I got the tuna dish and although the tuna had a good sear and was fresh, the portion size was so small it is laughable. Very pretty place both for interior and view outside (during the day). I don't think they have outside seating but I am not sure as I visited in the winter. I was here for lunch and ordering food and drinks is done at the counter. You take your own drinks to your table, warm food is served. There was a queue and when I asked if my pizza could be slices in de kitchen I got an unfriendly answer that the kitchen staff is very busy but if they have time they will cut it for me. When the pizza was served we realized it is served without cutlery and that there are no napkins on the table. Took me a minute but then I found those on the bar. The menu seemed to offer pasta and pizza and the pizza I ate tasted average. Not bad, don't get me wrong, but not something I will remember. Free WiFi and clean bathroom. read more

Review will be graded by atmosphere, food, service, price and location. Let's start with atmosphere first: The atmosphere in the restaurant was good, music sound was enough to fit the "background music" type vibe that I like when I eat, not too loud so that you only hear the music, and not too low so that you can still hear it while speaking with your partner/s. Food: As for food, this place definitely specializes in pasta. Out of the three pasta dishes my comp ah orders, none of them had any complaints. Most of the dishes were considered delicious and really tasty. As for the meat however it could use some work. Me and my friend orders two different meals and both of the dishes were overcooked, a tad dry and very chewy. We did not try the pizza dishes. Service: MOST of the service personal were SUPER nice and helpful whenever they were around which was not often. Me he because it was a bit busy, but for me that's not a valid reason. As a well known restaurant the staff knows (or should know) how to handle busier nights. Price: As for the price, I would say it's more expensive than average restaurants but not "too expensive" in relation to what type of restaurant it is and where it is located. So to sum it up I'd say that this place is a great place for a special occasion (birthdays, date, family gathering) if pasta is the main objective this place will hit the spot. If you have a diverse group that likes to eat various stuff then I do believe that there are places more fit for a diverse audience. Beautiful restaurant at the seaside of Kungsholmen. It's supposed to be kind of fine dining. We all had starters: the buffalo mozzarella was great. Neither the salmon nor the carpaccio was to recommend. The flavours just didn't make it... The tuna was an amazing main dish! I would definitely recommend it. My friends had the ravioli and risotto which were also great. The pizza dessert was delicious! This restaurant should really do something about their restrooms. They are disgusting and very badly managed: overflowing with trash, no paper towels, water all over the floor. Unacceptable in a restaurant like this in my opinion. I would probably not go back. I will only give a 3/5. Whenever they fix their restrooms I could increase the rating to 4. read more

I love how they really succeeded to creat a unique ambiance inside this restaurant. It reminds you of wineries in Tuscany. There is a bar attached to the restaurant with a waterfront outdoor tables & very good cocktails which makes it a perfect combination for a night out specially for bigger groups. You can choose to have a drink in the bar with loud music or you can sit in this restaurant & eat a nice meal if you prefer more quiet place to chat or you can combine both. The so called slider burger (appetizer) was one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had & the pizza was full of flavor & really yummy too. The platter we ordered on the other hand was nothing special but maybe you would like that if you are into really greasy cold cuts & salamis The only con of this place was that the service was very slow & the wine is a little too overpriced! read more

Definitely one of my favorite meals in Stockholm! This is a pretty restaurant right on the water in Kungsholmen. I loved the decorations in this place- hanging baskets, lights, olive oil jars, I thought it was beautiful. I ordered the "small" pasta and with 3 side dishes for our table of 5 to share, it was plenty of food for me. It was also my birthday and the waitress gave us a free dessert on her, which was super sweet and unexpected, one of my favorite moments of my day. The panna cotta, which we ordered, was a little more runny than i am used to, but it tasted phenomenal. Pro tip - this place gets pretty busy so make a reservation in advance if you can. read more

We were a group of 8 people starting off with a drink at the really cozy place next door "Orangerian". Then we crossed the room and entered Trattorian where we were suppose to have dinner with some friends. We had a waiter called Christian I think which took our order. For starters they placed us on a long table with two ppl barely able to sit at the end squeezed together. We booked several days in advanced and the restaurant wasn't that full. There were some knives missing which we had to get our self. Christian recommended some wine for our lamb which was a Nebbiolo and good even though it's 600kr a bottle. I asked for some balsamico for my bread and olive oil and Christian our waiter forgot about that. The starters was really good, lots of cheese and ham and things which everyone enjoyed. Then in came the main, which were 4 pork, a few veggie pastas and some other food. Problem is that we ordered lamb and not pork and the waiter even repeated the orders. 10 mins later came our lamb and not all at the same time unfortunately. The sides we choose were mashed potatoes, but tasted like it was bought from the supermarket. The meat was cooked ok, but no seasonings and had a really burnt flavor. Several times the waiter made a fool out of him by forgetting stuff and delaying our orders. For dessert we ordered an espresso and he forgot it so we had to tell him again before he came with it. Been here a few of times now. It's become the go-to restaurant for me and my girlfriend on special occasions. You'd be hard pressed to find a restaurant with more bang for the buck, so to speak. It's not *the best* food in Stockholm (though it may well be the best Italian), but if you spend SEK 300 here, you've bought yourself an experience to remember. How many places can you honestly say that about? The captivating interior does its bit, as does the impeccable service, but at the end of the day, it's the food that counts, and Trattorian beats other restaurants' whole menus with its bread alone. /G.G. read more

Liked the interior, they've managed to combine swedish design with a cosy atmosphere. The food: I had the marinted fish to start with. It tasted like sushi with a citrusy twang to it. Not overly impressed but it was definitely edible. Had the lamb chops with forest mushrooms as the main. The shrooms lived up to the expectations however the lamb chops were undercoocked and way too salty. We finished off with a choclate cake which was delicious, thus it was the highlight of the dinner. Final verdict: worth a visit for the ambiance and the service. However, if you want to eat at a place where the food is top notch, you're better off trying somewhere else. read more

We ate here a couple of months ago. The waitor was not happy when we just decided to have a glass of wine instead of a whole bottle. I had fish for main course and I sent it back. It was far to salty and it had hardly any meet on the bone. When I asked the waitor he just took it away and placed another order without asking me! It is also way too expensive given the quality of the food for instance you pay 45 SEK for a cold side order of some beets. The day after we sent a e-mail to the restaurant explaining the situation but they didn't even bother to reply. That behaviour clearly shows a lack of commitment to the business. We went there during the restaurant week deal and they treated us very poorly and served us the cheapest white wine instead of asking us which bottle we wanted and the portions were very small - the soup was a touch of tomato sauce with some lumps of fish. We had brunch. Food was delicious, and the kitchen staff was present, responding in an accurate and nice way to any questions about the food. Everything else was unfortunatley awful. The waiting staff was bad from the second we entered the door to when we left, including the bartender(s). I was really upset in seeing the nonchalans and ignorance that was presented to us from the staff. I usually have a high tolerance and respect for service personell, since I am a waitress myself. But I will not be visiting trattorian again. read more
