy trampolines. I can't wait! * The schedule - classes are available 7 days a week and both mornings and evenings. There are even classes available at 5:30AM two days per week to accommodate early birds like me...
